I think he'll become an Inquisitor, or Nyxos's acolyte of some sort.

You have to wonder, if Alaric joins the Inquisition, what will the next book be called?

Gents, one minor request, if you are to discuss plots and spoilers of past novels, please be as kind as to blank them out as to not spoil it for others. Thank you. wink

Regarding major spoilers in Hammer of Daemons. The guys have only mentioned one little bit at the end. The main plot still remains hidden.

Done with Sword of Justice, I hate how they end on semi-cliffhangers and tell you to wait half a year for the sequel. Right now I'm staring at Rynn's World, a novel by an author I don't really like but still have to read.. emo

I very much recommend it if you want to learn of the Crimson Fist's struggles and how they started.

I think you mean how they survive and rebuild, seeing as they have been around since the end of the Heresy. wink

Well the book focuses on the war. Survive yes, rebuild, only a little bit at the end. I did mean the start of the Crimson Fist's struggle.

Its still a cool book though. I'm currently reading an extract on the BL website for Hunt for Voldorius and so far so good. I'm still debating on whether or not to check out Helsreach. Part of me says yes because of Armageddon, but no because I'm not a fan of the Black Templars. Might get it for the Space Marines experience though.
Also planning on getting Bloodborn.

I've been told that Helsreach will also deal with the Armageddon armed forces, including a rather vulgar storm trooper and a secret weapon of epic proportions.
