JC nodded his head and told them, "Yes I did, managed to amuse Rin while I was at it." He was not going to mention exactly what he did to amuse the girl. Nor was he going to mention said amusement caused her to fall down a step, he was not a fool in the least.

Asher smirked. "Rin laughed? Perhaps her and I should get out more."
Anita smirked before rising from her seat. "I'm going to go test something out." With that, she left the tower itself for the forest.

JC was about to make a comment as Anita left. He did not have much a choice, so he turned to Asher. "Thats a rather good idea. I am sure she'd like to be out and about as well. Judging by the trouble she was having with the stairs, I doubt you'll have a chance until after the children come." He did not say it, but he thought she had a nice laugh, would have been better if it was not at his expense.

"With me being stuck here, we have little choice but to stay put until spring comes." He sighed softly. It sounded nice. Spending springtime with Rin and the children.

"Spring should be braking out soon." Came his reply, he was hopeful as much as sure. "Were you here before winter hit?" He was curious if his friend had a chance to look around much.
Gathering from what Rin said, he was doubting very much that there was a lot going on here. He was also midly curious about if Asher would ask how do shift, or if he'd get it from Rin. At least the feline would probably be kinder about it. It really didn't surprise him that Asher fell for a woman with a temper close to Anita's.

The discomfort was getting worse, it came and went but when it came back..er! Rin shifted in bed, she wanted to call for Asher; however, she doubted he would even be able to hear her. Shifting more, she whimpered lightly frightened to no end.
JC raised an eyebrow as he heard that. Well he was not going to ask much about that. "I see." He did ask something, a much safer something, "What do you think of this place?" He did not sense anything wrong with it, his friend’s opinion.

He shrugged. "It's shelter, so far no one has tried to attack it to my knowlege." He had to laugh with his friend's arched brow. "I barely made it in for winter. I had met Rin in the late fall and it was one of those chilly nights when I had taken her to dinner. We got back and it snowed the following morning."

JC nodded, feeling better about the place after what his friend said. Of course, he had to bite his tong a moment later when Asher told him about Rin and his time. He wanted to say 'working fast, I see' but he did have some self restraint, though he did not hide an amused expression.
"Well, Rin is upstairs resting; she looked very uncomfortable so it was probably the best thing for her. Also, Anita is out, probably testing if her necromancy works looks like it is up to us to amuse ourselves again." What to do, that was the question.
Rin was still twisting about, she got a bit of rest between the bouts of tight uncomfortableness, but it was short lived. Yet again, she wanted to yell for Asher, and decided there would be a bell or something from the first floor to the second and back so she could get his attention when she wanted it. She did yell for him finally, but she had extreme doubt even her hearing could hear it from the kitchen.

Asher was about to say something when he heard his name being called. He glanced at the staircase then at JC before he was already up the stairs and to the room. Apparently their question was answered.
"Ma cherie, what is wrong?" He murmured.

JC followed to see if he could be of any help.
Rin twisted a bit, a look of distress on her face, "I think they are tired of waiting." Wincing, she was getting very frustrated and scared. It was okay when it was just discomfort, but when discomfort starts to cross the line into pain, okay goes away.
Upon hearing that, JC was starting to back away a bit. Where was Anita? She may not be a mid-wife but at least she was female, she might know something about this.

Asher turned to JC. "You have Dr. Lillian's number or would Anita?" He asked. They needed someone who was familiar with anthros.

JC told him, "Anita knows but I don't." He was extremely reluctant to use what the human servant bond allowed, but in this case, Anita shouldn't get mad at him. Would it work here? Well now is the time to find out. He reached out to touch Anita, to have his voice felt and heard, 'Ma petite, Rin has started to go into labor. Asher and I are clueless and I do not know how to contact Dr. Lillian.' Bad, bad situation, what would he and Asher do if Rin gave birth before any help arrived?
Rin finally lay still, the pain had stopped and she took the chance to breathe while stroking her belly. However, before she had more the about five minutes, it came again and she was back to kicking a bit and whimpering as she tried to deal with this. She felt so alone at them moment.

Despite her being elsewhere, she gave him a reply. Now? give me five minutes and then Lllian 30 minutes at the most.
"What did she say?" he inquired, moving closer to Rin.

JC swallowed, responding back to Anita, 'Alright, love' Too bad it was the babies that would need to know they have to wait. To Asher, he said, "Thirty-five minutes or so before help arrives. I will go down stairs and get some water for Rin, do your best to keep her calm and relaxed." He then vacated the second floor quickly.
The great Master Vampire, a well trained lover, was scared of a pregnant woman. Well not scared, the whole event sort of off set him and made him uncomfortable to be around. He could be there for Anita, but would much rather leave Rin to Asher alone.
Rin shifted more before finally being able to relax a moment or two. Her eyes were s**t tightly and her head was slightly arched on the pillow and one hand on her stomach, and the other holding a fist full of their sheets.
