She's funny, smart, nice, caring, a perfect friend who can keep a secret, and very gentle with things. I'm so thankful she's my friend, she even told me I was her closest friend and that she could always trust me. Well now I find myself falling for this girl and it's just not fair! She's not like...Well, you know...And so I can't possibly tell her how I feel or I know she's going to get freaked out."

Saad, my bottom was so claimed while I was cuddling my drugged up girlfriend. XD Guh. Vaguely worried. They upped one of her medications and it's messing with her now.
Buuuuut I have posts to respond to, a picture to finish, and then a bed calling my name. ^.^
Edit: XD Aena on a power trip is kinda hot? heart
XD I also wonder if people who think lesbians are going to burn in hell really believe that God is that hypocritical. I was raised a good christian girl, and one of the fundemental things they taught us was the whole "God is Love" thing. How can god smile upon one love and damn another? Love is love.
That's my take on the matter. ^_^

There are a few passages that can be interpreted as being against male homosexuals, but if I recall, that's all interpretation. I would have to refresh my memory since I haven't looked at it in a while, but I'm pretty sure that homophobia is a product of the middle ages, and is not in the bible at all.

OMG the guilds are back! XDD ^_^ Well, some would argue that the bible is the context. Every word is deliberate and relevant, and even though it was written millenia ago in languages that didn't even have terms for genetic engineering or homosexuality at the time, it's speaking on those topics, too. But, ah, I don't recall that that stoning one. Stoning is usually reserved for women, and usually for infidelity, if I recall, although it was used for violating ritual, like working on the Sabbath. Do you maybe mean Leviticus 20:13? Quote: If a man lies with a man, as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they will be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. (Paraphrased - not an exact quote.) In some bibles, that's translated as: Quote: The penalty for homosexual acts is death to both parties. They brought it on themselves. (Again, not an exact quote.) That's the only verse that I can remember that speaks about a death penalty for homosexuality in any way. There are a couple of others that mention not getting into Heaven (ie, going to Hell), but no others that I can think of mention a death penalty. Still, even this verse is not necessarily what it first appears to be. A majoy gay activist group transliterated from the original Hebrew (so yeah, they had an agenda, but a literal translation doesn't really leave too much room for imposing an agenda), and got something more along the lines of: Quote: And a man who will lie down with a male in beds of a woman, both of them have made an abomination; dying they will die. Their blood is on them. Which they paraphrase as (this is where bias may come in): Quote: If two men engage in homosexual sex while on a woman's bed, both have committed an abomination. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. So, first, this has nothing to do with lesbians. Second, it doesn't even seem to have anything to do with gay men, really, except to tell them don't have gay sex in a woman's bed. That sounds a little odd to us, but you have to put yourself in the sandals of the dude writing it. In those days, a woman's bed was a sacred place, and there were times that even her own husband wasn't allowed there (such as when she was on the rag). Sex was highly ritualized, including when, where and how it could be done - they had to clean themselves before and after in various ways, and they were ritually unclean for the rest of the day after ********. And most importantly, the passage makes clear that the act is not a sin against God, but a sin against ritual, like picking up sticks on the Sabbath (which would also get you executed: see Numbers 15:32-36). Incidently, it's quite likely that King David of Isreal ( the King David, as in, the "Star of David" David) had a gay relationship with Prince Jonathan - who would have been king if David had not been selected by the prophet Samuel (details are in I and II Samuel, I can't remember exactly where). Also, there were probably lezzies, in the form of Ruth and Naomi (check out the book of Ruth). And, in yet another one of the bible's dirty little secrets, apparently Jesus happily healed the boy sex slave of a Roman centurion when the centurion asked nicely (kissed his a** a bit), in Matthew 8. All is not as it appears to be in the bible at first glance, especially with regards to things like homosexuality. Do not take the English translations you may be familiar with at face value. Translators are only human.
