Shadow just laughed at all the comotion that was going on. "Shadow is weak, too weak to be here, too weak to have survived. Without me he is nothing." he laughed again as the tranqulisers started to take effect. This side of him love the chaos that was being created. It thrived in such a situation. Shadow own self was siting inside his hollow mind, not moving or flintching. He would fight this thing but not in the middle of two people.

Nina started to argue before she looked up as she heard Shadow's words, realizing the woman was indeed right. "Not....Shadow....so then you really...." She quickly started pulling her hands off from around his waist, trying to turn and run from him.

I looked back at Shadow after seeing Nadea storm off, she was right, everyone was always fighting over Shadow. I looked back into his eyes, and thought that nothing else could be done but to wait and let the tranquilizers do their thing. "Shadow is not weak if he can fight you off time and time again" I said thinking of the beast's words, "Shadow I know you can hear me, you have to get control."
I saw the girl let go, she must have realized that it really was the Vargulf inside, and not really Shadow. I sighed thinking of how she had been tricked, and how Shadow had been tempted, 'we need a better way to control this' I thought not taking my eyes off of Shadow

Nadea stood on the roof silently, her aura reeked of anger. "Shadow....i know you can hear me. You must be tired of this...all this. Just remember what we talked about last night. Its ok to let things go...." she said into his mind, her gentle tone catching the beast off guard. the wind picked up as she walked across the roof, her red robe flapping wildly in the wind.

Shadow stared right into Vickilyns eyes with a grin on it's face. Anyone could see that it was enjoying this. In the vast blackness of Shadow's mind he decided that it was time to make his move, the beast seemed weak enough now, barely able to keep its self awake. It didn't take long for it to fall to Shadow's will once more, Shadow was now himself again but felt horribly drained of energy. "That little runt is sleeping again." he said to Vickilyn as his head dropped to look at the ground. "I take it that this is the part were you hit me, right?"

Nina turned back, hearing Shadow admit he was himself again before shooting him an angry look. "I suppose you haven't told her of the battle tomorrow either huh? Better start talking....I'm going to go out and practice....shame on you for tricking me like that....you can come find me when you're done explaining." She stormed out, infuriated she'd been fooled like that and tried to focus on her training.

I sighed and looked at him releasing his robes, "You're lucky I haven't hit you as of yet" I said with a smile, "but I'm glad you're back, and sorry about using two tranqs, I thought you might have gone after that girl." I stood and held out my hand to help him to his feet, "now I think you have some explaining to do to Nadea, myself, and the new girl you could have killed" I said turning to head down to the dining room, "maybe a meeting of sorts, just to refresh everyone's mind about the beast, and of the battle plans for tomorrow"

Shadow took Vickilyns hand and pulled himself up. "Yes, a meeting sounds like a good idea. I must admit that if you didn't use that second dart that I would have been on the rampage before I had the chance to regain control. I also have some explaining to do to you Vicki, about what you have seen. Not all of it was the beasts doing." Shadow said as he expected a hit from her this time. He was speakign the turth though, not all of it was the beasts doing. Shadow was sick and tired of being alone.

I started walking and stopped suddenly when I heard that it wasn't all the beast. "Not all the beast?" I asked without even turning around, "don't you think Cassidy is fighting everyday to wake up and be with you, just to find you with another woman" I said sternly but not angrily. "You did that to her once and made her life as well as the lives of Felicity and Alexia a living hell, now you're doing it again" I said as I began to walk again, "and now this girl, don't you think of all the people's lives you are affecting?" I asked reaching the bottom of the stairs. "I don't want to tell you how to live your life, but this is getting ridiculous" was all I could think to say.

Nina shook at the realization of what had almost happened. She sighed as she lied down on the grass outisde, not able to train properly or think straight. So...that's why he was worried about me loving him huh? Guess I wasn't meant for it..... Nina played with the ring on her finger, closing her eyes as she kept shaking at the thoughts of what almost had happened.

Shadow walked beside Vickilyn, listening to what she had to say. It was all true, he had already ruined the lifes of many, even before he had come to this manor but not in the same sense as this. "Yes, it is getting rediculous but what am I to do. I have grown considerable weak in my old age, having never truely confronted anything. Always I hide away or forced it from my mind. It is the only reason I kept fighting back then and the reason that I was always crule to the new guests when they arrived. I didn't want anyone getting to close." he said followed by a heavy sigh. Shadow walked into the dinnign room and took his usual chair.

"Yet i got closer than anyone..." Nadea said as she appeared in her chair in front of the window. She was still in her nightgown and robe, not caring about her appearance at the present. Smoke soon rose above her head as the click of a lighter closing sounded.

"As much as you may think this concerns me, it doesn't except for the fact that you are my most trusted friend here and I don't want to see you hurt anyone or yourself" I said lighting up a cigarette, ignoring the round of blood that was brought for everyone. I sighed as I looked over at Nadea, smoking away, then started thinking of the girl who's name I still hadn't learned. "Alot of people are affected by your decisions" I said trying not to lecture him
