"Bagon? Yeah, sure, I guess so," Keegan shrugged, not really remembering for certain. "There were a lot of eggs that day." It was odd walking with a large Pokemon like Bahamut perched on his head. The moment he moved his head too much to one side, the Vibrava would start sliding. Keegan had a sudden, horrific vision of him stumbling, and Bahamut slipping and falling off, taking pretty much all his hair with her, and he shuddered, casting a sidelong glance at Dante. "Don't take this the wrong way or anything," he said, slight embarrasment apparent in his voice, "but if your hair was a bit longer, I could mistake you for a girl right here and now."

"Dozens of times?" Flannery laughed, turning on the lights as she walked, Allie now on the ground and running in circles, chasing her tail. "More like twice." The gym leader made her way to the platform she usually stood at, watching the trainers in the gym practicing with their fire type Pokemon. "Do whatever you'd like," she told him, putting her Pokeballs into the mini-healing machine, making sure they were in tip top shape. "It's not like I'm gonna throw you out of here if you don't."

Mike had decided to take the course of action, not even hearing Flannery's apathy towards the rules. He walked over to the statue recalling Napalm, who had looked tired of walking. He pressed one foot on the wall and one on the statue, stepping up a few inches at a time. As Flannery was finishing her last words, Mike's legs could be seen dangleing from the ledge as he pulled himself up to the arena.

((I liked Keegan's image. It made me laugh)) "There were, thats where I got my cute little Duskull." He said remembering when the egg had hatched that day revealing his muffled well meaning little pokemon. Instead of being insulted Dante brightened up a little. "Good, then I wont look completely rediculous." He sighed slightly. "My hair used to be longer actually, much longer. I was forced to cut it off when Ho-oh grabbed it and wouldn't let go." He sighed at that and winced a bit remembering the painfull tugs on the back of his skull. Bahamut was enjoying her ride emensily giving out happy cooing sounds the whole time.

((I aim to please.)) "Oh right," Keegan nodded. "I remember you now. I got my Psyduck that day," he added with a grin. He was very fond of that odd little duck. He listened patiently as Dante told about Ho-oh, and meekly nodded. "Yeah, that sounds painful," he remarked, not about to mention that he didn't know what a 'Ho-oh' was. The duo came up to the train station, and Keegan sighed. "Time to come down now," he told Bahamut, prematurely flinching, for he didn't know what the dragon would think of that.

"I guess that settles it, then," she said, watching as the little Skitty had followed her, and was now doing laps, while chasing her tail, around the gym leader. "Now cut that out," she told it, her voice the furthest thing from intimidating or scornful as possible. "Be a good girl and sit and watch, alright?" Allegra mewed quielty in response, and gave a nod, sitting down behind Flannery, fully intent on heeding the gym leader's words. "Good. Now that you're taken care of," her gaze shifted over to Mike as he pulled himself up at the other end of the arena. "3 on 3," she told him. "Usual gym rules, no time limit, you can switch whenever you want, but I can't. Man I hate that rule," she grumbled the last part to herself, and shook her head as she picked a Pokeball, and kissed it. "Do your best," she told it, as she tossed it out, revealing her trusty Torkoal. The Pokeball automaticall rebounded to her hand, and she waited, her hands on her hips, for Mike to make his move.

Deciding that he didn't really want to try to pry Bahamut out of Keegan's hair he reached for her pokeball and pulled her back in that way. " Sorry about her." He said with a small sigh as he went up to the ticket vendor and pulling out his mom's credit card, which she had givin' him to pay for things like clothing and food and bought two tickets. Grinning slightly he handed one to Keegan, "There you go, its the least I could do for what you are going to have to put up with in a bit."

Mike let the battle scene sink in, taking a deep breath. He stood there for a moment pondering his strategy. She never sends out her Torkoal for normal challenges, this must be a little 'alteration' for this special fight. He ran his hand down the strap of his backpack, the scratched Pokeball standing out as the clear choice. "Flannery, I will not let my personal feelings get in the way of this fight. I'll show you I'm strong and worthy of your affection!"
He didn't blush, but unclipped the ball and held his hand back. "Let's start the elementary way, Xanthos!" He tossed it out, his Crawduant being released on the battlefield. Xanthos eyed the turtle without much thought; scraping is clawed feet on the Gym floor.
"Ready set?" Mike said to himself, the battle had begun.

"Thanks," Keegan grinned, attempting to smooth out his hair, which he was sure looked terrible. He shrugged, deciding that he didn't care how bad he looked, and accepted the ticket from Dante. "Before you go saying stuff like that, don't. Who knows? This could end up being fun." Keegan laughed as he showed the way to the train, before he handed his ticket to the conductor and motioned for Dante go ahead of him. "Ladies first," he snickered. "Might as well start getting into character."
Helios, who'd been incredibly quiet during the whole walk, waited patiently beside Keegan, an annoyed look on his face. The small fox's six tails flicked back and forth slowly, and he yawned loudly.

My affection? Flannery thought, frowning. This is an official gym battle, and the only thing that should be at stake is my Heat Badge! She flexed the fingers of her right hand after shifting Torkoal's Pokeball to her left, her lips set in a tight line. She looked down at her much-smaller Pokemon, and nodded. "Start things off with a Smokescreen, Torkoal!" The leader called out, doing her best to keep her voice stern.
The small, tortoise-like Pokemon pulled his head inside his shell, and took in a deep breath. "Kooooaaaal!" he cried, and began to spin, a thick, white smoke pouring from both his nostrills and the coals set within the shell of his back. His momentum caused the smoke to spread throughout the battlefield, obscuring him from view.

"Ha ha ha." Dante said rolling his dark eye's at Keegan's comment as he got onto the train. "Glad you find this so amusing." He sighed slightly running a hand through his shortish auburn hair befor smiling slighlty. "Your right, this might be fun and I should try to make the best of this." Spotting the small Vulpix walking next to Keegan, bending down he moved his hand over to the small pokemon to sniff. "My I don't think I have ever seen a Vulpix this close."

Keegan and the Vulpix also made their way onto the rain, and found a place to sit down. Helios looked at Dante's hand, then up at Keegan, who nodded. "He won't bite you, I think," Keegan said, scratching his head. Helios twitched his ears slightly before leaning forward and sniffing at Dante's hand. Apparently, he found nothing interesting, but held his head up, his tails twitching in anticipation. "He wants you to pet him," Keegan observed, peering at the egg through the case. It wobbled slightly, and he smiled at it.

Smiling at the fact that he hadn't gotten biten Dante shifted his own wiggling egg and pet the small fox happily making sure to rub around Helios's ears knowing most animal's liked that. "He's very well behaved. I wish my pokemon had as much manner's as this little guy here." Shifting a bit on the heals of his feet not really comfertable in his position squatting down on the ground he got up and sat down on one of the seat's. "So how long do you think this is going to take?" He asked curiosly. He didn't ride the train that often usually opting either riding Apollo or having his mother fly him around on her Aerodactyl, smiling slightly at the thought that when Bahamut evolved into Flygon he wouldn't have to use the trains at all.

"All right, let's finish this up!" Mitsu cheered forgetting that Nightmare had been confused. "Nightmare use Surf!" Ignoring his trainer's orders the Gyrados began to trash about missing the Ninetails by quite a bit. Haku, on the other hand, was struck several times. He landed on the ground with a thud and promtly fainted. "Ohh, Haku.." Mitsu sighed recalling the baby Pokemon. Mitsu seemed to zone out for a second before Lauren's voice brought her back into reality. "Ninetails use Flamethrower!" Lauren ordered. "Snap out of it Gyrados!" Mitsu shouted, her competative voice coming back though. This time, however, it was laced with a bit of panic. "Use Earthquake!"
The fox Pokemon unleased a stream of fire at the confused Pokemon, who took substantial damage even with the type resistance. Mitsu bit her bottom lip, hoping that Nightmare would pull though with a Surf attack. Nope. Instead he continued to thrash about, only ending up hurting himself. She bit down a bit harder. "I..." NO! I won't give up! ...But Nightmare might get hurt, I should stop...NO! don't! He can do this! The trainer took a deep breath in hoping that she would be able to pull though. "Nightmare snap out of it! It's me! MITSU!" she yelled trying to get though to the Pokemon. The Pokemon paused a bit, but shortly began to trash a bit again. "Bite!" Mitsu screamed.
Nightmare roared. It was loud, so loud that both trainers covered thier ears. Then he charged, his pearly white fangs gleming in the light. Score! Nightmare crunched his teeth into the fire Pokemon, who gave a whine in reply. "Enough," Lauren called returning Ninetails into it's Pokeball. "I really thought I had it there," she laughed clipping the Pokeball onto her belt.

"I think I got lucky," Mitsu said scratching the back of her head a bit. She lifted Nightmare's Pokeball up and returned the Pokemon back into it's Pokeball. "Would you happen to know where the Pokemon Center is?" Mitsu asked remembering once again that she was lost. "Sure do, follow me," Lauren said already leading the way.
"I take it you don't come from here do you?" Lauren asked, striking up a conversation. "Not from Lavaridge if that's what you ment, although my hometown is in Hoenn," Mitsu answered.
"Really where from?"
"The one and only Mossdeep." Mitsu gave a small grin, despite the rude kids and a not so perfect childhood there, Mitsu loved the island. "You should visit it sometime. It's beautiful."
"Mhmm, I'm sure it is." Lauren paused a bit. She seemed to be looking up into the sky. "...was that a green Crobat?" she asked looking completely surprised.
"Green Crobat?" Mitsu muttered. Doesn't Kasiya have one? The two trainers continued to walk to the Pokemon Center, they didn't seem that far away yet it was still hardly in sight.
