Anyway, why don't you want to EV train? It's guarantee of making your Pokemon stronger in wifi battles.

Because I don't want to balls it up come level 50, I wanted to know if I could swap beldum I'm training for example in the middle of a battle an still gain the EV's so long as I keep training against the same pokemon over and over

No I'm saying I don't think a level 1 would survive a match with the first pokemon I find with attack EV's
