Ceon stood behind Jasie in his lycan form, breathing heavily due to the nitrate. These hunters had some nerve to come in and just open fire on them. He had his mouth open and his claws unsheathed in case the hunter decided to shoot again. But his ears were tilted back and a soft whimper was building up inside him. All he could seem to think of was Layna and how she left him not a week ago.

Meredith sighed. What the ******** had she been thinking coming out here to take all her anger out on other lifeforms that had every bit as much right to live as she did? Not only that but the girl began to see Sethe in the lycan that stood behind Jasie and that made her feel even worse. What would Sethe think had he been here to see what a mess she'd turned into? "If you need some first aid I can call up one of our medics to help stitch you up ... I'm really sorry I shot you but please don't threaten the hunters like that."

Though she was pretty damned upset and depressed and whatnot, Meredith could sense that there was something off with this lycan. He seemed distracted, sad. Normally a lycan would have avoided bullets coming at them from that far away but he'd been nicked. She was a fairly confrontational person and didn't keep things to herself as much as she probably should have. "What's got you down, big guy?" It was clear that she was accustomed to reading lycans and their behaviours.

Sensing Ceon behind her, Jasie was relieved. She wasn't sure these two wouldn't start trouble, but if they did she had back up. Yet she was more worried about Ceon than her own safety, he was already injured and she'd be damned if she let him die.

Jasie listened to Meredith earnestly trying not to bate with her or but heads, even though she had already. Sighing at that, along with feeling shameful for being rude above all else. Jasie seriously wanted a truce between races-- and if coming out and talking openly was the option, then she'd risk it and do so. Most of Meredith's explanations for her kind was true for hers. "I'll admit my kind haven't painted any pretty pictures for are selves. We have rogues and blood thirsty fends-- it makes us as on edge as your kind too. Yet neither race can say who's better, we all have maniac's on both sides making peace never an option." she sigh heavily knowing peace was only a dream.

Grateful and glad Meredith considered Jasie's word on being attack first, Jasie spoke. "Yes-- yet I didn't get a good look. But sure enough are attacker was a hunter. Ceon and I were disguising a few things, when I sensed someone coming. He made a remark and opened fire on us." Jasie said calmly holding back her anger. Yet looking over at Meredith with shameful eyes, Jasie replied in disgrace. "And-- I am sorry for stating your losses were nothing compared to the ones of mine. It was rude, uncalled for and I am shameful for saying it. I'm truly sorry." Jasie said with sincerity. She was only 16 when she fell for a vampire unknowingly, her burden runs bone deep. Since he was the very one who killed each and every family member in front of her, before he then changed her into the monster she now is.

Meredith was through being hostile, she was truly ashamed of herself now after remembering herself, her place and what she was supposed to represent. She wasn't a killer, she really wasn't. Edith had only ever killed to protect herself or someone else. "I never said that anyone's better. Every side, not just vampires and hunters have crazy lunatics running about. But yeah while making peace with everyone isn't possible I'm willing to forgive and forget me being an a*****e to you guys if you can." She outstretched her hand to give Jasie a hand shake in order to make up for what she'd done though she knew it didn't but at least she was trying.

Eden didn't look horribly hopeful after given Jasie's description that really offered no help for her to find the culprit. "Alrighty, unfortunately that doesn't give me a lot to go off of but I'll personally try to track this guy down and do some research. I don't know who the hell's accepting these hunters into our ranks anymore but some of them do need to be straightened out with a good a**-whooping. If you guys see him just call my cell and I'll head on over kind of thing." She handed Jasie her number scribbled down on a piece of paper.

"Yeah, it's fine. I'm sure you've been through more s**t than I've been but yeah. It's horrible no matter how many times or how much was done or how long it went on for so I prefer not to try and compare scars." She nodded respectfully to Jasie, clearly able to be a kind person if she was in the mood to be and a decent person that felt guilty for crossing the line. Her heart was clearly in the right place and Eden Jackson wasn't the angry monster she'd been when she'd arrived back in New York.

"I know you didn't say anyone side is better than the other. If I insulted or insinuated that, then I am sorry."
Looking behind her at Ceon, she awaited his answer-- yet she stretched out her hand and placed it in Meredith's. "I am willing to forgive and forget as well, yet Ceon holds most of the anger for both of us in this."

"Wait a minute-- he was half cyborg. His left arm and right leg are mechanical. He carried a Aka 47, and was dressed in normal wear-- A plain shirt and pants. I'm not sure on the colors, but I hope that helps narrow it down." Jasie took the number handed to her and placed it into the pocket of her black leather pants. "I'll keep you in mind if I see him again-- since no doubt, I would be seeing him sooner rather than later." Jasie knew Meredith would either give her an odd expression or question about that comment, so she beat her to the punch. "He said he'd come and find me later-- well after he fixed the arm Ceon broke of course." Jasie added with a half laugh.

Nodding towards Meredith with equal respect, Jasie felt she was on the right path. That them being here and trying to make peace was impacting both races, either it be peace for future kinds. Jasie felt this was right. Yet it would be a long and hard challenge in reaching their true goal.

"Well now that the whole me being an a** hole's over with I think I'm gonna have to go straighten other things out but oh well. Straightening things out takes time and while I don't have a lot of it I'm sure I have more than enough to do something with my time." And once Jasie looked over to Ceon Meredith did as well, still wondering what was wrong with the lycan since by his very posture she could tell something was amiss with him aside from his injuries. "I guess it's your call," Eden said with a benevolent smile to Ceon, almost sympathetic, "big guy."

"Oh sweet Jesus! Much better! I have lots to go off of now. So he's got the whole idolizing Edward from that Full Metal Alchemist show, ever seen it? I thought it was kind of clever myself. But yeah that definitely narrows it down if he has a mechanical arm and a mechanical leg." Her smile was a little unnerving as she thought of the description but other than that she seemed pretty down to earth though she clearly possessed a temper. "You'd better, I have to make this up to you both after this scene. And if he's planning on partying with you again you'd better invite me along."

Eden gave Jasie a quick wink before looking over to Lydia for two seconds. "Hey thanks for catching a break for me on a bad day ... I'll make sure I don't take out my anger and lose it like this again."

Her gaze then returned to Jasie, her hazel eyes still hiding the hurt but clearly determined to perservere through whatever the hell life tried to throw her way. Both of them, all four of them knew how hard peace was going to be to attain but if four people could do it then hopefully more people could but of course there would likely never be peace or rest. Just illusions of it and a few cracks of light in those dark corners.

Ceon turned to his human form and walked somberly over to his trench coat and slipped it on, ignoring Meredith's question. He didn't want to deal with this now. All he wanted to do was what he did best when he was depressed: drink.

Meredith's gaze passed onto Ceon and she became kind of concerned over the guy since he didn't bother to acknowledge even Jasie which probably wasn't the best sign. "I think your friend's kind of down, he doesn't seem to be fully with it. Well there's another way I can make it up to him, try to cheer him up kind of thing. Anyhow, ring me if you're attacked again and I'll be there presto like magic and be all over that guy." She then began running after Ceon, sprinting quite fast for a human. "Catch you later, Lyds! Wait up, big guy!"

Interesting. yet I hope you can hang with Ceon hunter.
Jasie then looked over at Lyds, wondering if she was going to say something. And if not, Jasie would drift back into the graveyard in search of Zarathose.

Zarathose wandered into the depths of the family crypt and down into the room bearing his name.He laid down on the alter meant for his corpse. He stared at the pattern on the roof and just laid there.

Jasie drifted by Zarathose's crypt and wondered were he ran off to. "Zar?" She paused to listen before repeating his name once again, yet louder. "Zarathose?" She called at the entrance of his family crypt.

Leelan finally made to the graveyard after a few days of being lost. She had no Idea where anything was, or even if she had a home. All she new was the graveyard felt comforting somehow. She found a bench in the middle of the graveyard near a huge broken head stone. It seemed familar to her, so she stared at it and felt a connection with it somehow.

Veroen's eyes popped open suddenly, trying to gasp for air, before realizing that it was just a dream, a dream of all his human memories, which were long forgotten. He then remembered that he indeed was not human, and had not been human for quite some time...

He tried to sit up, knocking his head on what appeared to be lightly colored wood. He silently stared around him, at the confined space that imprisoned him. His recent memories all rushed back to him as he did this. He was completely stunned. One moment he was heading for Las Noches, about to meet up with Alasdair, then he awoke here, in what appeared to be a poorly crafted coffin. He tried to re-assess himself, not knowing what had happened, and how the hell he had gotten into a coffin. He moved his right arm with a little difficulty.

'Hmm...Stiff', he thought to himself.

Apparently he had been in this.. "coffin" ..for quite some time. He punched the top of the coffin, and forced his weight upward, bursting out of the ground. He stood, and moved all of his limbs so he would not be stiff anymore. He silently looked at himself in the reflection of a new shiny tombstone. He was still wearing the same apparrel as the last day he remembered.

He brushed dirt off of his hair. He then realized that his hair had also changed: it was now a silvery white color, as well as slightly longer than it had been. He strared at the reflection in slight wonder. It had once been a crimson color, now it was a light silver. Odd. His senses returned to him, yet they were much stronger than before. Also odd. He checked himself, finding his 2 concealed handguns, as well as his sword.

He looked around quickly, seeing nobody in particular. A girl caught his eye. He eyed her suspiciously. He could tell that she was immortal. He felt somehow compelled to confront her, but decided against it. He had much to discuss with Alasdair. Everything seemed...different somehow.

'How long have i been unconscious...?', he thought to himself.

He took one last look at the girl who seemed to be lost, as she stood next to a large broken tombstone. He then dissapeared into a mass of shadow, leaving the area.

Creeping down into the dark chamber of his crypt, reminded Jasie of a horror movie. Safe now, yet lurking below the surface a rat would scurry by, a corpse would fall through the soil and on top of you. Or bats would flutter and dart out at you screeching. Either way, Jasie loved yet disliked the thoughts of either one. But she made her way regardless of them.
Moving about, Jasie couldn't help but find the history of his family intriguing. Who were these people? Who was Zarathose really?
Every door she passed, an air of excitement rushed though her veins and she couldn't stop. She just had to reach out and touch things-- to feel them underneath her fingers. With her eyes closed, she tried to picture what it was like-- what Zarathose's childhood was like.
Was is filled with happiness and joy, rough times, pressure to make his parent proud... or despair?
