Kaguyo cursed, but did as Ainsu said. It wasn't hard to hit the guards, but both she and Su-kun understood that there was nothing she could do. Aoki was going to break the bone apart, and when that power was unleashed... Chaos would be everywhere. Aoki would have to blame someone, and it would fall upon Ainsu and Kaguyo without question. Once they saw Ainsu's arm, it would only seem more true. She sprinted down the hall, breathless. The others had been captured; she had to free them. Aoki would escape whatever damage done from Ainsu, she knew that much. Once Ainsu was taken care of, he'd need her to sedate him. She took to flying like a bullet towards the exit, hoping to escape into the winter cold.

A radio was in Aoki's hand but seconds later. "Kill Kaguyo." he ordered into the radio. "I don't care how you do it, but kill her, and bring her body here." "AOKI! TOMERU!" Ainsu pleaded. "You can't do this!" But the Tarnb-jin simply smirked. "Of course I can..."

Kylan smiled. "Oh, I'm not terribly worried. Once my mother wakes up, well then it might be kinder to worry about whoever was supplying Herne." ----
"You know how Fir is," Julius said slowly, noting the tone in the woman's voice. "Though he's been having a rough time lately. Kitaria has been giving him a rather...rough time. About what he already leaked, about what she thinks he and the rest of the Fir Darrigs should be doing...He's not a soilder or a frontman and he knows it, but he's expected to do so by you, by Kitaria, now by Badb and Po-ar and Morrigan and everyone else. He'll hotly deny it, but Fir's worried sick. For himself, and more importabtly, for the rest of the Fir Darrigs and how much the kids can afford to have him invloved. We've already had a tradegy when Fir went to open and pushed to hard and several members died. Kazuhiko's already been askign questions about them. Fir doesn't want to make the same mistake again." -------
"Of course," Fir said, though he made no move to do such thing. "But first I think I shall take a nap."

But unfortunately for Aoki, Kaguyo was a very, very good shot with her new toy. Anyone who even came remotely near her was decimated; she wasn't playing games. She was beginning to build up her powers, the winter becoming even more harsh and buffeting... But only in the forests, where she hid. She had led the majority of the guards south to the hills, and between her gun, lightning, the wind, trees, flying sticks, she and her rebels made mincemeat of all of them. "Su-kun." she picked up a radio, speaking into it, "Daijoubu. It's going to take a lot more than that to kill me, Aoki-san." she promised. "You may claim yourself Ou, but the people are devoted to me. Good luck with trying to take them. So long as I live and wish it, they will follow me, Aoki, and there is nothing you can do about it." She quickly crushed the device, and started ordering the base out. They began the journey into the mountains, most flying; she lingered towards the back. For anyone that tried to follow, they would find a nearly impenetrable blizzard ready to meet them. She wouldn't let this revolution die so soon. For now they had to go into hiding. The other cells were beginning to revive themselves across the planet; before long, she'd have an entire army, all completely able to operate without her lead. They had planned for revolution for 11 years... Her only surprise was that it wasn't against Aled.

"I don't think so." Itachi replied, grabbing Fir by the wrist. "Unlock the door. I haven't the time for games."

"Kisama..." Ainsu smirked slightly, "She'll destroy you, Aoki. She..." But another harsh twist of the knife kept the playwright from speaking again. "BRING ME THE SCIENTIST!" he shouted at his nearest aid. "He's going to help me create an army of my own..."

Of course, Kaguyo knew the mountains better than anywhere else on the planet. Where everyone else saw impenetrable, imposing, lifeless peaks, she saw a retreat, a fortress, protection. Sure, means of food weren't exactly stocked up, but no one had expected what had happened the past few days, Kaguyo especially.
Inside the caves, there was much activity going on. A group of people with radios and transmitters were contacting the other groups; revolution was spreading like wildfire. With this many people.. "We're going to storm the palace en-masse." she ordered---she was still in her nightgown, she only just remembered. A woman brought her clothes, pants and a kimono-like top both deep purple in color. She sat down, a few other attendants working on her makeup. She was the Queen, after all, she had to be able to rally her people. While dressed in common clothes---what she was most comfortable in, admittedly---she wanted them to know she was still strong and collected despite the pandemonium. She would lead them fearlessly. "Kakui-kun, any word from the other cells?" "We have 300 people ready to fight at your command, Oujou-sama." he answered, looking back. "They're all waiting for your say-so." She sighed, rising to her feet. "Tell them we leave in 15 minutes." she answered. "Aoki-san wouldn't expect me to come immediately back again. We can't leave Su-kun there..." She was clearly very, very worried for his safety. "We have little time to waste. Hayaku. We go now."

Fir smirked and waved his hand. There was an audible "click" of a door unlocking. A door that had never been locked to begin with. It was good to be King.

Of course, Aoki was more on top of things than Kaguyo or Ainsu had guessed. "She's calling the forces together. Our moles in the factions are ensuring that everything's being taken care of...." Hikkori stepped inside, arms crossed, his dark hair shadowing his face. He was smirking widely. "If the Oujou thinks a mere 300 people is going to be enough, she'll be sorely mistaken.... Guards are arresting and imprisoning faction members as we speak, Aoki-sama. We're already cut her forces in half... Once the Oujou is vulnerable, our spies in her division will capture and bring her back. You do realize, however, that the people will revolt behind her.... We need to make an example of what happens to traitors."
"We have a problem Oujou-sama." Kakui spoke up, brown eyes meeting with hers. "We're not going to have enough people ready in time. I, I don't know how, but, but they're finding us, shooting and arresting entire cells on the spot. I've lost communication with cell 202 and 785---they're the bombing divisions, Oujou-sama." "I know." Kaguyo grew grim and quiet, thinking. "Radio the others. Warn that they might have traitors... even we might..." she rubbed her temples. "Bakayaro... I should have killed him.... Ok. Kakui-kun, mobilize the 333, 334 and 289. We need the ki-fighters to start dealing with the guards and traitors... I want the empaths finding out who's lying and who's loyal. They'll know. Get the 461, 288 through 295 and.... let's see, to back up the guns and ki... Get the fire-throwers." she nodded, "Squad 777, 025 and 666. Have them assist them, and start wiping the guards out. I'm going to lead an attack on the palace myself... I'll need the Youma-Squad, 444, and the Cold Shoulders for fire and ice. We need to make the weather worse, utilize the cities for cover, and more or less blind our enemies. You think you can handle that?" Kakui only smiled. "Hai, Oujou-sama, no problem." For the first time in a long while, Kaguyo was grateful she'd been in the army. Kakui had been a team mate from then; a brother, promoted quite quickly during the war. She could have been a general.... No, instead, she was reduced to women's work, locked away and out of sight. She noticed someone beside Kakui acting suspiciously; Kakui keenly picked up on this, before kicking the man to the ground. "You were right, Oujou-sama... Spy." Kakui growled, holding him at gunpoint. He tossed her a radio. "Slick..." she spoke into it, clearly pissed. "But don't worry, Aoki-no-baka... for all your spies, we have more Tarnbjins willing to kill them. Tell them to try and be more discreet for now on." The sound of a gunshot and a short-lived scream rang through back to Ainsu and Aoki. Kaguyo was a lot more dangerous and powerful than she had let on... Power didn't always have to be with ki, after all.

Itachi bowed, "Arigatou gozaimasu." she said, turning quickly and heading for the door.

"And we will make a perfect example out of Kaguyo and Watari." Aoki replied, easing up on the knife in Ainsu's arm. "Take him away," he ordered Hikkori. "And bring me the scientist... I have a few questions he needs to answer." Ainsu would have jumped at this chance for escape, but he knew it was useless. Especially with only one hand to defend himself with.

Hikkori nodded, dragging Ainsu away by his arm and hair. Another aide brought Watari in, throwing the scientist to the floor. "The Oujou is on the move." he alerted Aoki. "I'd expect her here in less than 20 minutes." Ainsu, on the otherhand, was tossed into a room and locked within.
About fifteen minutes later, Kaguyo was ready to go, armed with her whips and the ki-gun. "Kakui-kun... I...I'm really glad that... that I could count on you for this... I don't really talk to anyone from then..." The man nodded sadly. "Of course, Kaguyo-chan..." he rose to his feet, checking his weaponry. "This is a matter of life and death to me." He meant it literally. Kaguyo nodded again, but there was no room for talking anymore. She and her divisions started creeping their way through the city, Kakui following after the rest.

Watari pushed himself to his feet, his gaze locking with Aoki. "You tried to warn Aled... didn't you?" The scientist nodded. "I am loyal to the Ou." Aoki smirked, "I am Ou now, Watari-kun... and I would suggest you pledge your allegiance to me." But Watari shook his head, "I am loyal to five only, Aoki. Aled-sama... Ainsu-sama... Kaguyo-chan... Po-ar-sama... and Kazuhiko-sama. They alone garner my..." But before he could finish his sentence, Aoki had backhanded him. The blow was hard enough to know the scientist to the ground. "Then you'll be dealt with as any traitor... You and Kaguyo will be the first to fall victim to this new world." he laughed, "A public execution will be in order, I think." Strangely enough however, this did nothing to frighten Watari. "What good is living when you intend to release the Muse on this world, hmm? I'll be dead either way. One will just come a bit sooner than the other." Angered by his statement, Aoki looked to Hikkori. "I want Watari to pledge his loyalty to me, Hikkori-san. See that he gets the proper motivation. I wouldn't want such a genius to go to waste. At least... not quite yet..."

Eara raised an eyebrow. "If you're the best at something, you have to come to expect these things." she shrugged softly. "He's never going to be able to keep everyone completely safe----it's a fact of life that people are going to die, that life will take twists and turns that you didn't see coming. It's a fact of life." she thought quietly. "He's clearly learned from the past, right...? He's avoiding those pitfalls well enough. But if he wants the twins to join, he needs to stop shoving them off on me and do something himself. Badb isn't going to tolerate this. Those kids need to learn illusions, bottom line----if he's worried about everything, well, solve it!" she shook her head. "Having sex left and right does what? Nothing. It doesn't get us anywhere, it doesn't lead us anywhere, and everyone is left wondering what the hell is going on!" She was running her fingers through her hair, sighing and tugging on it from time to time. "Hell.... I've been shoved off to do the same thing over and over again when I can't do anything else, Jules. Literally! I can't, do, anything else to teach those kids. I have nothing. He doesn't even have a clue how powerful those two are---they're humans, and they're making mincemeat of of something that took me TWO DECADES to pick up! Morrigan's been dead for the past week---even if she wanted to teach them, she won't have the energy for another few days. If they want Thom to be sane again, he's going to need to show Her that he's learned from his teachers. If one of those people won't give him the time of day... Well, Fir's basically damned him." she rose to her feet. "He cares about his rats so much, he should take care of them, not just who he seeks to draw into his bed." There. She had said it. She had tossed down the gauntlet and spoken her mind. "I am more than willing to be a Rat, Jules, don't get me wrong.... But I almost died protecting those two... I'm stuck teaching them... I'm still a damn newbie! What more do I have to do to prove myself?? My time is being wasted when I could actually be DOING something!"
Hikkori smiled. "And how exactly would you like me to go about that?" he asked, tilting his head. "We have to be delicate with him... he's fragile, unlike our former Ou and Oujou. I already have the flags raised for possible execution..." he added, "And in fact, our dear Oujou is just outside the outer palace walls.... annnd.... in they sneak." he smiled sagely. "They'll be making their way up here in 10 minutes or less Ou-sama... See? Much easier to bring her to us than to hunt her down. Palace entering lockdown..." he hit a few keys on a small data pad. "Suppose the scientist will be alright if we cut up his back and legs. We should at least leave him his hands."

"He'll need his hands, maybe his legs as well, unless you want to search for a hoverchair." Aoki replied, straighting his clothes and sheathing the knife. "I suppose I should greet Kaguyo... no doubt she's got quite the entourage... Do as you will with Watari, just make sure he decides it's in his best interests to stay alive."
