I recently started paying attention to Daily Chance again after a year of ignoring it... when did the average cash prize change from 100g to 50,000g prizes?
Also, I just finished running a Pathfinder session, where all of the orcs spoke like orks, protesting the electoral college and advocating the popular vote for three hours. Sweet Gork (or Mork), my THROAT! DX!!!

Ociluce I recently started paying attention to Daily Chance again after a year of ignoring it... when did the average cash prize change from 100g to 50,000g prizes? When the economy is broken the best way to fix it is to make more monies. ninja

Played two fun games of 40k, 1000 pts each. I used the following (s**t) list: Knight-Castigator, Pask in an Exterminator with an Exterminator buddy, another Exterminator and five Scions with plasma pistol and plasma gun.
First one was against Steel Rain marines, I lost that one, though the Knight kept going and squashed a combat squad of the Emperor's Finest every turn until the game ended. Not enough to win, but by the end the Knight had killed about twenty marines, Tigurius and a pesky Tech-marine and his thunderfire cannon.
The second was against the Tau (Shadowsun + posse, another squad of suits, two teams of Fire Warriors and a Riptide), where I lost my Scions early on, had my Knight dented a bit by some shooting, but other than that survived the ordeal unscathed. In return I had blasted everything but one demi-squad of Fire Warriors, this despite my opponent making full use of both cover saves and other special fail-safe mechanics. The Knight didn't perform as well as hoped this time round, as Pask more or less outshot it, chewing through Shadowsun and her posse with frightening ease, even going so far as instant-deathing her.
We're having rematches next Saturday, 1500 pts. All in all really looking forward to those.

For Saturday I'm thinking of taking the Knight-Castigator, a Knight Paladin, three armoured Sentinels with autocannons, Ten Scions with plasma guns, a vanilla Taurox Prime and either Pask plus a buddy, both in Exterminators with heavy bolters or throw conventional warfare out the window and instead settle for three Devastator Centurions with full gravity weaponry and a basic squad of Sternguard.
