Julius nodded. "I agree with you. It's time to step things up a bit. I just wanted you to see a bit from Fir's perspective. As much as he'll deny it, he's still very much a kid in Korred terms. Anyway, I better go talk to him. Maybe I can persuade him. He tends to listen to me the best out of anyone else her. Just take it easy Eara. You've proven yourself to me several times over."

The aide nodded. Hikkori knew better than to argue with Aoki. He closed the door after the new Ou left, smiling as he crossed his arms. "Konbanwa, Watari-kun..." he chuckled softly, stepping on his shoulders until he was face-down on the floor. "I'm going to ask you a question multiple times. Until you say yes, we're going to make this as drawn out and excruciating as possible. Let's begin: Are you loyal to Aoki-sama?"
Eara softened a great deal. She looked very tired herself, but at the same time very relieved. "Thank you, Julius..." she whispered softly, sitting back down on the floor. "Y..You really have no idea how much that means to me. I won't forget this." She still seemed a bit distant and sad, but she had gone through a great deal of stress the past few days. "I'm glad someone sees it..."
Kaguyo led her group of rebels inside, absolutely silent. While she didn't realize that their invasion wasn't secret, so far, there was no sign of it being any other way. "You three, take the passage through that cell." she whispered softly, "That leads to the Ou's room. You six, take the main stairway, take out any guards you find. Be quick but silent. Kakui-kun and I are going in the passage with the others. We'll take over the Ou's hall, get Watari-kun and Su-kun and get the hell out. We can't take Aoki-san without Su-kun...." She was worried, but it hardly showed.
But there was a reason for this. Aled had plenty of the serum left over from his earlier research; one of the aids had seen to dosing Ainsu with plenty of this. He was a powerful fighter and figurehead even now; his cooperation was preferable to his death. At least like this, they had yet another weapon against Kaguyo, even if she didn't know it. "All of this is going to seem like a bad dream... such a shame, that Kaguyo abandoned you for Aled-sama... Such a shame... She doesn't deserve your pity, or your kindness, Ainsu-san." He was planting the seeds now. By the time Aoki returned with her, they would have found very deep roots within the playwright's mind.

Watari grimaced slightly. Apparently Aoki's aids had more muscle to them (and ki) than the scientist had previously thought. "Iie." he replied. "I am loyal to five and five alone. Aoki can get struck by lightning for all I care."
~ ~ ~
"Urusai..." Ainsu whispered, his eyes closed as he felt himself hiding away that part of his mind which was rational. Which knew the truth... "I won't be Aoki's puppet..." he eyes blazed at the aide. "I'll rip my arm off first... allow it to destroy you all... it would be quite the end."

Julius gently patted the woman on the shoulder. "Just take a break for a bit, Little Rose," he said kindly. "You deserve it and God knows you need it.I'll try and talk some sense into Fir."

The aide shook his head. "Iie, Ainsu-kun.... She's coming to throw you out of power so she can bring Aled-sama back. I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but she's quite the actress, isn't she? She's more adept at lying than you even know... She's a politician, Ainsu, what did you expect?"
Hikkori just laughed softly, before his ki started singing through Watari's jacket and into his flesh. Smoke rose up in bitter tendrils, his skin and flesh hissing as it burned. "Are you loyal to Aoki-sama?" he asked again. "We can do this all day, Watari-kun, trust me. I have time."
The bands had split up. While the 6 arrived in the halls, blasting their way through everything, Kaguyo and her team had somehow become seperated in the passages. "s**t..." she shook her head, "I think they went right, Kakui-kun...." "I wouldn't doubt it," he agreed, before pushing the passage open. They were somewhere hauntingly familiar to the woman. "Wait a second, this is..." she blinked, climbing out with widening eyes. Before she could say another word, the man had slipped a Tarnbjin ability cuff over her wrist, backing away. "Gomen nasai, Kaguyo-chan..." he closed his eyes. "It was a matter of life or death.... Aoki-sama! I've brought her like you asked!" They were in the wing on the third floor, the one reserved strictly for those about to be executed. The woman had grown very pale, but she still had the ki-blasting gun. She started shooting and flying, desperate to find her way out of this betrayal.
Eara thought for a while, but shook her head. "No... I don't need a break." she sighed. "I need something to do. C'mon. We'll go back to base, and figure this stuff out, alright?"
Morrigan however had noticed someone's voice finally cracking through in the electronics lab. "Po-kun, what's that???" Watari's transmission was finally coming through.

Julius smiled. "Alright. But try not to go too crazy on Fir. The more you yell at him, the more he digs his heels in. He is very much a teenager in that respect."

Eara smiled slightly. "I'm going to take the equally teenage approach: ignore him entirely." she answered. "I'm not speaking another word to him until something gets done... Not even an insult, or a gasp of surprise. He's not getting anything out of me. He can dig his heels in, fine. I can dig too."
Kazuhiko thought for a while, silent. "I'd be worried if I was them." he agreed. "They're not exactly on my list of favorite people.... So what happened to YOUR children? Do you have any offspring's offspring's offspring's offspring you think would be fun for me to play with?"

Kylan smiled. "My children lived their alloted time on the earth. And you would have to talk to my mother. She's the one that's religiously kept track of all her descendnets." -----
Julius shook his head. "Lovely. Well, then, Little Rose, let's go confer with the Rat King."

Ainsu smirked slightly, unable to get to the aid due to the cell and the cuffs on his wrists. "Kaguyo would not betray me." he whispered. "Besides... Aled can't return... at least not right now... It would take a few days, after all." He was trying to be logical, to beat this drug with truth... But eventually, the playwright knew, he would fail.
~ ~ ~
Closing his eyes and gritting his teeth, Watari refused to speak. He shook his head, squirming beneath Hikkori's boot. He wouldn't give in... No matter what happened... He couldn't betray them...
~ ~ ~
A blast of ki from the shadows knocked Kaguyo's gun away. "I don't think so, Kaguyo." Aoki spoke, stepping forward and suddenly appearing before the woman, grasping her wrists. "And you thought you could defeat me... Well done, Kakui... You'll be handsomely rewarded for this."
~ ~ ~
Turning from listening to Kazuhiko, Po-ar frowned. "It sounds like a transmission." he spoke before dashing into the room. After a few moments, Watari's voice came over, loud and clear. "That's a problem..." Aled whispered once they heard the message.

Kaguyo's eyes widened even further, the woman struggling violently. "Kisama!!!" she shouted, "Kakui, how could you?!!! How COULD you?!!!" "Life or death, Kaguyo-chan..." he sighed, but it was clear he felt very guilty about all this. "I don't want a reward, Aoki-sama. I shouldn't be rewarded for something like this." She still had her ki, however. Kakui hadn't been quick enough to get the other one on. She unleashed as much ki as she could against Aoki, not willing to give up just yet.
"Answer me!" Hikkori growled, dragging the dagger down his back. "Are you loyal to Aoki-sama or not?!"
The aide smiled. "Smart... but you don't understand, Ainsu-sama. Everyone's against you. Everyone. Po-ar will be here before long. When he arrives here, we're going to kill him, because he wants to topple Aoki-sama and you. But don't you worry. When Aled returns, he'll be eliminated as well. Whether you believe it or not, Kaguyo is Aled's wife. She never wanted the divorce."
Morrigan looked to Po-ar in alarm. "What are we going to do???" she asked quietly, breathless. "We need to hurry and help them! We don't have any time to waste!"

Strangely however... the ki attack bounced off of Aoki. The man laughed, "I forgot to mention... I found a wonderful little device in Watari's lab... blocks ki attacks aimed at my person." he smirked. "Brilliant, ne?" Quickly, he clamped a ki restraining cuff on Kaguyo... before promptly throwing her to the ground so hard, she had a dent in the stone. "Come now, Kakui... Your family will be spared my wrath, and you will be awarded whatever you please."
~ ~ ~
"IIE!" Watari cried out, gasping for breath as he tried to focus on something else. Anything to distract him from the pain. He was hardly a warrior, after all...
~ ~ ~
Ainsu shook his head, "Lies... nothing more than lies..." he whispered, trying to keep hold of his love for Kaguyo. It was the single thing keeping his mind intact...
~ ~ ~
"Problem with that being this," Po-ar spoke up quickly. "If things are that bad... how are we going to stop them?" Aled shook his head, "Aoki's strong, but I know his weakness. Kazuhiko helped me to devise a plan on getting rid of him. We can defeat them."

Kaguyo cried out in pain and shock, groaning as she tried to sit up. It hurt to move. Kakui looked to her, and shook his head. "Iie, Ou-sama... Just being spared from your wrath is generous enough for me. I need no more than that. It is what any citizen should do, anyhow." It was a good excuse. "Your high thinking of me is award enough." "K...kisama..." Kaguyo groaned, trying to sit up. A few aids came into the room, whisking her away. She had to be prepared for execution, after all. Her makeup and jewelry was removed, her clothes replaced with a white death kimono. The only ornamentation she had were her cuffs, left barefoot and waiting in a small cell.
Hikkori smiled, repeating the gesture down his spine, being careful not to damage it and paralyze him. "Are you loyal to Aoki-san, Watari-kun?" he asked again. "Say yes, and all this will stop. Just say yes."
The other aid chuckled softly. "Iie, iie... you are so blind.... The only reason she stayed here with you was to assist Aled in retaking the thrown. She still has the ring, doesn't she? She's Aled's wife, not your girlfriend. She abandoned you here. Instead of running like you told her to, she should've stayed... but she didn't care. She doesn't care about you Ainsu. She's a traitor. She's going to be executed... and you're going to oversee it."
Morrigan nodded. "Alright. I'll go get Kazu-kun... but we have to wait until sunset to make sure Kitaria's alright. Perhaps we should focus on saving Kaguyo, Ainsu and Watari first. I don't think they should be left there any longer---but it will take days for Aoki to get here. Killing him can wait a day. Their lives cannot. It'll be hard for Kazuhiko to find their souls for resurrection in that tree of yours."
Kazuhiko nodded. "Ok. I will when she wakes up." he smiled.
Eara nodded. "Sounds fine to me."

Aoki rose an eyebrow at Kakui. "To refuse my generosity, is to refuse me, Kakui." he warned.
~ ~ ~
"IIE!" Ainsu shouted, grabbing his head with one hand. "I won't... I won't harm her!" His will was beginning to break. Between the aid, the drug, and his enraged muse... The playwright hardly stood a chance.
~ ~ ~
"I highly doubt Aoki will come to Earth." Aled put in helpfully. "His goal is Tarnbsei. Until he has control of it, fully... he'll focus his attention on our home." Po-ar nodded, "I agree... and as much as I'd like to get Watari and Ainsu and Kaguyo out of harm's way... I don't dare open a portal there until we're ready to fight full on. Aoki'll notice right away, and more than likely stop me from being able to get back here."
~ ~ ~
Watari did the only thing he could think to do... He... became a she... The scientist was hoping that Hikkori would think it had been all an illusion. That Watari was off somewhere else, hiding. His powers were completely unknown, after all... "TOMERU!" Watari cried out, shivering in agony and hoping that Hikkori would take pity on a 'victim of an illusion'. "ONEGAI! TOMERU!!!"

Hikkori stumbled backwards, blinking a few times. "N...N..Naniyo?!!" he shook his head, rolling Watari over. "You...You're a women! But... but Watari-kun...." He was falling for it perfectly..
Morrigan nodded grimly. "Let's hope we aren't too late then." she sighed deeply. "We wait."
The aide shook his head. "Hai, Ainsu-san, you will. Kaguyo has betrayed both Aoki-sama and you. It's only proper she be executed for treason. The masses hate her... she's connected to Aled. The people need to be freed from that, and as long as she's around they'll always hate you. She isn't loyal to you, Ainsu. She loves Aled. She was going to bear his child, until Aoki-san made her trip down the stairs... He was in her, and she hadn't the slightest clue!" he laughed softly. "Without him, she would have never even considered returning to you. You must execute her yourself."
Kakui nodded. "I want to be financially taken care of for the rest of my life, along with my descendants." he decided. "Arigatou gozaimasu, Aoki-sama."

"Let me go, onegai!" Watari begged, 'her' hands in a praying clasp in front of her. "Onegai! I... I didn't do anything! Onegai! Onegai!"
~ ~ ~
Po-ar sighed, "I hate to wait... but it can't be helped... Kami-sama, I'm going to regret this if one of them is killed..."
~ ~ ~
The playwright found himself curled up against the wall and floor of his cell, knees pulled to his chest, forehead resting on one hand. "Onegai... Boku wa... Boku wa..." But he couldn't bring himself to say anything. Ainsu's mind was beginning to cloud over and, as much as he wanted to save Kaguyo... he feared that if he couldn't save himself... they were all doomed.
~ ~ ~
Aoki smiled, "That's much better, Kakui." he replied lightly. "You did quite a good job... Now... if you could infiltrate the rebellion once more, tell them Kaguyo's been captured. I could have one of the guards rough you up a bit, if you want to make it more realistic."
