Yes usually she waited around in bed till Malik had gotten up as well, the two usually spent some alone time in that first hour or so of waking from reverie...but she couldn't do it today. Not with things seeming to focus some on whether she was pregnant or not. She was trying, really she was...her body just wasn't playing nice with her in return. So there she was, up to her shoulders in water with her knees pulled up to her chest, chin on her knees. Maybe she was thinking too hard on this...maybe trying to hard, not relaxed enough about it to just let it happen. Piper had to just stop thinking about it...it would happen when it happened. Well then, she'd just have to try harder now wouldn't she? Double dose and what not. So what if it made her nauseous all the time and what not. When you wanted something bad enough, you'd do whatever it takes. Getting herself out of the water, she dried and dressed and made her way back upstairs to her room, grabbed and downed another vial of her potion and then headed back to the main floor. Like it or not, she needed food...seeing as she rarely kept anything down anyway. Though she bypassed the dinning room, whistling as she did and then into the kitchen, opening a cupboard and getting out a generic plate...and then flinging it against the wall to hear a rather satisfying smash. "I was right right...that does feel good..." Giving a little involuntary giggle before she actually got food and sat down with it in the dinning room, which meant a passing look to Malik. "Morning." And back to playing with and occasionally taking a bite of her food.
Sevilin halfway looked up at her again as she came back into the room. That got a raised eyebrow. What more did she want from him? But he merely giving a little nod of his head to her. "I suppose so...you're probably better at this than me." Giving her then another little nod and grabbing a pile of torn fabric with a needle and thread already started on the garment that it used to be, and setting it next to him on the couch.

She shrugged, "I've had my practice..." Then picking up the piece, she had a moment of indecision. Should she sit next to him on the couch or go off into her own little corner? She chose to settled down on the floor and arranged the fabric in her lap, holding it up to assess the damage. She could just imagine him wearing it and all the slices that had to have been on his body. Of course sitting next to him would prompt her to steal glances at him, which she was determined not to do. She faced forward and began making her tiny, neat stitches, closing up the tears in the fabric." You know the tailor could have made you a whole new outfit..."

He shrugged lightly. "I know...but that's a mere waste of fabric and they don't have this type of fabric on this plane." And he wasn't going back to get anymore either. Yes, he would have to change his preferences from what he was used to sooner or later. He was a bit slow when it came to making changes. "Besides...I tried to get it fixed that method. In the end I thought it better to just do it myself.

Silence reigned for a while, it was hard to argue with that but finally she said softly. "If you need something from Andal, which I assume that's where this came from, all you have to do is ask. Isle would be more than happy to get me whatever I ask for. I daresay I'll be getting a package from her soon enough that has my newest addition to my jewelry collection." She was trying to be as helpful as possible to redeem herself from her previous oops. Maybe it was working? She could only hope since she wasn't going to turn around and try to see for herself. "I know you don't like Andal...and would never go yourself...so...just tell me..." And now she was babbling. Gods this was awkward and she didn't like it. She had the urge to crawl into his lap like she'd seen a small child do to her father on Andal when she'd been reprimanded. But she wasn't a child and Sevilin wouldn't appreciate that. Not to mention she didn't need comfort, just his acceptance of both her her apology and wiping away her misdeed. But she would earn it, dammit, charity was not wanted.

He stopped what he was doing a moment, looking fully to her though she refused to look at him and knew why. Did him some good to know that she had responded to his little tactic. And yes, disappointed he was in her for her foolish choice, but not so nearly as much as he had show her before, for her reaction had soothed his own feelings some. He knew she was indeed affected by it and made her think twice. He could afford to forgive her.
"Thank you...but I'll manage. Vrist materials are costly even by the trade standards." Not to mention that dealing with Vrist even indirectly wasn't something that he wanted to do at all. He would skip, thank you. "No need for the stress the dealings would cause, I'll manage. Beggers cannot be choosers, it's simple as that." And then another look to her. "You shouldn't be on the floor."

Completely oblivious to the conclusions going on in Sevilin's mind she was still miserable, sitting there on the floor, stitching away to keep her hands busy. Uncomfortable was an understatement for what she was feeling. She heard his voice and even though it was the same mild tone as always she almost felt the bitter air coming off of it. Or what she presumed to be. "Just trying to help..."

Again the eyebrow raised. Why was she coming off utterly dejected? Honestly...a slap on the wrists wasn't something to get down over. Worse thigns happened. "I know you are, and it's appreciated." Though he set aside the tunic he was working on and the offered a hand down to her. He couldn't really stand her sitting on the floor like that seemingly at his side. Bothered him.

She studied the tear for a moment, finishing up another row of stitches closing yet another gap when his hand came into her field of vision. She glanced at it for a moment then back to her work, intent on working hard enough to finish it up. It finally dawned on her what he wanted and she pushed away from the side of teh couch, then turned and took his hand pulling herself up. She tentaively raised her eyes to his and shrugged lightly, "I really am sorry..." Of course her eyes, much like his would always betray her true feelings and the misery reflected there though she was ready for the clipped words he was likely to deliver.

Hm, that little tactic he had taken had been more effective than he thought. Well good, maybe one time was enough for her to learn from her mistake rather than try her luck again. But he merely let her pull then herself up before giving the hand he had hold of a tug, thus making her sit on the couch. That was better.
"You can stop your apologizing Zahara. I accepted it the first time you gave it to me. Hearing it over and over will make it no more or less powerful, unless those uttered words can turn back time. I doubt they can because if they could, I would be repeating the phrase as easy as I breath."

His words snapped her out of the funk she'd fallen into and she realized in that moment she was making entirely too big of a deal of this. He was right, she couldn't turn back time and continously apologizing meant nothing at all. She hadn't quite believed it the first time when he said he accepted it but she felt better knowing he had indeed accepted it. She flopped back on the couch where he apparently wanted her and picked up his pants once again, going back to her repairs. Even if all wasn't well, moping around wasn't getting her anywhere. It was time to move on. She'd apologized and he could either forget about it or still be disappointed. She'd survive. "Fair enough."

"Glad we agree on that." Though he personally chuckled lightly as he throught about it. They were actually agreeing on something and the world hadn't come to an end now had it? Quite amusing indeed was the little turn of events. But with a light sigh he returned to his own work on his tunic, occassionally pricking his fingers and what not but not particularly caring.
A good half hour of that before he sighed once more and set things aside, leaning back against the couch in rather relaxed fashion, bringing a hand up to brush the longer portion of his hair out of his eyes some to where it had fluttered of it's own efforts to annoy him. Yup, time for a break.

The proximity was getting to her as was his relaxed state. Obsidian skin stretched out as far as the eye could see and sitting next to him brought out the temptation to look. She kept herself from physically turning her head though her gaze glanced in his direction a few times and her posture was a bit stiff. She was squeezed about as close to the edge of the couch as she could get so she didn't have to touch him and just kept right on stitching even though her neck was cramping from holding it at such a direct angle.

In his own comfort zone, he was almost oblivious to her own discomfort. But that was probably a good thing on his part, seeing as this was his downtime more or less. A look over to her, raising an eyebrow as he stretched so that his neck popped before rolling his shoudler back to loosen postion held muscles. "You should take a break...head might fall off."
A look to his fingertips, examing the little breaks in his skin from the needle point, not that he cared nor anyone could see them against his dark skin. "And you can relax...I told you there's no use in my striking out at you...and you know I don't just say things to say then." Which was right. Nine out of ten things that left his mouth were pure truth.

"Probably right." Her stiffened posture had nothing whatsoever to do with him possibly hitting her or taking any sort of physical action against her really. Rather it was the fact that she was still attracted to him and the earlier feelings she'd had during her instincts were swiftly resurfacing, which was bad. She dropped the stitching in her lap and glanced down at the fabric resting there. She was almost done and it wouldn't hurt to take a break. He was probably right, her head might tumble right off her shoulders. Moving her head slightly to glance at him she hissed in pain and closed her eyes. That had hurt. Rubbing at the sore muscle with her hands she tried to alleviate the pain and turn her neck. The price she paid for not looking his way. Definitely break time...

Another look over to her...okay he could stop that. Right now he knew what he was doing...he was being an attention whore and knew that he could get attention from her. This was crazy...his sudden need to be around people. It had been bad enough he crossed paths with Arthur as much as he had when they were the only ones here besides the slaves, just to know that someone with free will was in the place. Little attention whore indeed.
He blinked at her little hiss of pain indication, well that was strange...it hurt that bad for her? Then again she had that collar around her neck, so it made sense that it would. Why did she wear that thing anyway...her little connection with Piper? Sevilin flexed his fingers a moment and then almost cautiously reached a hand over, placing it at the base of her neck, more so bracing the back of it for a moment before moving so his hand was just below her collar and took to rubbing in firm motion over the tensed bunch of muscles there. Hm...he could strangle her with one hand yet felt not the need to. Odd.
Though a few moments of that before his brain knocked and woke up whoever was home in there and he more or less snatched his hand back, his brain giving him the image of her bringing up her daggers and cleaving his hand at the wrist...and he wanted to keep that. "Sorry..." Yeah he shouldn't of touched her, good intention or not. Right, you don't help people, remember you idiot? That's right.
