Sugar was Five, and she was this pretty cat with salt and pepper fur, and blue eyes. . It's been years since I've experienced a death like this. So, when she died it hit us hard- My sister especially.
God, those cat pictures are priceless.
that's far too young for a kitty... she sounds beautiful, though. was her name a good indicator of her personality?
I hope the pictures helped. smile I know it can only do so much, but I have seen the effects of kittens on frowning faces, and experienced it personally myself in some of the worste situations I have been in life. they can make people smile even when they are grieving from a death.

Totally not drowning in homework every day. Nooo, not at all... Totally didn't just turn in an incomplete program online 3 mins before it was due. Totally not feeling a little bummed and tired. Totally didn't have a beautiful dream about her ex this morning and didn't awake to roommate's alarm clock... NOoooooOOoo....gonk
Meh, I'm a'ight. I'll keep this baby afloat! My minor problems are nothing, aside from not finishing that program.emotion_dowant

I kind of know how you feel, Angelo. I took care of those kitties in my neighborhood for over a year (y' know about my "entourage", right). And then they were gone in an instant because some new neighbor called the pound to get them. So I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should get a new cat when you feel like you can handle it? Finding a new love sometimes makes the pain of the old one go away.
Woooahhhh, that was like advice to myself. o.o Hookay, anyway.

Thanks. ^_^ I was really proud of thinking of that name on my own. >:3 I kinda feel like I'm pulling most of the work for our small group, but it's okay. I'm looking forward to it starting this Thursday.
AND ON A BRIGHT NOTE Rafa Nadal won the U.S. Open today!! Wooooo!!!

But if you don't like tennis like me and Ange...
I'm still grumbling it wasn't Murray or Djokavich.... stare

It took me a few years to warm up to Djokovic, to be honest. But I highly respect the guy; he put up a fabulous fight.
I'm still not sure about Andy Murray. He's a great player, too, but his playing style isn't dominating like the others.

Aaaand I need to go to bed... Woo, 8am class.
I disagree. Murray is very controlled, and that's why he beat Djokovic last year.

My mother named her Sugar- I don't know why, to be honest. But, when she was a baby she was very soft and docile. She was born on top of me; I woke up one morning to see my mother and sister petting Puff while she was nursing Sugar. Sugar was born on me, well. . I wanted her to go out on me. . [Nods]

Soubi's punk a** got me into Tennis XD I started watching it last year! God, I was so happy when Nadal won. The whole time Soubi and I were like "VAMOS, RAFA, VAMOS!!!" XD
But up until this past Wimbledon, he didn't really consistently establish himself. I feel that he has yet to reach his full potential.

I must give Soubi kudos then. >:3
I was hooping and clapping all loud in my room. xD I watched up until the beginning of the fourth set. Then I had to leave for tutoring and my mom just texted me what was going on.emotion_8c

I didn't see the rest of the game, because my sisters took the TV from me. So, Soubi told me that Rafa won! And I was happy! If I had some Asti Champagne, and some Merlot, I would've partied it up! XD
So, today is September 11th. . Today, 13 - 14 years ago I had just turned twelve years old. I was in the sixth grade, and I remember I was in the middle of "Free Writing time". I was writing a story when an announcement came over the loud speaker, telling all of the teachers to turn the channel. My teacher turned to the channel he was instructed to turn to, and that's where we saw live news coverage on the towers. I remember at the time I didn't get what was going on- I had never heard of the towers before, and every time someone had made mention of the Twin Towers, I'd think of LOTR. But once I heard that people died, my heart dropped.
So, I'm wondering now, where were you guys when you heard the news? How old were you guys? What were you all doing when you heard the news?

I feel ya, but i think that's the whole point. he learned he needs to step his game. besides, I'm more of a Djocavich fan than a Murray fan anyway.

I was six. I remember my mom picking me up from school early that day because her office had decided to call it quits, as well. I was confused.

Cuz his name is so fun to sceam! RAFAAAA!! ... No, I remember how nimble he was when he first debuted aaat 19 years old, I think. He was amazing, even then.
I like hearing things like this, especially when talking about important parts of history like this. I like listening to thoughts, and feelings, and just knowing that I wasn't the only one who experienced it.
I wonder if people asked each other the same questions to each other throughout History?
