The girl never took her eyes off the glass. Once the vase appeared, she squinted, trying to realise where it had come from. Coming from gaia, people creating something out of nothing wasn't anything new, but it filling up with water certainly was. Her smile extended as much as it could, holding the de-shaveled flowers tightly against her dungarees.
"Wow..." She whispered under her breath, before smiling on up towards him. One problem - the flowers were still dead. Not that it mattered to her. Now, that certainly was just as good as her mothers magic, if not more impressive.

Now put the flowers in, Thea
*Tavin hoped this would work, he wanted so very much to give Thea something special. Something she could remember him by... But he hadn't done this for a long, long time. He wasn't certain what, if any, angelic power he still had left**

Carefully, she leant forwards. Standing up on tip toes, she slipped the flowers into the vase. Unluckily for some, she was smaller than her mother, so reaching up to her fathers hand wasn't exactly any easy feet. Biting down onto her lip, she slid back onto her heels as the dead daisies sloshed into the vase.
"There, and they're in. Now you can put that on the bar!" She exclaimed, pointing towards the bar. She couldn't quite see ontop of it, but she didn't see anything decorating it straight off.

*Tavin cuts her short*
Watch the vase, Thea.
*Tavin closed his eyes and spoke in a soothing tone, strange words*
Althom maas mar eln uld oth usta llum daar peth int
*Tavin opened his eyes wide and looked to the sky*
Lord, return life once more to your creations, that they may engender a moment of happiness in the life of a suffered innocent. Allow me, your servent to work this in your name
*There is a shimmering in the air and a ghostly Halo appears over Tavin's head, and two ghostly wings stretch from his back, unfolding their massive wingspan. Suddenly, an electricity seems to fill the air, and the dead daisies spring back to life, as if soaking up the essence of life through the water. The stems slowly turn a bright green color, and the petals, wilted, open once more and shine brightly. The Halo and wings fade from Tavin, but the flowers remain, alive and healthy*

ooohh...
:::She lets a breathe escape in awe, watching her Captain. What strange things he said. Who was he serving? She recalled having heard of a religion, where people with fowl-like apendiges were said to be the servants of God. It all sort of fit into place. Those must be what angels were. She never really understand what everyone meant when they called Tavin that, but now she knew:::
:::She went back to watching, the sad smile returning:::

The girl took a step back, watching his rather ghostly wings and halo form around him. Biting down hard onto her lip, she kept her gaze settled on the vase infront of her. She wasn't about to look off, he wasn't bad, he wasn't the same people that had came all those months ago. This was her Dad, not some wacked out guy intent on taking her brother away from them.
She almost jumped out of her skin as the sudden jolt spilt the silence, watching as the flowers regained their former glory. Her eyes widened out to the size of saucers, head cocking to one side as the whiteness of the soft petals returned.
Silent only for a few more moments, the girl clapped, shifting back over towards her father. "Thats amazing!" She utter happily, spinning around on the spot.

*Tavin smiled warmly at his daughter, and took one of the flowers out and tucked it gently in her hair, over her ear*
There you go. And the other two we'll keep up her on the counter, okay? A beautiful gift from my beautiful little Thea.

:::Cora sighed quietly... perhaps this was the time to step out. She put a foot out, and then her shoulder, but didn't have the heart just yet to go futher. She let her neck stick out, and half her face could be seen as she pressed her fingers to the side of the hallway passage::::

"Thank you!" She couldn't help but pad right on forwards, wrapping her arms tightly around his back. Her little hands latched onto the back of his jacket as he tucked the small flower behind one ear. For once, she was happy, the little neko purring once more - which certainly wasn't a quiet sound.
"Then you can look at those and remember us back at home," Finally, she tugged on his sleeve. Glancing up at the two flowers left in the vase, Thea's tail wagged - something she'd learnt from a friend of hers apparently. Neither ears nor tail were ever still, twitching or flicking one way or another.
"You'll return soon, right?" She questioned once more. Not knowing her hope was a rather dismal prospect. She heard it though, one large ear twitching at the slight sound, swiveling her gaze around towards where she thought the slight noise had come from.

:::She flushed a little as her smile broadened fully. Her head hung a little out of embarassment as she came over, not stopping her from looking pleased though:::
I'm sorry... I didn't mean to interupt at all...
:::She arrived beside them and knelt down so she could be at Thea's level. She'd never seen a child in the Brink, let alone a cat child:::
Hello Thea... I'm Cora. You're very beautiful.
:::She sort of spoke for Thea's brother:::

The girl stayed firmly against her Dad, almost afraid of moving incase he'd go again. Thea's smile stayed a full and happy one as the woman bent down to her size. She shifted one trainer to the other, before offering out her hand to Cora. Her gaze studied her over for a few moments, wondering exactly what happened with the strange clothing, maybe she was doing fancy dress just like those people had the other week in Barton.
"I'm Thea, Nice ta meet you," She spoke, large ears twitching. One thing was certain for nekos, their ears were always rather large and didn't grow much, so at a younger age they seemed almost out of proportion to her whole body.
"Thank you....Mum's prettier though, Your very pretty yourself," The girl commented, always polite. She spoke of her mother fondly, dipping back into a slightly more casual tone, before ending on that last remark. This woman was nice, just like the customers, and Dad seemed to know her.

Oh yes...
:::Cora nodded. The only thing strange about Cora speaking with a child is that she didn't dawn the voice people normally do when they speak to children. Cora was just talking to a little adult:::
I've met your mother, too. You're going to look just like her one day. :::She paused to look at Tavin:::
And your brother looks like your father...
