And this was...pointless... Kimmuriel wanted to toss out insults that had no reason to be said and both Sevilin and Malik weren't buyin git. Yup, not thrilled about this. They hadn't even been home an entire day and already mayhem had to ensue. She was content to watch them for now. No need to get Sevilin all upset with her for endangering the baby or anything like that. Would she be content with the sidelines fo rlong? Who knew.

The drow tilted his head, "You can't kill Jarlaxle." Not a hint of any question in his voice, he sincerely knew that Malik could not kill Jarlaxle. Sevilin is tougher than Malik, and he lost. The drow laughed, "Thanks, like I said, I needed to laugh."
"You should really start think'ng about what yur saying, or you'll look like an idiot..." The drow's voice showed his rather unimpressed reaction to Malik's attempts to be something he wasn't.
"You must admit, you came much quicker when I severed their heads." The drow shrugged, "Its not unlike what you do every time you come near my pawns." Shrugging, "Besides, they are ogres, they eat too much... Then again, you would be holding the best source of food in all the Dark in your basement. I wonder what would happen if I told all the hungry Purians about you're little gateway... I wonder how they will feel... Or if they will even think when they try to storm your gates futilely. A few of your ogres would turn the entire force to mush, armed with their wooden spears and stone hammers."
"Then again, why would I want them all dead? What purpose would that serve?"
"Or would I have you guess and rethink it until you're blue in the face only to find out I merely hate non-drow more than I hate drow... OR was it the other way around..." The princeling shrugged again.
"Well, unless, you can think of a reason I shouldn't destroy Deep Water and Honorsfield?"

He was always this way wasn't he? Yes he was. As breif as encounters as he had had with this drow...he knew enough as it was. Brash, acting younger than one his age usually did...varitable show boat and a lot of talk with a hoard of shiny weapons and magical trinkets, looking for a fight. Waste of energy if you asked him, but no one was.
Breifly his look turned to Zahara, before back to present company, merely standing where he was and not saying anything on the subject. Wasn't his place to say something. Though it was funny...Kimmuriel liked to annoy Malik obviously...he wasn't out to destroy his land, or anything of the sort...if he was....he had three months to do it without Malik around.
Wouldn't that of been nice? To have Malik come back to nothing left of his home and what not, by Kimmuriel's hands? But that hadn't happened now had it?

"I care little for Deepwater. But honours field I can give you a reason for. Meilikki is moving there, at thier new leader's request, along with Roarke. and wether you'll admit it or not, you have a soft spot for her. but if you destroy Deepwater, you bring hounorsfield into teh fray via the alliance garnered by you and your influence. so by attacking and or sacking either, you risk losing your meilikki."
A shrug.
"I told you before my glory days are over. I don't need bloodshed and battle. the Purians have only to offer service, or anything. they want food, they can broker a deal with me. same as Deepwater or honoursfield. But if you want to go play with something, why not play with dimitri's child or children. one is known, a woman named Omega. I'll wager there's at least one named Alpha, given dimitri's need for being begining and end."
Another smirk.
"Or, if you are so bored, why not take your chances with the Death Knight that is now free? Or how about you try your hand at taking down Jaraxle? maybe that'll keep you entertained for a century or two."

Tarathiel laughed again, "You are a funny guy, Panzy smelling blue skinned elf."
"Dimitri's and Meilikki's children are as harmless as you are... Well, I guess they could pick on the weaklings... Posion a few or whatever it is they are up too." The drow shrugged. "Not that I know anything about that." A honest lie.
Lifting up his left hand, which was adorned with a rather unholy looking red, black and gold gloved gauntlet that looked very similar to what someone would associate with a greater demon. "I've had a few chats with Uthegentel, he gave me an interesting hint of a quest, and now..." He made a fist with his new gauntlet, "I have little to fear of you."
"Three months you've been gone, yet your home and treasures remain. I must have done something with all that time... Something big perhaps, or something small." He paused, "Or both."
"So you don't care if I sack those cities..."

Piper merely played with the beading on her surcoat a moment as she listened to thinigs that were going on...she was a little lost though. Okay, so then what was Tarathiel after. Her look went breifly down the hall to where she knew Meilikki's room was and that the woman who was once an oracle was residing. No, she hadn't been to see the woman yet, but there was good reason for that...she didn't want to rush Meilikki's departure. But triple colored eyes went back to staring down the stairs.
Hm...this was just getting more and more interesting in an odd sort of perspective way. Maybe with the death of Lloth, the princeling had finally lost his mind...how fitting. Driven down that path after accomplishing what he wanted. And look, Sevilin hadn't been in the way as he had thought.
Though the raise of an eyebrow, eyes shifting to Malik a moment as the princeling went about showing off his new little accessory. Though it was interesting that he implied that Malik was trying to make him fear him.

"I never feared you at all. concerned with your plots and tactics, but never feared. and why should I care? Jiscal refuses to respond to me, and he inherited a kingdom of weak humans that only survives at all by your and my good graces. without your back up, he'd never even come to power, and if I chose to, I coudl ruin his kingdom just as you could. Honoursfield, my only concern woudl be Cymarron's children. But I imagine they would leave once your minotaurs and drow troops came marching in. Maybe not Onyx. he still has some urge to beat up on that one...Warhammer, I beleive the name is. and that half-elf in your service has caught his fancy."
A shrug.
"I have made no secret of my innate dislike of humans here. why shoudl I care if thier kingdoms crumble?"

"Well, I guess you'll just have to lose sleep over that." Replied the drow. "You'd love it if your keep was the only living life within three thousand miles..."
"Well, walled up in here, never going outside or investing in the countryside, I figured it would be polite to let you know all that you can see from here, will soon be not but ruin. You may have had plans or development ideas, but I had the gracious nature to let you know, you probably should not do so."
Tarathiel yawned, "Well. You certainly are complex."

Now he was saying he was being the polite messenger? That was a bit hard to fathom by Sevilin's standards. Seemed he'd done nothing but kick dying embers of a still dying fire in their eyes since he came close to the place. He certinally was a confusing creature...and yes, Sevilin would stick to his initial musings on his state of mind. Kimmuriel may have even challenged Sevilin in the field of mental stability by now. Hm...how did this affect his moving plans?
Piper sighed...well well, it was happening again was it? Then again she shouldn't expect any more from this place. Destruction always seemed the theme of others around here. Perhaps a little chance of rebuilding but the chances were slim unless someone had the drive. Standing up she shook her head and crossed her arms lightly before turning from the stairs and her attention from what was going on downstairs and heading back to her room...she was about to be sick anyway and breakfast wasn't feeling like it was going to stay down.

Elsewhere in that dark, gloomy place known as Labyrinth...
Trowgar sat fishing on the edge of a small shelf he and his kin built to serve as both a loading dock and a relaxing fishing hole. He was a rather regal fellow, cheerished by his newly formed clan for bringing them a home, peace, and plenty of ore to dig and mold. The only thing Trowgar could not do for his fellow dwarves was provide them with a horde of ail, which was the first order of business once the new Citadel was carved from the rocks. Kord and Moridin were proud of this industrial group, despite their years of slavery. It was a happy dwarven community, or as happy as the gruff folk got.
It was a simple life, one that the dwarves welcomed, but alas, it was to be spoiled by the one who brought it.
The gruff dwarf cursed as his line seemed to be snagged, and haulled it out of the water. On the other end of his fishing rod, he fond something he wished he had not.
An unconsious elf. The dwarf inquisitively looked at the creature, the damage along the side of the elf's head showed that he had battled some creature and lost, the tears in the elves tunic showed that it was a creature with tenticles. The dwarf sighed. The last time he fished an elf from the lake, it was a drow... A drow who proved instrumental in gaining freedom for the dwarves...

Tarathiel placed his hand on his chin, and looked perplexed for a moment, "Oh, right. The real reason I came here is because King Jiscal is having a Party or something, and he wanted to invite all the nobles. As such, Piper is invited for being an elfish princess. She can bring three guests. You can come, you don't have too, I foraged your signiture on an amysty treaty, meaning you technically are no longer squating on this land, well, everything within your walls."
"A fort night, two weeks, from today. Dress appropriately, no arms or armour, no decorative blades thicker than my finger, no longer than my forearm."
"Send a messanger no taller than me to meet with the Chamberlin." The drow yawned, "Yes, I really did come here today to get a good laugh, and got distracted by... the shiny colours!" The drow laughed, "Later." He sunk straight down into the ground, and vanished, taking away the runic circle with him, which disappeared in the abyss.

Zahara hadn't moved the entire time, remaining on her spot on the ground, watching all that was occurring. Her own look was slightly perplexed, why would they care if everything was destroyed? If Kimmuriel decided to bring down the rest of the plane, she could always go live on Andal. Sevilin could stay here with his kid or go elsewhere, she could care less really. She'd already agreed that he could have the baby free and clear. She eventually had enough of sitting and pushed herself to her feet, wiping off her palms and walking forward, then stopping just to the side of Sevilin watching Kimmuriel disappear beneath the ground. "That was odd."

Sevilin merely tilted his head, watching Kimmuriel disappear, along with glowing runes...not a big deal, they were dispelled with the loss of a target and nothing more. Though with the drow now gone, he let his own runic defenses drop as he uncrossed his arms, letting them drop to his sides and then turned slightly to look toward Zahara who came to stand beside him. He was actually surprised that she had listened to him, but she was given a small smile from him for a moment. "Odd indeed...though I wouldn't expect anything less." Interesting information to impart on them all.

"I suppose considering he was convinced that with you dead the way would be clear to get rid of Lloth. Kind of funny that she's gone and now he wants to destroy the rest of Labyrinth. Just goes to prove that some drow are entirely too bloodthirsty." But then the son of Lloth...well what more would you expect? He was from the loins of the b***h herself...or so he claimed. She still to this day believed he was full o fit since that godess would not have allowed such a creature to mature and live in her body much less given birth. But perhaps it made him feel better to know his mother was the Spider Queen, who knew. The baby moved inside her and she winced. There was a sharp pain right in her side and without even thinking she reached out and grasped Sevilin's arm tightly, closing her eyes.

Malik just shook his head and chuckled lightly.
"Tarathiel..or Kimmuriel...has always been such. But a party. and forging an amnesty treaty. that is an interesting turn of events. Suprises me that he didn't try to storm my home. But of what he claims is true about the purians, it might be in my interest to feed them if they need it. could work to my advantage."
A look at Zahara nad Sevilin.
"Well you two come on back in. I'll have to get a few more guards. maybe try that pain thing on some Iksars. they are less expensive. and Arthur I think is waiting for you, Zahara."
then a glance toward thier room..hmm...morning sickness maybe? perhaps. after all he didn't really look to see if she was pregnant, more to see if his self experiments were working.
