The little girls eyes could have popped right out of her head. She stood frozen to the spot for a few moments, gazing down towards this man. Her mum had spoken about him so much, and tended to talk about him all the time. Not quite believing his words for a few moments, she thought over it in her head.
"But..." Never being one for a thinker, she girl gave up at that. She threw herself down upon the man on the floor with a happy giggle, throwing her arms around his neck. Thea was apparently one to believe anything.
"Is it really you? Mum talks about you all the time!" The little girl started, not being able to get her words out fast enough. Her own purple eyes met with her Dads, a large smile resting from one black ear to the other.

The little girl refused to let go for a few moments, brimming all over. Finally, she settled down, his words settleing in slowly. Her shoulders finally slouched, her gaze resting back into her lap. The happy moment was spoiled, things at home were foul, and neither had a clue where her older brother lived now.
"My brother?...I havn't seen him in ages, we don't know where he is....and Mum? Were going around the whole of gaia looking for him," She concluded. Deciding he might as well know the truth, she pulled her right sleeve right up towards her shoulderblade. Sure enough, there was a marking imprinted in her skin of a hourglass - the sand having almost fallen through to the bottom.
"Strange people came ages ago...Mum doesn't like to talk about it" She finally spoke with a sad note, her voice trailing off into a whisper.

:::Cora's heart skipped a beat. They DID surivive, and they were safe... well, at least a little while after they'd been seperated. She wondered how old Thea was... she couldn't resist anymore, she had to look...:::
:::Cora's head peered out to where the two of them where knelt, and she saw the little girl from afar. Indeed looking just like her brother would have if he were that age:::

"But...But were fine...." She hated to see people like this. Used to cheering her mother up, she dug around in her pocket. She'd been picking daisies again apparently, bringing her palm out which now contained three damp and rather flimsy daisies.
"We've not found him yet, but we will, you'll see. Oh...I picked these by the well yesterday, I was gonna give them to Mum but you need them more...." She spoke every so sweetly. She was still innocent, and rather naive of exactly what was happening. Trying her best to coax a smile again, her tail flickered a little at the white tipped end.
"It doesn't hurt, really." She whispered, taking the subject back into hand as she pointed at her shoulderblade. The heads of the daisies flopped lifelessly in her hand, seeming quite old all together.

*Tavin looked back up at Thea, tears running down his cheeks. He wiped them away and smiled*
Of course... We'll all be together again, someday. We'll be a family again. We..
*Tavin couldn't go on. He took the daisies in his hand and stood up*

:: razz eeking out again... was the Captain crying? She wanted to go out and see Thea up close, to tell her that her brother was safe... The thought occured to her though that she'd be telling Thea the future...was that allowed? Was that supposed to happen? In a way, just existing was telling people about the future... was it the same?
But she hesitated, she didn't want to interupt them... perhaps if she just gave it another moment. Cora was torn:::

"A family?" She questioned it herself for a few moments, her only family had always been herself and her mum, and her brother of course. She'd like a Dad around though, someone to call a father figure. A tiny purr escaped from the back of her throat.
As he stood up, she picked herself on up to her feet, eyes still at awe at even gazing up towards 'dad'. Finishing off her sentence, she beamed once more up towards him. "I'd like that, you can make Mum smile again,"
"Magic? Mum does magic! Please! Can you really do Magic like Mum, Dad?" She questioned, suddenly rather hyper about the situation. As soon as the word magic had been mentioned, the girl lit up, eyes shining brightly as she gazed on up towards him. It didn't matter to her, that he hadn't been around for so long, the thought of asking him so many questions she'd always wanted to ask slipping as fast as the seconds slid by.

Very slowly, Thea extended her hands out, taking the dead flowers in her palms. She gazed on up towards him, a curious smile spread over her face. Different to Mums? Well, a lot of people had magic, she'd seen that - how much different could it be? I mean there was that guy last week in the inn that had controled fire, maybe he could control the elements like Mum could?
"Different?" She questioned, determined to find the answers. Clutching onto the plants, her large tail flicked happily behind her, large ears now dropping back to their usual place adorning her head - no longer clinging to her hair.
