Remmy just shook her head. "La Mort is the bad guy, he's supposed to be scary. You're on our side, they're not supposed to have to be scared of you." she said. "It's not their fault they're meek, the cards seem to have chosen people who needed friends or had self esteem problems. Maybe the whole thing is supposed to help us."

Remmy shrugged. "I also didn't have any friends before all this and now I have a bunch of them. Kind of tells you something. And we're forced to get over being not having confidence in ourselves and that it's also alright to rely on others. Most of them are shy and didn't have any friends either so maybe that's why we were chosen, other than our magic attracting the cards."

He shook his head "Friends are stupid. They serve no purpose. But I suppose... those other kids... feel they need friends. Pittiful... to base your worth on others opinions. You should all realize and embrace your own talents.. and now your differences! Like it or not you've all been gifted with magic... not something every human can say. You should be proud of that!" He leaned on the wall a bit.. when was Franki going to wake up.. then he could stop talking to Remmy. He didn't feel comfortable discussing this stuff with her... he always felt he was reveling things he didn't even know existed when he talked to her.

Remmy tilted her head. "Are you sure you don't just feel that way because, deep down somewhere, you would like a friend? But maybe you're afraid that they would hurt you." she said, rubbing her chin. Despite not being social she could definately carry on a conversation and even dissect them. Phsychology class helped with that.

Kishi's eyes widened then narrowed angrily " What the heck are you talking about? Why would I want a friend... I'm not some meek little human who needs them! AND I'm not afraid of anyone.. as if I'd let anyone hurt me! No one can hurt me... I'm too strong for them too! *snort* You are definatly cracked.. just take your little friends ideas and forget them.. cause they are not true at all!!"

Remmy laughed. "Oh Kishi, how may times must you prove me right? Not all humans are meek and Fai is a meek guardian so let's not get into that. However, when you keep saying you are too strong to get hurt it just proves that you're afraid you'll be betrayed or that they'll just dissapear. And we don't need them, I did fine for almost fifteen years without them. They just kind of dropped in my lap the last little bit. Everybody needs someone though." she said gently. She wasn't laughing at him, just that he had proved her right.

He crossed his arms in what could almost be called a pouting position if it were'nt for the anger in his eyes "Fai is an idiot! I'm not afraid.. of anything! Besides betrayal is everywhere apparently... you just have to deal with it! And why should I be afraid of anyone dissapearing when I'm the one who will probably dissapear!" He huffed an dturned away starting for the exit.. he needed to go for a fly around town before Franki woke up.

Remmy sighed. "You keep running away from emotions. And maybe you're not afraid of being hurt, but of hurting people. I don't think you'll just dissapear after we defeat La Mort. After all, Kero and Yue never dissapeared." she said, looking at the ceiling. "And Fai isn't an idiot, he just cares a great deal about everyone. Even people he doesn't like."

::Franki had woken when Remmy entered the room but had been too groggy to acknowlege she was awake... however when Remmy shut the door, it didn't catch and had swung open a crack, just enough for the rapidly waking Franki to hear everything they spoke about. she had been slighlty pleased to hear that Kishi didn't "dislike her as much" as the others, and not quite sure how she felt about "growing on" people. when Remmy meantioned the whole "people who are insecure or need friends" becoming card captors, she wondered where she fit into things. She had friends... quite a few of them actually. she wasn't really anti-social and being on all the teams at school meant that she was generally a good team player. she didn't have any emotional security issues... sure she felt invisable sometimes but that was because she was the youngest of nine kids and the only girl... maybe that DID make her a little blunt and odd sometimes but... did it mean that she was insecure? she didn't think so... she had never bothered to change herself based on what others wanted her to be... she had always felt that if they couldn't accept her as she was then they didn't need to be part of her life... as quietly as she could, which was pretty quitely actually, she sliped out from under the covers and between the twins, neither woke as she did, and slid to the floor. she managed to do this all without any sound. sitting on the floor with her back against the bed, she rubbed her thigh, thinking for a moment. she couldn't feel anything below her waist still... and obviously she still couldn't see... but, if you'd pardon the expression, her eyes had never really be as open as they were once she went blind. she was starting to pick up on subtlties that she had missed before... certainly, she wouldn't have heard the loneliness in Kishi's voice when he told her how lucky the twins were to have her... she had a lot of food for thought.... but one thing was certain, she'd be a lot happier once she could walk again::

He paused at hearing Remmy's words and sighed. Things would be easier if he DID dissapear when it was over. " I guess we'll see when it's over then... and I don't run away from emotions... I just move to the side so I don't get caught up in them like everyone else!" He turned and smirked a bit "That makes Fai an idiot... caring for people you don't like.. sounds silly to me! He shouldn't waste his time.."

Remmy sighed. "You're dissillusioned I'm afraid. Fai is the strongest when you think of it that way, he becomes much stronger and bolder when someone he cares about is in trouble. And besides, I don't like you much at all but I still care about you. So do the other guardians, though none of them will show it and Fai will never admit that he cares about you. You're polar opposites and I don't expect that to change too horribly much, but you're going to have to care about Franki to be her guardian. She's different than the rest of us, she wasn't chosen because she was friendless or insecure. She has great focus and alot more magic power than she can understand or even than she knows. It will only grow while she's blind because she'll have to reach out with her senses for everyone. Things always happen for a reason, at least if you're a captor. It may be hard for you to understand, but maybe you could identify. Franki is alone in a crowd, even if maybe she doesn't notice it. She stands out very vividly, her aura is very strong, easier to find than the other captors." she said, running out of breath again. It was odd that she had said so much and especially to Kishi.

He frowned "Care...." He said the word a little distastefully and with a bit of curiosity as if he had never uttered the word before.. which he probably hadn't. "I get.. concerned for her. I think thats about as much as I can give. I don't need nor want the other guardians supposed care.. but Franki could probably use it. So tell them to direct it to her.. she's the one who can... reciprocate it afterall. *big pause* Is she really that powerful? Perhaps.... we should attempt to see if she has another guardian. Afterall Mistress Sakura had two... " He trailed off.. while the thought of having to share his captor made him uneasy... the thought the supposed other guardian may be more qualified to help her sickened him... made his existance a joke!

Remmy snorted. "Each of us has only one guardian, Sakura could not predict our personalities or powers. After all, if given a choice, I don't think she would've paired meek Fai with meek Glory. But it is as it is and you have no fear of having to share your master. Her aura is strong, that means its her will, not her power. She will have to grow and release that power. I think that her accident was no coincidence, when you are a captor everything happens for a reason. I think the reason was that she would only be able to expand her powers if she was forced to use them." before) Remmy sighed. "Having concern shows that you care, at least a little. And the guardians can't redirect their care for you towards Franki, they already care about her. Besides, any more people fawning over her and she'll never grow." she said. "Very few of us have an aura like that, surprisingly, Ran has a very bright one. This will be better for Franki though since she will be able to feel him and he won't be able to take advantage of her being blind."
Kishi stiffled a chuckle "I suppose thats true.. she does get annoyed at too much attention! But perhaps Mistress Sakura should have put more thought into personalities and such. It's going to cause some problems.. hopefully not major ones." He growled a little "I don't like or trust that Ran guy... he's working for the enemy yet Franki and the light girl hang around him like.. like he's.. I don't know a teamate or something! What's Fai thinking letting his Mistress get so close to an enemy??"
Remmy sighed. "Fai can't go against his mistress' wishes but he keeps a very close eye on them. Franki and Glory know there's a good side to him, and so do I. His reason isn't bad, but it could never be accomplished anyways, La Mort is using him and that's it. The problem is that other persomality, which is why I'm on my guard around him more than the others. Pyralis and Fai don't like him either." she said, thinking about it.
"Well at least the're not totally idiotic then! It doesn't matter if he has a good side.. obviously thats not the side in charge if he's with LaMort! I still don't trust him.. and never will!" Said with the emphasis of a pouting child not getting their way... though he wouldn't realize this.
Remmy chuckled and shook her head. "He's in control until he gets angry or an unsigned card shows up, then the other side takes over. His control is slipping I believe, I think that's what happened when Fai and Glory showed up. Fai's wings weren't invisible so he had probably used them."
"Well... I still thinks he's a pyscho and we're a bunch of idiots if we keep letting him get so close!"
Remmy just stared at him. "You seem to like the word idiot."

Kishi nodded "It truthfully describes a majority of the poeple and creature's I encounter."
((Look Hyozan is gonna do.. something! It's been so long I almost forgot what color he was.. lol))
Hyozan meanwhile had been resting until his body recovered from shock. He was now awake and looking at some school books trying to catch up on homework. He couldn't help wondering and worrying about the other captors.. especially Franki since he didn't get a chance to really see how she was with his... problem getting in the way! He was furious at himself for appearing so weak in front of his teammates.. but it was something he could never explain. After his father died.. the panic attacks just started.. no warning or reason whatsoever! Later he decided he and Kisha would go and try to track down the others.. so long as the had left the hospital by now. He felt bad he was keeping her from everyone else.
