I've seen Nightwatch but not Daywatch. I read the books before I watched the movie and they had changed quite alot of stuff about the plotline so I couldn't really keep up with it because it was different than the books. I liked the way it was filmed though, I thought that stayed true to the books, with the atmosphere and the action. I think more could have been done to tell the story a little better but the books are thick and there would be alot to squeeze in to a movie. I believe they made more than the Lord of the Rings did worldwide in just Russia alone 3nodding

The little girl says - Oh wow, I did not know there were books based off of the movies. I'll have to check into it the next time I go to the library.
What impresses me the most, is the english translations. I don't think they really changed much of the movie, just more so did a voice over, and avoided shots with the face. And the original could have been like that anyways, I am not sure.
And in the books does it explain the mosquitoes?

Sliph Yes, I rather enjoyed it too. Especially the part where he stops peeing to listen in on the conversation. Also, I can't wait until Hancock. Yeah, there were a lot of funny shots in that film, like the dance off, that was amazing. xd I think I'm going to go see Hancock with my grandma, which if I do will make the experience that much more entertaining.

She's pretty cool, but not as cool as one of my friend's grandma. I just think it would be entertaining to see her reactions to the movie. xd 3nodding

[King_Chaos] I know it could be worse, but let me put it this way: "Hey George, you got Star Wars in my Indie!" I totally agree. I'm a huuuuuuuuge fan of the original Indiana Jones films and I just felt that the latest one was not up to scratch. Aliens spoilt it for me..I'm just not a fan of sci-fi and Indiana Jones was about HISTORY and MYTHOLOGY...not aliens. There were quite a few moments that were similar to Star Wars..such as the car chase through the jungle...that was like the speeder chase in Return of the Jedi. I just felt that they had run out of ideas... It would have been a little better if they had set it another era later...and made Indy actually 50 years old or whatever...so that he was the same age as Harrison..cause Harrison does look older than Indy is supposed to be. It's only supposed to be 10 years after the Last Crusade, and he looks older than that. I didn't mind the cast too much...Harrison was great as always, and I really liked Ray Winstone. IT was a shame his character didn't have a larger role, cause he's a talented actor. Marion was usless..all she did was tag along and need to be saved, which was nothing like Marion from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Shia Lebouef wasn't awful but he wasn't great either. Just..typically average. I'm dreading the next movies ..which I'm sure George Lucas will want to make. I watched a Documentary on the real story of the crystal skulls. It was quite interesting. But they are mostly fakes. A woman found a skull hidden in a temple and its supposed to have mystic powers. But there's no way the skull could have been made without using modern technology. So people think that the archeologist who the woman was working with actually planted it there for her to find. There are alot of these crystal skulls in museums across the world, and when they are all put together they are supposed to communicate with each other to predict what will happen in the future. But over half of them are all fakes, because there were made in the 1950s etc.
