((AAAWWW! heart 4laugh Squee!))
Mizaku giggled, swinging his tail and grabbing the rocks again in his mouth. He dropped them down into the large, green leaf; reverted his eyes to Jendayi. It was good idea, and he was glad she didn't take it as a childish habbit... Mizaku had a thing for trinkets. (( xd ))
Swimming? He LOVED to swim! But then, what leopard didn't? The "tree-cat" hopped in place for a moemnt, and the crouched to a pouncing position. "Swimming? Really?! You'll let me swim in your waterfall-pool?" he said excitedly.

Jendayi couldn't help it; she smiled lovingly at Mizaku and felt the urge to please him, "It isn't my waterfall. You can swim in it if you want! Come on!" She said exuberantly and climbed her way over the embankment. At one point she thought she would fall after a few rocks gave way under her paws, but she continued past Mizaku. She reached the top f the fall and put a paw into the water. She jumped in and it took all her strength to keep her feet planted in the rushing river. Water sprayed around her and she called to Mizaku, "Jump with me!? Please?"

Mizaku hopped along after her, climbing up on the rocks and springing into the air. He landed a little behind her, but crawled up to her side. The water was pulling very hard, and he wasn't sure how long he'd be able to stay in place. The leopard nodded to her, still smiling. "Yeah!! On three!" he shouted, to keep his voice above the roaring water, "ONE! ... TWO--" Just then, a log floating down the river rammed into Mizaku's back. He yelped in pain and was flung down, hurtiling towards the pond.

(( gonk Why'd you do that!? Gets a bandaid and some neosporin)) Jendayi had not anticipated that. She very boldly let the current sweep her off the falls and into the pool below. She swam with strong, powerful strokes to where Mizaku had fallen. Tried pulling him with her paws, but knew that would fail. Was he dead? Was he unconscious? Could he breathe? She tried gumming Mizaku's neck but didn't want to hurt him. In the end she gave up and just wrapped her paws around him and swam backwards onto the bank, trying to haul him up. She hadn't seen the log come and knew nothiung of Mizaku's condition. She felt her chest become very heavy and every breathe she took was hard aginst her.
"Mizaku..." she whispered to herself, more than him before pulling herself onto the bank. She was on all fours now and trying deperately to pull him by the scruff of the neck without biting into him.

((Paaaain! lol sweatdrop )) Mizaku's eyes were shut tight and his teeth gritted; his ears were flat against his skull though his body was mostly limp. He started coughing, sniffing, coughing again. All the while letting out muffled, painful, little cries that he tried to hold back. Why had that happened? Why did something like that have to ruin this good day?! He was having fun with Jendayi, a new friend, and now he couldn't even move. He couldn't even tell what was going on.
His body twitched rapidly, Mizaku's schizophrenia wasn't being held back easily. It wouldn't be long before he realized the blood running down his back, and it triggered his odd condition...

Jendayi rolled Mizaku onto his stomach after seeing the strange pool under Mizaku. She gasped and tried to suppress the noise she had made. She laid down next to Mizaku and felt him shivering. She was large enough that she could wrap herself around him to warm his wet body. Blood from his back got on her white underbelly, but she didn't make a notice. She started gently nuzzling his forehead and trying to calm him as much as herself.

Mizaku whined; he felt Jendayi trying to help him, physically, but... he didn't know it. He hadn't felt this much pain in a long time... a very long time, and his awareness was fading quickly. His tail beat against the ground everytime he made a cry, and soon the cries turned into... growls. ((o_o)) ((My short post is just... the coolest short thing. xp xd JK JK ))

Mizaku's claws extended, and curled as he clenched them and dug into the dirt. He growled again, and then, finally, he opened his eyes to look up into the sky. It was a sad, painful look... This hurt so bad, it almost sent him into a convulsion. The juvenile leopard watched as Jendayi leapt in front of him; he felt her tongue against his forehead. His eyes closed for a second, calmed... his body became less tense... Mizaku reopened his eyes, and sniffed the air with a frightened face. His view shifted to the lion's underbelly... her... blood covered underbelly. The fur on his neck stood up in fear... the site of blood... the smell... it literally made him go insane. Mizaku's eyes went wide and he kicked his back feet, hissing madly. He didn't even know what he was doing. ((O____O))

Jendayi's ears wernt flat and she looked at Mizku, terrified. "What... what're you doing? You need to... to rest." She stepped back carefully and watched in terror as Mizaku kicked. She gave a quick shudder and kept stepping away from him in confusion.

Mizaku shook his head vigerously, he actually flipping himself over, trying to get to his feet, and only flopped back down on to the ground. "Y-YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME!" the frightened animal cried. His shrieks were more dangerous than scared now, and he started pulling himself -with his front legs- back to the water...

Jendayi looked at Mizaku now with no fear. He was obviously smaller than her, and wounded. She started walking towards him, talking calmy and all the time soothing him. She tried not to look nervous but she was, not for her own safety, but his. She was so confused, what had happened?

Casting her amethyst eyes back and forth Kali's sleek frame weaved through the drying grass of the Mistweaver lands. Her alabaster and ashen coat wrapped elegantly around her slender frame moved easily in the sunlight. Looking forward agian she spotted a more lush and shaded area, hoping for some shade, she continued heading for the oasis. She had heard that a mighty pride had lived here long ago, being wiped out by a disease, causing them to slit and scatter. Some say it was why the lands where suffering. Picking up her paws with an incresed haste she padded along eager to escape the sunlight beating down on her pelt. Just a bit further. Approaching her destination she slowed her pace a bit, allowing her muscles to relax as she entered the shaded area of the trees. Letting out a quiet sigh she flopped to the floor, rolling and stretching about in the dirt, cooling her warmed coat.
After stretching her front and back paws to their optimal length she let them limply flop to the ground. Closing her eys her mind sliped into a peaceful slumber.

((Welcome, Chikagi xp ))
Mizaku kept saying things to himself... things that didn't even sound like real words. He never stopped crawling, pulling with his strong front legs, though weak from his injury. When his paws finally reached the cold water, he started dragging himself down the muddy bank. Soon enough his head was submerged in river water, russhing over his bloody back, and he was still going. It wasn't clear what exactly the crazed leopard was doing; running from Jendayi, or trying to drown himself?

Maji paced towards the massive waterfall, holding his head up high and his shoulders rolled back. He was a proud creature in appearence, nothing about him denied the fact that he was an heir to the mistweavers. He was getting larger but he was still a cub though his mannerism and skills in vocabulary and writing were far past the skill of even an adolecent in that pride. He was loanly and lost. His life had been one dull routene after the other, his nights were filled with confusing dreams and longful thinking. He had searched the caves beneith the waterfall for weeks for his family history. What he had managed to discover that each line would carry a symbol or symbols through the entire line. His family's mark was either the lightning bolt on his face or the series of markings upon his shoulders. What they meant he had only begin to find out. The more he looked in that maze of historical caves the more he knew and learned. For a cub he was quite inteligent and able- though any "proper" lion would say he behaved very un-lion like.
He began up the rocks easily, scaling the high face of the stone that bore the largest waterfall- his caves. His homes, and in a way- his prison.
