So horribly blatant. They didn't even have the decency to wait 3 to 5 years so they could say it's a "remake"

My question is: "why even remake something that was Awesome to begin with?"

Radjulon How can you say the music was awful? IT'S THE BEST MOVIE EVER OMG. yes there are some down sides (mostly Shilo) but I really think it got much less credit then it deserved. Oh, and new Repomen movie makes me want to stab someone. I suppose its really just not my cup of tea. Bad music aside it had a great story, and the music definitely wasn't a hindrance, so maybe it went well with the story itself. I definitely have to give a thumbs down to the blatant rip off. I haven't seen it and I can already feel the suck radiating from it. Your movie can't be that well written if you had to steal the idea and even the NAME from another movie. Boo I say. Boo!

well the only real difference between that and the big hits of today is it's ripping off a movie rather than a graphic novel

There are so many creative people in this world with so many ideas and they cant find ONE person to write an original movie script? Pffffffft! The movies based off books and graphic novels end up being disappointing to even people that haven't read the original. In fact I dont even want to read the books half the time cause the movie was just so uber corny.
And they think their bad sales are due to piracy. *snickers* Make something worth having and there will always be someone there to buy it. Or you could just pray for more people like my dad who just wants to have EVERYTHING.
Although if you wanna see a good action flick. From Paris with Love was AWESOME! xd : So was Book of Eli. I got dragged to those without even seeing a preview so I had zero expectations but ended up really liking both.

As far as I know, the two I mentioned are not based off anything.

You have to admit though, usually movies from books give great publicity to the book itself.

That is true, Sales always boosted after the movies, but I hate it when they put the Movie Cover on them, Just ruins it...Makes it look like the book is off the movie.

Sad day. I had a great graphic design teacher until they closed the program. I miss that lab.
Any particular reason as to why you hate them?

I enjoyed my Teacher when I had him, mostly because he Liked me, and I was able to run his classroom while he was gone, I have to say, It was fun.
But indeed, it is sad, they should all be cool..

In short:
1. His accent is too strong to understand most of the time. 2. He has no structured syllabus or project list. 3. He spent both yesterday AND today doing nothing but preliminary critique on the current project for a total of 7 hours of me sitting there doing NOTHING. Waste. Of. Time. I can't even leave early because he takes attendance at the end of class. 4. His requirement for mounting projects regardless of student portfolios (as compared to the Art Chairman's own classes). 5. His daily ritual of telling us all about his family and children at the beginning of class. 6. He never gets my name right. 7. He doesn't understand anything I explain. 8. When he talks about someone's work he actually takes control of the mouse and basically does all the work himself to show what he wants.
He knows what he's talking about though so I can't say he can't teach, just that he's really irritating and is far different than I'd prefer.
Thank god I had my DS and games or I'd of gone insane.
