No, nobody hates you. Really. You just have this habit of over-the-top roleplay, in a somewhat unreadable style that people don't have fun with. Your reputation as such has been overexaggerated in a meme style, and it's a damn shame.
There are two different approaches to fighting in roleplay, there are people who fight because they love fighting, and there are people who fight because they love showing that they are better than the other.
You are not a unique and beautiful snowflake, nobody hates you, but people don't have fun with you, so they criticize how you "play". If you want to shut them up, take up Anonymooo's challenge, and prove you don't need metaphysical bullshit to win a fight.
But that's not even important, because you don't understand the basic concept of why people do what they do here. Your ego is so huge, that everything seems like an attack, even this, right now, probablly felt like I was trying to put you down.

Well...you don't suck, Ertie...you're a good RPer as far as fighting alone is concerned...never seen you doing anything else, tho'. You include the proper details of your posts that some people unfortunately lack, which is good. What's bad is that your description of said important details is far too long in the eyes of some...to the point where people just don't care to read it.
S'hard to have fun when you're bored...a strictly detail-only post is boring. Hence, people can get pissed off...which leads to insults. "******** that and ******** you, queer. You suck" usually pops up... o 0;;
...past that alone, Deity can't say until he fights against you himself.

I learned the "over the top" style because it is what suits me best, just like someone elses, take for example Gelmax's is lack-luster and un-original. I tend to think of myself on a higher level because I feel I am on a higher level. My ego and arrogance is a reflection of my annoyance with people such as Gelmax and what not, and it gives me that much more "in your face" room when I do prove them wrong.
I fight to win at all costs, I have been rp fighting enough years to have the common respect for myself, that I dont need to accept every little smart a** or martyr that wishes to try and prove me wrong. And for the record I did accept Moo's challange, I just havnt heard from him, I sent him a pm response.
I have formulated dozens of abilities using the most powerful ideas that I can grasp, and I constantly study, learn and try to perfect my style. If it is a crime for trying to use such a difficult and boring way of fighting than so be it, but did you take it from my perspective and think for once that your style is boring?
I love to read and I always will, I study people OOC and learn which people I can push and get responses from, and plus I love the attention.
I also play my character very well, I try to hold this large ego and arrogance. It just transfers OOC when dealing with some people who also conflict with my ego, take you per-say, I dont feel the need to try and shut you down because you can hold a civil conversation with me and not feed into my ego trap, thus once engaged I will drop the ego and talk civil. I am not an unreasonable man, I am very open and collective to ideas and peoples perspective.
I have been in all your shoes.

Use Photoshop, use Paint Shop Pro - if you want something free, Google "Gimp", and there's even a free alternat to Photoshop that mimicks it's interface being made.. but never, unless you're wanting to do it just for the sake of using it or to edit small things, use the default Paint progran. XD

I don't even know you, Ertai, but I do know of talk about you from other people. I've done some back reading in your previous posts. You're very abstract, nothing wrong with that. It's a style that is different, and that scares some people. -shrugs-

Ertai, I'll ask you this, for all your knowledge, how much do you do to promote a fun experience on Gaia? If everyone stops having fun they leave and you'll be sitting on a throne of an empty land. May be shits and giggles for you, but if no one RPs with you, just how long are you going to be able to pwn face?

arimwen, pm1 You are attacking me in a way I can fight back. Trust me speed does not easily beat me. pm 2 You are about to be knocked out of the ring. If you do not resond within the next 20 mins I will consider it a hit. pm 3 I gave you 20 minutes to respond. Time is up. My attack hit you out of the ring. and the considered hit Bjakon's waves were powerful and striking about his oppent so that it force him out of the ring. This was his plan all along. To force his oppent into defeat. Since his oppent made no respons to his attack he most have been hit hard.
i was busy. screw your time rules.
i'm going to ignore your second attack. like, as if it didn't happen, so i don't have to worry about trying to defend or negate it.

I am a pin-point fighter, I must have the placement of every melee or metaphysical move to be exact, down to the placement of the thumb or the area of psionical manipulation.
I also use a lot of circular logic and filtering in my posts, I constantly keep the target informed of what I am doing.
Oh and btw about Jac and his psionical immunity, he isnt immune like he thinks.

Ah, but Ertai - not all criticize your ability to incorperate detail, to put a mixture of flash and grand information in your posts. However, you assume far too much. You are an experienced roleplay - you've seen your fair share of things, I am sure..
But to assume you have been in all of our shoes, as you put it, is of the utmost arrogance - far surpassing any other "arrogant" statement one can make, most of which you say hardly qualifying as ego flaunting as many people in this thread constantly whine over.
Ertai, you are skilled. And I respect you for trying to constantly modify and perfect your 'style'. However, understand that despite how much we wish for it, and how hard we strive for it - we all will fall, and we all will lose to another at some point or other. You accepting this and incorperating it into your overall scheme would only make you better - as it is, your constant "OOC pushing people to respond" in certain ways will get you few places save dislike from those around you. And slowly, that dislike will turn to bitching - as it has in this thread.. then eventually, it'll turn to nothing. You won't even be a subject, your flaunted 'ego' will be forgotten.
My point: keep up the good work, and try to take some advice from what has been said here. For instance, try to incorperate the same amount of detail as you always have, try to use the same level of vocabulary or higher - but make it more reader friendly, as some have complained over. Length completely beside the point.
