Bakura jumped in alarm at the touch and whirled around; for a moment it looked like he was either going to attack her or cry. Of course, being a man, he wasn't going to cry, and since she was his wife, he wouldn't hit her. Instead, after a moment of pause, he shrugged. "I want to find that Marik b*****d now that I know what the hell he wanted."

Rei squeeked softly "then im comming with you. I hate it here...not lemmie just find my clothes." she bent over looking in coubards. since the hospital gown was split in the back and she had no underwear on her bare a** showed. luckly only bakura was in the room.

...for then. In a 'shocking' incident, Melissa went ahead and chose for a randomly selected character to enter at that moment. The character chosen was Khalid, followed closely by Vadin. Vadin, of course, chose to comment loudly at the sight of Rei's rather exposing position. "Well, shoot! If she hadn't just squeezed two little bags of flesh out, I wouldn't mind ******** her! 'Course, it'd probably be better to screw a hole in a rotting melon. Maybe up the a**?" A person couldn't be sure if Vadin wasn't aware of Rei's ability to, somehow, speak Japanese, or perhaps he was always this rude and blunt.

Rei jumped up her face completly red "Watch your mouth!I wouldent screw you if my life depended on it!" she said moving twards bakura her face still red.

"Really?" Vadin seemed a bit surprised at her responding, and took a moment to continue. "Well, what if someone else's life depended on it? I'm sure you do it then."
Khalid gave Vadin a dark look, then turned towards the two. "I apologize for his mouth. Somehow he hasn't been able to control it yet." He said dryly, then pulled out a familiar golden rod from his back pocket. "Marik was here earlier, wasn't he? I need to find him. Need to give him this." He twirled the Millennium Rod between his two fingers.
"Hey!" Bakura was angry at this intrusion, and knew that the one who had spoken first must have said something offensive. "What the hell did he--" He froze when he saw the Millennium Rod, knowing full well its powers, from the priest Seto.
"Still haven't learned another language yet?" Khalid murmured, studying Bakura coolly, switching to the ancient language himself. "You're one of those slow learners, aren't you?"

Rei's eyes widen slightly as he pulled out the rod and moved closer to bakura.

"It was a mistake to have brought both you and the pharaoh here. You will both have to go back where you belong" Khalid continued, looking directly at Bakura, before turning his violet gaze slowly to Rei. "And you, miss, need to stop jumping around in times so much. I don't know how you did it the first few times... If you promise not to try and follow Bakura, I can leave you alone."

"Not possible. See, you're rather meddlesome. You can't just go bouncing around to different times like you have been doing. I'll go ahead and be nice and wipe Bakura's memories before he goes back to Egypt, like I had before..." Khalid's rather expressionless eyes flickered back to the Egyptian. "And I guess I could do the same to you, so you don't remember him. Of course, it would just be easier to kill you... Vadin? Are you interested?" Vadin had been looking bored, but perked up when Khalid spoke to him, nodding quickly.
"You aren't going to lay one finger on her!" Bakura snarled, quickly sweeping Rei behind him, taking a step forward.

Khalid's eyes suddenly narrowed, and his pupils dilated, making them seem black in color. He brought the Millennium Rod, which began to glow, up, and pointed it at Bakura. After a moment, he thrust it towards the wall, and Bakura was thrown against the wall as well, as though some invisible force had picked him up and was pinning him there.

Rei let out a startled squeek "Bakura!" she yelled running to him trying to pull him off the wall.

Vadin ran forward, grabbing Rei's arm in a surprisingly strong grip, tugging her away from Bakura. "Khalid, what are you--?" Vadin snapped in an irritated voice, and Khalid silenced him with a sudden clap. Vadin's grip on Rei tightened as he glared at Khalid.

Rei thrashed trying to get away from vadin "Let go of me!" she yelled trying to claw at his grip trying to pull close to bakura.
