Storm cocked her head.
"Surely such pleasentries wear out even the most noble of all, yes? Why do you not speal plainly of your thoughts then, instead of prettying them up?"

Farind: Nah, he wouldn't know who I was.
He doesn't even acknowledge Storm's speaking. Kibo, however, leans in, whispering to her.
Kibo: He thinks it makes him sound sexy.

Jay managed to pick up Kibo's comment, and it made her giggle sligtly. But she managed to hide it, and replied to Farind, "Pity, but I shall send my regards to BlackJack,"

"It's my nickname for him," Jay explained, "Or, rather, it's payback for the nickname he gave me," She sighed. "He calls me 'Bird',"

Farind: That's it? I would have called you "Canary."
Kibo: He's dead. The sudden lack of aging caused him to want to look as sexy as a dead guy possibly can.

Storm waved away Kibo's denials.
"Pish posh. A little lip paint here, a little eyeliner there and there you have a perfectly sexy...dead man."

Kibo: It's a phrase I picked up from Ranu's daughter. She said they were guys who painted their lips, wore eye shadow, and had long hair that covers one, or both of their eyes. Apparently, they also have greasy arms. They keep, "slipping their wrists," as she said. I think that's what she said, at least. She kinda mumbled that part out.
