*the stillness of the herd continued on for many hours, after a while the golden red mare left but after a day she returned, in the same spot, with the same silent stance. She looked upon the herd with curiosity but dared not go near, as the herd silently looked up to her again they turned back to grazing quicker than the last time she had been here, and the herd was as silent and still as ever until Kaio soon broke out of the grazing mass with a speed so quick and eagre, he was merely a blurr. Starlight, seeing the young stallion charging towards her, reared and leapt back the way she had come, Kaio catching up just as quickly as she could dash away. Dreamcloud followed after for just a few strides before she stopped, knowing she could not bring him back.*

Evander's head snapped up and he trotted up next to Dreamcloud. "Shall I go and get him?" He chuckled.
Prince also lifted his head and watched as the mare bolted away. He saw Kaio run after her and snorted, deciding to ignore it, and lowered his head to keep grazing. Lithea trotted gracefully over to her sire and nipped at his long mane. "Father, why does she keep coming over here to just stare at us?" She said with an irritated tone in her voice. She stomped a hoof as she watched her run.
Ghost glanced down at her before returning his gaze up again. "I don't know." He sighed and snorted. shuffling his wings. "But Kaio sure took off in a hurry." He said.

*In a panic, Dreamcloud called after Kaio, and turned to Evander* yes! find him!!
*The red mare barreled across the land, stretching her legs out just as far as they would go, and using all her stregnth to push harder to gallop faster away from the dark pegasus that kept after her. A small bluff came up, and she slid to a stop, hesistating, but as Kaio drew nearer she took the chance and leapt desperately across the narrowed river. As Kaio followed, he leapt without missing a beat after her, but before he made it across, he plumeted into the water. As he came up to the surface, he clumsily crawled onto the bank, sputtering and coughing, sneezing and shivering as smoke colored water dripped from his nose and mouth. As the mare soon realized he was no longer chasing her, she stopped and turned around. Slowly she walked towards him, making soft mare noises and sniffing about the air that drifted off his weak body.*

Evander nodded and bolted away with blinding speed in the direction Kaio had run off in. He very quickly reached the bluff and slid to a halt, fire trailing behind him. He sighed and stamped it out quickly then looked over the edge to see Kaio and the mystery mare. He snorted and reared up, screaming his ear-splitting shriek.

*As the sound of nearing hoofbeats drew nearer, Starlight turned and galloped slowly along the riverbank, the sunlight slipping through the canopy above her head, speckling her coat with spots of light and spots of shade. As she dwindled from sight, Kaio lifted his head from the wet bank and looked up at his sire. He sighed and laid his head back down, sighing and sitting up slowly, crawling more on to the bank so his hind legs were above solid ground. He stood up, shivering and still dripping with cold water. The land and weather had changed in a few weeks, the leaves about the trees turning golden and the air cooling. The land was dry and hard packed, dusty but mottled with grass and clover that was still green, though pale. The young stallion looked longingly towards the direction the mare had gone, and snorted, looking back up to where Evander stood. He hesitated, but once again galloped away, neighing after the mare.*
*Back at the herd, Dreamcloud pricked her ears as she saw spots of red coat and white stockings dash through the distant trees. She watched a while longer until turning away. As the whinny of Kaio came loudly, she shot her head up and watching as he, too, galloped through the trees, still after the mare. She gave it thought as she waited for Evander to return and realized he was no longer a foal.*

Evander snorted, baring his teeth. He flared his wings and lept off the ledge into the air. He flew quickly, gaining altitude with every wingbeat until he was several hundred feet in the air. He soon caught up to his colt and the mare and spiraled down a few hundred feet, soaring right above them as Kaio continued chasing the golden red mare. He screamed again to make his presence known.
Ghost too lifted his head to watch as the red mare and Kaio sped through the trees. He shook his head, about to graze again, when Evander's scream pierced the air. He pricked his ears towards the noise. "Hm. Dreamcloud, can you tell if he's still chasing Kaio?" He asked her.

*Dream watched the treeline for a while longer before responding to Ghost*
No..Maybe Evander should just come back..I might go get him, but it seems kindof useless for him to just keep chasing Kaio like that. He's nearly two years old now, I'm surprised either one of you havent run him off yet.
*The sullen mare stood and walked away, nearly out of view. Back in the forest the chase was now on the coast of the ocean and the thinned forest, the mare was exhausted and soon slowed and stopped, flattening her ears as Kaio sniffed her over. As he noticed Evander near, he stopped and walked a few hesitant steps toward him.*

Evander landed on the sand and walked towards Kaio. "Kaio, your mother wishes you home." He said. He was stern, but kind, he understood Kaio, but like Dreamcloud, he didn't want to give up his only colt yet. He knew he should, but there was a part in him that was proud to have him there. He looked over at the mare and sighed. "I suppose you can return back with him if you wish." He offered then turned to leave, his head over his shoulder watching Kaio.
Ghost sighed. "I suppose it's almost time to. You can go get him, but on the other hand perhaps you should let them talk." He offered,

((ugh, I made a long a** reply to that yesterday but apparently it never got through :/ crap >.<)) *kaio quietly followed his sire, stopping a moment to look back at the mare who just stood there. As they continued on Starlight looked about and trotted after the two, keeping her distance.* ((also, I repainted my Romance model and am so glad I did ^.^ I named him Bellino and I think he's so much prettier biggrin ))

Evander smiled at Kaio and the mare, then snorted and broke into a slow trot, slow enough for the mare to keep up.
Ghost pricked his ears forward listening. "It's quiet." He said.
((Haha wow, writer's block xDD OOH! I love him, Bellino looks gorgeous! (Much better than the Romance model, I agree) You pain really well! 3nodding Ew, gross what a bunch of wh****))

((the 3 naked women were an unplesant surprise when I was googling "appaloosas" I especially like how the horses looked like sometime that day they bucked the girls off, lol. Or how even with all that plastic surgery the girls still arent pretty. It would be a punishment for most people i know to have that much weight in their chest. The uncensored picture was way creepier, lol. And I should put up some pictures of the finished Bellino, I put a bit of white paint in his eyes for lighting effect and I detailed all his muscles and curves, and also gave him gold shoes complete with the fancy 3 nails just above, shoes and nails are difficult to paint, i made some of the nails too big for his hooves...Really dont feel like re-doing it though, lol. Oh, and I havent/wont be online much because i installed an update in my laptop and it shut down during the insallation process, so when i spent a week trying to get it to turn back on and when it finally did it was so slow i could do literally nothing with it. So I, not knowing so much about computers, erased the entier hard drive which apparently also contains the operating system (like windows vista or such) so now it's still useless and I've also lost everything. Every song I ripped onto it, every picture I saved, every website I favorited and my entier friendslist for MSN and Yahoo >.< Take my advice, if you havent already, NEVER buy a laptop!! Theyre a pain in the a**!!))

((Ew I bet. That's disgusting, if I had that much weight on my chest I'd fall over haha xDD Ooh you should he sounds gorgeous, I can't wait to see the finished product. Awwww man that bites...my laptop (Yes sadly I do have one already haha) has a really horrid Trojan virus on it that has written itself into my harddrive and I can't remove it...It keeps locking up and shutting down and it wont let me install any antivirus stuff on it to destroy it. It's really annoying... >< But jeez, to lose your whole hardrive?? That sucks a**...))
