hahaha i totally forgot until now. I was talking to my Principal at lunch about 2 weeks ago... and we were having a very nice conversation about school and the food (i had food in my hand) i was giving him a schpiel about how the school should have more vegetarian food and vegan food that actually has nutrition (yes sir, but i'm sick of salads). Whe my best friend Sierra walked up. Well she and i were already going to Sadies together BUT no one had "officially" asked yet. So i turn to her and said "sierra, will you go to Sadies with me?"
Fickle (our principal) just stood their quietly and looked the other way.
xd it was totally f*cking perfect.
And now i'm going to prom with my other friend Alana or Robin depending on the circumstances. i'm stoked. lol.

Spartan-42O well, as you all know i call myself "Bi-sexual" but i consider myself a diffrent kinda of bi. Unlike the "fashion" bi-sexuals today, i simple follow the philosophy of, "fall in love with the person for who the are. Not for what is (or isn't) in their pants" But i don't like having to tell people i'm bi, because a lot of people, even some in the gay community, don't really accept bi-sexuals. A lot of the time we're seen as "wild sex mongers" when in reality, we just don't limit ourselves to societys standards. Thank you for hearing my rantings. cool Hear hear. Same with me.

Same with me. *slaps both hands on the table and lets out a long satisfied... sigh* Thank you! I know SOOOO many gay people (and straight people) who don't believe/don't like bisexuality. My philosophy? Love has no sexuality. its even worse when people just assume you're confused. thats been bugging me lately. Like i sing... and play guitar. But i really don't like singing... i'd rather play my french horn i don't like to sing but NO ONE believes me and they're like oh its ok kali just sing for us we all know you're lying. Or like my friend had a fight with her mom about whether she liked shrimp or not. that pisses me off when other people decide your feelings and opinions and desires for you. i don't get it. sorry WAY off topic from before but its just been buggin me all week! JEEZE

Hey there everybody. I know that this forum should of course not in any way resemple "Dear Abby", but I really have a question that I feel needs to be put out there, and I can't really talk to any of my friends about it. Anyway, I have a overwhelming and almost painful interest in one of my female friends. She knows I'm bi, but sort of dismisses it as "experimentation". I'm debating to tell her whether I like her or not, but it might absolutely ruin things. I'm sure a lot of you have been in this situation before, so if you could help me, that would be GREAT. Thanks a mil.

Thanks a mil. If she's straight and certain there really isn't much you can do to change that (unless youi threaten her...or sometihng). If she's a true friend than she should understand. It's how you tell her that makes the difference. Tell her the truth. Exactly how it is. But give options. Because if she doesn't see anything coming of your feelings and she tells you... make yourself totally open to still staying friends. Tell her you have feelings for her and you don't want to make things awkward between the two of you, and you still want to be friends if nothing else. and if she's freaked out and hates you for it, then she isn't a good friend. biggrin hopw that helps a bit

I just came out to four of my best friends. It went great, and while I'm still not planning on telling my family or making it widely known, it feels so much better.
Also, best reaction (from my friend Jill): "Wait, does this mean you'll run away with me now to Massachusetts so we can get married? Yesss!"
I'm just so happy now smile Also, just curious: is there a genderqueer thread in the guild anywhere? I haven't seen one, so I was curious.

(as said in your other thread razz ) I've seen it around... but i'm not sure exactly where it is... My mom asked me if i was bi yesterday and i couldn't lie to her. I wasn't ready at all for them to know but its too late now neutral so i'm prematurely getting used to the idea... life was easier in the closet ninja

Glad to hear it's going well for you so far smile When I came out to my best friends... the reaction varied a little sweatdrop Ranged from being totally accepting to downright awkward. Then the rest of the people in my year at school discovered it through some blabber mouth, and I ended up being severely bullied for quite a long period until the head of year got involved and threatened to suspend anyone caught giving me any more abuse xd That was... after several warnings of course not to bother me about it.
Thankfully three years later everything is just peachy and more people have started coming out in my school, before me, I can't remember a single guy ever coming out about being anything other than straight and happy with their gender. A few girls did, but then nobody made a fuss because it was a girl, oddly neutral
