With what sounded like a squeak, the cub jumped a few inches off the ground, spinning around the second she landed and instinctively backing up. Only a few steps, mind you, as she stopped upon the realization the newcomer wasn't trying to maul, kill and eat her. "Where'd you come from...?"
No way her senses were that bad! Her brother had never managed to sneak up on her before (or maybe he had and she just wouldn't admit it). The thought that older lions were more skillfull when it came to sneaking around never crossed her mind, much less the possibility this was a 'God'.
"Uh, I got lost," she provided defensively, hairs standing on end as if she suspected him to attack her after all. "And my name's Hasana."

Panting, he scaled up the side of a dune. Begining the descent down it, he looked about despretely. Letting out a soft mewl, he listened hard for the familiar answer that he seeked. Yet the land was silent. A haunted look crossed his face for a moment before he began to run once more. She wasn't there and never would be. And it was all his fault.

The god blinked a bit. What an odd question. Where did he come from? Awkwardly he tried to answere. Mortals were wierd "I come from the stars, the land. I come from where all things come from."
His ears flicked as he listened. Lost? That made sense, he guessed. He blinked, and almost suprised look crossing his featers as she spoke her name. A name... he hadn't used his name for a good long while. "Dih-ji. Come, I will lead you out." he stood, turning a bit to glance around getting a spaced out look, as if he could see beyond the dunes. And well he could. This was his land afterall... atleast partially.
Something distant reached his ears, a cry for help... He'd have to ignor it for now. One at a time.

"You're one of those crazys, aren't you?" If someone wasn't going to eat her by mistake, they'd perhaps do so on purpose. Being so blunt probably wasn't a good quality for a cub who not only didn't have 'important' parents, but didn't have parents at all. With the mention of being led out, she lifted her ears in a more alert way. "Oh, alright!"
Back home! Or...closet thing she had to one, which was good enough. Walking closer, she stopped at his side and waited patiently for him to lead her like he said he would. During which time, she sized him up curiously, only to discover...wings?!
Maybe he wasn't the crazy one here...

Crazy? He glanced at her a moment "No." blunt questions received blunt answeres. And even if he was crazy.. he had enough power to define which was which. So it didn't matter.
The faintest of smiles came to his face as the cubs bit of hope reached him. Good... he'd managed to do his job. Almost as if he'd noticed her discovery his wings unfurled to a more comfortable position as he started walking. The pridelands would be best for her... they were the closest. Not that he could take her into them.
He started up the dune, keeping his pace slow enough for her to keep up. And a wing out to shade her. Walking.. what a pain.

There were no words for it. God lions, or whatever term was used for them, wasn't something she was knowledgeable about. Therefore, she followed in silence, not above staring at the wing shading her. He wasn't crazy, just some kind of...mutant or something, she decided.
Adults had always been hard to keep up with, but for some reason she found this one particularly difficult. Either he was walking quickly, or she was just going slower due to the shock. As they drew nearer to the pride lands, she snapped out of it, just the same seeming nervous. Odd for this certain cub.
"I can find the way back from here by myself," she assured him, bounding ahead. Only a few strides away she stopped, glancing over her shoulder and getting a good look at him, memorizing the image. Right! Wait until her brother heard about THIS! "Dih-ji, right? I won't forget!"
That said, she continued on her way, soon vanishing in the distance.

Dih-ji watched as she went, almost looking sorrowful as she called back. Most cubs forgot. And likely she would too. Jahina was one of the few to never forget... And look what happend to her.
He heaved a sigh, turning to lead himself away from the boundaries of his lands. The call for help still fresh in his mind. If he helped one cub minas well help the next... There was no reason not to afterall. Not like he didn't have all eternity.
His eyes drifted shut, wings spreading out as he once more faded into the wind, drifting about until he could find the source of the call.

He stumbled through the sands, his paws feeling heavy. Tumbling to the ground he was unable to stop the tears that had threatened to fall. Finally giving into his rampart emotions.

Dih-ji appeared nearby, silently watching. A bit of pity for the cub hit him for a breif moment... But a god shouldn't have such feelings, so he quickly pushed them away. He'd do his job then move on.
He cleared his throat as he stepped foreward, wings pressing against his back to hide them as he'd done with the other cub. "What are you doing out here in the land of the firekin?" he asked the same question as before, took the same stance.. as if everythign had been practiced over and over again.

He stared at the winged lion for a moment. Remaining silent however towards his question. Why did it matter that he was here? It wasn't like he was causing a problem. "nothing"

"Are you lost?" he blinked "Not many cubs can survive here... And i know you are not of the firekin blood." He was allways sure to keep track of that.

[dang it I gtg I'll reply to your post in the morning] "does it matter?" His voice was soft and grief stricken. He watched the male through haunted eyes. Moving to sit tiredly on his hunches.

"Perhaps." he shifted to a sit as well "If it matters to you, then it shall matter to me." his own eyes were blank, wise if anything. Free of any emotion. Perhaps he had been too long without the trait of emotion, but honestly he didn't care.

He remained silent, blinking in the harsh sunlight. Barely able to feel the oppressing heat that moments before was agonizing. Prehaps he was losing it or just simply didn't care anymore. As if carrying on a conversation in his head, he muttered softly. "it wasn't my fault"

Meanwhile, the young 'cub' that had tagged along with the group long before was now seen, trotting over a sand dune back towards the territory. During Mwali and Suku's departure and Koho's worriment for the white female, she had slinked of to explore the world she had nearly forgotten and looked much older then she did. Now a pretty young juvenille, her red eyes gleamed with youth and mischief as she watched the other lions scurry around like ants. She then noticed Jasiri, laying down, one of the first females to clean and show affection to her. The young teen quickly clambered over to the adult chocolate lioness and nudged her cheek gently. "...miss?...are you alright?"
