he stood slowly "I'll miss you too... and I'm sorry I won't be here to help you" he kissed her again softly "If I wait much longer I won't leave at all... that won't be good"

he kissed her back as he shouldered his bag "lots of sleep and listen to my mom" he kissed her forehead "I'll be home in a week" ans with that he started out

she bit her lip as he left. A few more tears slipped from her eyes. She sat down on his bed and didn't know how she was going to deal with out him.

he giggled again and pointed behind her before clapping
she nodded "I'm gonna go bring her a fresh cup of cider and see how she's doing"

"Okay." He kissed her cheek and let her go.
She picked him up, "What do you see huh?" She wished she knew.
She had grabbed one of his pillows and hugged it. She just wanted to have him hug her.

she headed upstairs and knocked on the door before stepping in "hey... how are you feeling" she set the cider down before sitting on the bed and rubbing her head softly
he pointed again and looked at her as if to say 'come on, you don't see the goofy man right in front of us?' "behh"

"You see someone buddy?" She reached out a little.
"I miss him." It came out muffled from the pillow.

"we do too" she said softly "come on, sit up and have some cider. You should come watch some TV with us"
he reached in to the cold spot were his great grandfather was and giggled some more
