In the inner wall of Deep Water, the normal hum of noise turned into a vicious cycle of screams and generic panic. It seems that a cockatrice had broken into the sewers and into the main street through an open manhole. The creature was terrified of all the little things running around him, he simply struck out in a panic. People were petrified all about the street, leaving a geniune sense of fear in the locals. The malitia tried to round up the creature, but failed to trap it, as it could fly over them or turn them to stone with so much as a grasing hit from its beak.
Several hours passed before the creature managed to escape the city, causing a tremendous amount of damage in the process. An investigation into the matter showed that most of the old sewer system was openly exposed to the wilds beyond the walls of the city, and practically any creature that walked by could stroll into them, thinking of them as nothing more than tunnels in the Dark.
In the sewer they found a few small tribes of goblins, and several large roache animals that were often used by subterranian creatures as livestock.

A tremor ran through the city of Honorsfield, knocking over many of the smaller homes and causing some minor damage to the pallisade and keep. The quake was followed by a small avalanche which caused some of the stalagmites to fall from he cavern roof. A drow hoping to destory the city could not hope for more of a coincidence to occure, but due to hte cities proximity to the river and he vulcanic activity underneath the majority of Deep Water. IT was like the gods wanted the drow to succeed, or that the humans were really really stupid when chosing a location for their city. The natural dissasters that were iminate here probably would account for the loss of order to begin with. No matter how great a king was, he could not protect his people from the weather, and often he would suffer for it.

That kind of took her off guard but she kept her posture firm and nodded, "Yes I suppose I will." Clearly he wasn't intending anything or he might have warned her about it. She wasn't completely sure and didn't want to underestimate him. He'd shown once before that he was fully capable of subduing her if he felt she was out of line. There was one major difference between him and Malik though. Malik had never helped her back up and brushed her off after knocking her to the ground. He'd never shown even a smidgen of concern for her well being, pregnant or not. Seh didn't believe the blue potion he'd given her in Andal was of his own doing. It smacked of Piper's influence. For now though she could do no more than search his face for some sign though there was none there of what he was thinking or planning. Gritting her teeth she huffed out a breath and glanced towards the stairway she'd head down to meet Arthur in the arena. It was just a little fight and it wasn't like anything was going to happen. She wasn't that stupid, right? Still she hesitated, completely unsure of her footing on this new bridge he'd laid for her to cross. Should she tempt danger and possible retribution, or remain on the safe side of the cliff?

He merely watched her as she stood there...why was she just standing there? This was a little strange...it was almost as if she was stalling. But why would she be stalling? After all, he wasn't stupid...he knew that she would like more than anything to go match magic with someone who she could really get into it with. But no, he wasn't going to stop her. Yet she still stood there with him. "Something the matter?"

Glancing up in surprise she blinked at him and shook her head. "...no...why? Do you think there's something wrong?" Why was she just standing here like an idiot? She should go meet Arthur and do the fight that she had been craving. Was craving. Had been craving, was right. She wasn't so sure she was anymore. Or maybe she should just take Piper's advice and break china. Sevilin could even help her if he wished. "Want to have some fun?"

It was his turn to blink, and he looked at her as if she had just proposed something completely forgein to him. He knew what fun was, but he probably considered what he thought for fun and what she thought for fun to be two completely different things. Or her idea of fun was going to entail something that annoyed the hell out of him. Yet he wasn't thinking up a good excuse that she wouldn't get upset over.
"Have some fun...with me in accompaniment? When you know I'm no fun at all..." Raising an eyebrow at her as he looked down at her with the questioning that they had both put forth.

Ah but she'd warmed up to her idea now. Nodding she grinned, "I intend to change that. Besides it will most likely keep me from doing something foolish, so come on. Indulge me." Thus she didn't give him a chance to answer just grabbed his hand and pulled him along to the kitchen. Shooing the few slaves away she reached into the cabinets and pulled out a stack of plates and bowls then the smaller plates as well. "Okay. The roof or the arena. Choice is yours. " After a moment of silence she said thoughtfully, "I've done the roof but never the arena..hmm." Then she looked up at him, her eyes shining, waiting for his response. "Well?"

He was slowly slipping into a confused state as he watched her lead him to the kitchen and then start taking out stacks of dishes. Oh yes, he was starting to not get where she was going but he still just stood there. "Roof...or arena..." To do what?
Another blink at her as she was insistant on his answer. His eyes darted from side to side a moment in his decison as if looking into the corners of his brain for the connection that would make this make sense to him. Well...the roof wasn't good for her...she shouldn't be climbing...so. "Arena?"

"Perfect!" She dumped a stack of plates into his hands and grabbed the smaller plates and bowls, lifting them into her arms then headed for the stairs down to the arena. It would be easier to clean up the mess down there too. She would have skipped but that would have been completely un-Zahara like so she didn't. "Come along Sevilin, no need to dawdle." She knew he was confused but it would become clear soon enough. Carefully she took the stairs, well aware of how easy it would be to slip and tumble all the way down to the stone floor beneath. The normal sounds and general creepiness was going on and she made her way quickly to the arena where she saw Arthur leaning against the wall and waiting. Winking at him as she sailed past, she headed in and walked to the middle of the dirt floor and then put her stack down. "Ready?" she asked tilting her head inquisitively.

And now he was suddenly carrying plates and following her as she made her way happily through the place. Why were they taking stacks of dishes downstairs? Let alone to the arena. But he didn't question things thus far...he was slightly curious as to what this was all about. Either she was going to be doing something she shouldn't be doing, or she was planning herself a horribly huge picnic what with the amount of dishes that they had. "I don't dwadle..."
Watching her make her was downstairs carefully he merely looked at the dishes he was holding again and then a passing look to Arthur. Wait did this involve him? Sevilin didn't know anymore. But he sighed and merely stood there, dishes still in hand, as she set hers down. "Ready for what?"

She laughed, "To have fun of course." Spreading her arms wide she spun once to encompass the room and then halted, watching him with her hands on her hips and one eyebrow raised. "Okay, obviously I'm going to have to teach you how it's done. It's pretty simple, the imps showed me." Thus she grabbed his stack and set it down then took one of the plates from the stack. Turning and handing it to him, she stood beside him and gestured towards the wall. "Throw it. But make sure it goes in the air, not just hits the ground or the wall right off. It's more fun that way."

He looked between plate and her a moment before letting his wrist sack some so that the plate threatened to drop out of his hand as it was. Then he raised an eyebrow and looked to her in that 'are you kidding' manner. "You're telling me that you want me to throw a dish and make sure it breaks after it has been thrown." A blink. "Have you lost your mind?"

She couldn't help but giggle at his expression, which was just too funny for words. "Maybe." Then laughing she shook her head. "No, it's a good stress reliever. You throw the dish and I destroy it. Or I throw the dish and you destroy it." She looked at him as though he couldn't get very simple concepts. "It's all in the name of fun. And before you say anything, I have permission to do this." Then she took the plate from him, tossed it high up into the air and watched it start to free fall. Before it could hit the ground a stream of magical fire shot out and it shattered from the impact. She watched it fall to the ground in pieces with a satisfied grin then nodded to Sevilin. "See? But it's a lot easier if someone else throws it because then you only have to focus on being ready. If it hits the ground in big pieces, you lose. So then, your turn." And she picked up another plate and hocked it. "Go Sevilin!"

And he merely watched the display...with some amusement. Breaking Malik's dishes just because they could? That sounded interesting to take part in. But how did he feel about her health wise? Hm...well...a bit of magic was better than physical exertion and if this was for stress relief...well then he figured he'd indulge her for a bit.
Though his blinked a moment as she threw another one, his eyes instinctually following after the quickly traveling disk, and for a moment electircity crackled in his palm beside himself before he raised a hand, a bold streaking out to strike the thing. Quick reflexes of an old killer easily present. And red eyes watched the pieces fall. "Hm...suppose it isn't so bad."
Thus giving her a look before picking up a plate from the pile, and throwing it hard at an almost total vertical angle. "Your turn."

Perfect. He was getting into this and she was already feeling a lot of the tension and restlessness fade with the introduction of physical exertion. Or about as physical as she was going to be allowed to participate in. She grinned at him when he used his own magic and then nodded. "First time we did this, we got into trouble for it. Malik was beside himself with fury. But this time Piper okayed it so we're fine." She watched the plate arc up into the air, violet eyes following it's trail as she slowed it down in her mind. Reflexes intact she lashed out with a whiplike green stream and slapped it as it went down. "You can use rocks too but magic is a lot more fun." Thus she grinned. "Round two." And she picked up a small plate and a bowl and tossed them both. "Get them both or you lose!" she called out laughing.
