Flinching, Kaoru walked towards Keiko, gently placing a hand on her shoulder, making her stand. "No no. Its my fault. I'm sorry.."

Keiko winced when he touched her, and stared at the ground in front of her. "I appreciate that, Kaoru-san. But I should have known better - I was just...happy to see you again..." She trailed off, turning red again, and moved to step aside.

(I have work, but heaven forbid I actually go to sleep. xd I'll torment Kaoru, unless he gets disgusted and leaves me alone. crying )
"It's all right, I'm used to it, Kaoru-san," Keiko said softly, trying to pull out of his grip. To her surprise, it was actually quite tight, and she looked up at him in surprise. "Why not?"

Keiko looked at him and blinked before looking back at the floor. To her mortification, she felt tears pricking at the corners of her eyes, and she moved her free hand to brush at her eyes.
"I usually do," she shrugged. "But...I was so happy to see you both one last time."

Keiko was a bit relieved Shiko had moved over to talk to Hikaru on the other side of the room, drinking her coffee and laughing. She reluctantly met his gaze, rubbing her eyes again.
"I lied to Shiko," she admitted. "I said I had a choice, but...unless I get lucky, I'm being transferred to Roberia's. And I didn't really think anyone would care, so I decided to stop by and look at everything....only you both came in, and I like you both almost as much as Mori-san, and...." Keiko swallowed thickly, rubbing her eyes in vain. "And that's why I acted so crazy. It doesn't really matter."
