"This ain't no place for a hero..."  xxxUrban had grown quiet after the remixed version of Monster/Lies. Unfortunately, his irritation started to return when a new guy was added amongst the many being bought here. While the male reminded him of the felines several cages down, they seemed ten times smarter than him right about now. Instead of actually saying anything, however, he just started letting out an irritable hiss while dropping onto his back, his bright green eyes glaring up at the ceiling.
xxxWhen the dark haired male finally drifted to sleep, his hissing ceased. Soon after, the light sound of singing rose up from where he was laying although the words weren't in English. He'd be happier if he could dance to the tune running through his head as he sang Tose Naina Lage, but his movements were limited.

Lan wakes up hungry as the cold air swept across his face makeing him shiver."Lan: huh i slept like a log. Looks like im still in this cage unable to get out. I wonder when i can get some food." he said as he got up and walked around the cage to get a good look around the room. " it's a bit dark in here. oh well beggers cant be choosers." he looks at the charms on his collar wondering what there for. " Huh never seen theses before those guards must have put them on me when they brought me here."

"One...two..three...four...five...six, six slaves and possibility of one master every year, it's like there are more of us then them." Red said crossing her arms she just laid her head on Blue's shoulder. Red had grown tired.Blue didn't awake from her sleep feeling Red on her, she had no problem with it. The smell of Strawberries smoothed out her feeling of anxiety.

"This ain't no place for a hero..." xxx"There's more than six in here, you just can't see all of 'em," Urban hissed from where he was still laying. Now that Lan was awake yet again, he was already back to getting cranky again. All he was doing was stating the obvious. Oh how much he hated people who stated the obvious. "Is it really? I would've never guessed that it was cold in here considering I feel like I've been sitting in a freezer for about six months. Thank you for informing me." While his voice had taken on a thick layer of sarcasm, he could really care less about how his irritability would affect the other male right now.

"Lan: its not the cold im worried about and hey i'm just trying to realize whats happend." he walked over to the side of the cage to look at the other male. " besides whats gotten you so mad? I'm not here to pick a fight but if its a fight you want its a fight you'll get." he backs away from the cage bars and sits down to calm down before he says something stupid.

I was calm and relaxed before you showed up, but when you showed up stating the obvious and being all 'where is this? Why am I here? Blah' I started gettin' pissy again. It's common sense that you are now being sold as a slave. It's called 'human trafficking' in what people call 'the black market'," Urban responded as he rolled onto his side, his back towards the other male. He was used to laying on the ground, sure, but the chains linking his collar to the back of his cage and the bindings on his ankles and wrists made him uncomfortable. It wasn't like his stupid little shadow trick would work on him since he was enshrouded by shadows. It also wouldn't really get him any amusement since he could only go so far and his limbs didn't have as much freedom as that guard's had.

"Lan: well sorry i didnt mean to offend anyone." he got up and went to the cage door and held the lock in his hand and sighed and turned to look at the other male. "so whats your name? if you dont mind me asking." he walks up to the end of the cage and looks at the guy i could get thoses chains off you if you would like me to.

"This ain't no place for a hero..." xxx"Urban. My name is Urban and I was a snake charmer. Don't bother wasting your energy. Others have tried it a million times before you and they didn't escape so I'm not expecting escape now. The guards still don't trust me though so I'm stuck having little movement altogether," Urban hissed out while lightly tapping his fingers together. Why was this guy acting like a chatterbox? It wasn't like he wanted to be a chatterbox back. It was like no one understood that this wasn't some social event! One minute you could have a friend in the cage next-door and the next he or she could be gone.

Onyx I've been in wars that you only hear about in history books. Crimson eyes cracked open as the Valkyrie sat up, her chilling gaze landing on those speaking. "why dont we all shut up for a bit? that way, none of us will get mad at each other." she drawled, letting her icy stare drift from Red to Blue to Lan before landing on Urban.
"Urban, du ønsker litt hjelp med disse kjedene? Jeg kan være i stand til å plukke låsene for deg." Her words were softer, less harsh, yet her voice held the smirk that the shadows kept out of sight of the others.
{translation: urban, do you want some help with those chains? I might be able to pick the lock for you.} do yourself a favor and don't assume i'm just another pretty little girl.

She was just looking at them from the side of her eyes, whilst she laid on Blue.Blue could feel Red move around on her as Red's hair covered most of Blue's torso, like a blanket. Blue just yawned in her sleep.

"This ain't no place for a hero..." xxx"Finally someone with some common sense," the dark haired male breathed out before sitting up. Shifting his bright green eyes to the dark haired female in the cage beside his, he briefly pointed towards the back of his cage. "If you've got something small enough to pick the locks, you've just made one snake charmer a bit happier than he was before. It'd be easier for us to reach each other in the back of this crap cell since the chain won't exactly try choking me back there." Standing back up, he started up a soft hum that one would have to listen really close to tell what it was. He then dropped back into a seated position beside the bars between his cage and Onyx's cage. Somehow she seemed familiar. He'd probably seen her in here before since she seemed like she enjoyed escaping too. That wouldn't really be a surprise. Several people had been surprised once before by how the snake charmer seemed to have the flexibility of a snake, but he was tired of getting hit with a stungun just as he slipped out of one of the doors.

Onyx I've been in wars that you only hear about in history books. chuckling softly, Onyx pulled out a few of the pins holding up her hair. "these should do the trick...." she murmured, standing up slowly and putting most of her weight on her left leg. good thing the cages are small... she thought to herself as she fidgeted with the locks, her red eyes glancing around the room again.
"there you go~" she sighed, stepping back as the chain on his neck fell, the ones on his wrists coming off soon after.
{translation:} do yourself a favor and don't assume i'm just another pretty little girl.
