I think I may have figured out my problem with my team... I had too many Pokemon that were weak against Lightning. "Pain is only a pulse... My Electivire also has some ungodly coverage for an Electric Type Pokemon. With Wild Charge, Ice Punch, Cross Chop, and EQ, he's fairly unstoppable. ...if you just stop feeling it"
