Ninja are masters of assasination, not robbing normal people or pillaging village. They accel at hiding in the shadows and killing people without them knowing.I disagree. Ninjas were fantastic assassins, yes. They killed almost everyone they were sent out to kill. However, most ninjas worked in teams of at least two, since they believed that if they were caught, having two of them made it a lot more likely that their target would be killed before the ninjas themselves were executed. This seems to indicate that they weren't necessarily masters of the art.
My point is, ninjas couldn't have been the best in their field. Why? Because they were the most known and feared in all of Japan. If they were known and feared, then a renegade shogun could build up his defenses against them. My point is that the best assassins of all time are the ones that no one knows about. The ones that don't have a form of defense against them.
For all we know, a small union of clowns in Colorado could be the greatest assassins of all time. The only way to know is if they come out of hiding. But then, its a paradox. Now that we know the greatest assassins in the world are a small union of clowns in Colorado, then they aren't the greatest assassins in the world anymore.
...This is making my head hurt.

Don't be a hater veras sad he made an accurate assessment if they were more skilled... their hands and legs would likley be intact and you kind of wonder, did they accidently poke their eyes out.... you know seeing as if you stabbed someone inthe eye with a sword they would... well die makes them seem inept at melee combat... and rather accident prone

It's a stereotype that they all have those. And most of the time they'd get shot and medicine was horrible those days so either they cutt off their limbs or die of gang green. They were also taken off by cannon balls.

There's only a 'international talk like a pirate day' because people are lead by the stereo type that they all talk in that manner(and probably do due to the lack of education most of the pirates obtained). The holiday ridicules their intelligence by branding that image and causing people to talk in that exaggerated manner. Ninjas win.
