Kanashisa was no where near strgon enought to hold onto Medri once the guards got close enough, and Glory did not move again. once she was free of MEdri the first think she did was retreat into Glory's cockpit. Curlling herself up on the seat.

"Get him out of here!"
The guards restrained him and walked him off to the high-security area of the prison.
Dusana peered at Kanashisa as she got into Glory. She narrowed her eyes, then turned to park Solaris. Getting out, she ran to catch up with Medri's escort to make sure he didn't try anything.

"You would think I was terrorist or something, having so many people watch over me... Speaking of witch under my civial right, Why am I being put under arrest?" Medri was going to be a smart A$$, if anything else he could as much of the law to his side as possiable. "and I do have the right to a trial, a lawyer and, a phone call Right?" he grinned and counted the guards, four plus the captain.

the vioce knifed through the haze, the shock and fear.
she's....right...
Gray suddenly crashed back to reality; or rather the projection of it within his own choatic head....
"Kayako..."
Gray's eyes closed for a second, then opened, the haze of fear and regret melting from them; the illusion cracking...
Gray's vision cleared, revealing a Struggling kayako, fighting hard not to get dragged down by a brinning Specter of herself and Gray.
Gray felt like time stopped.
Kayako...she came...in here; into my twisted mind....even though those shades may...
Suddenly, Gray felt a strange; unfamilar feeling , but it wasn't the inverse drive...
And suddenly, the curtains parted.
A scene unfolded clearly before Gray, the core of it all:
A dead scientist, laying agianst the wall, his neck snapped.
Gray, standing over him, luaghing like a maniac; dressed in loose, white, pajama-like gear, a purple-red glow in his eyes and on his shirt...
men yelling, rushing to subdue him...
yelling about "prototype", and "unstable, but sucessful operation..."..
And Gray had loved it.
He had had craved it the flood of power, it was seductive, intoxicating...
and, he'd never forgiven himself.
He'd been horrified at that, even though it was the driver, freshly installed, posssesing him...it was the military, Xellien...
But scared of his own reflection, Gray had built a mental barrier; blaming himself, drowing himself in self-pity to atone for that sin, even though he couldn't have stopped it, he kept running, fleeing away from it, punishing himself for it...
But...
"IT"S NOT ME!! -NOT MY FUALT!!!!"
Gray screamed, and the "playback" shattered, revealing the ash wastelands and the shadows.
Gray was both mad and ashamed at his actions, Gray's fustrations and final acceptance of that one instant sent glittering streams down his face.
"IT WASN"T ME-!! I COULDN"T HAVE...C-couldn't have... I...DID NOT..!"
Something like shockwave rippled out from Gray as he stood up, and the Shadow clones began to yell as well, flickering to translucent and crying out.
"No, NO! GO AWAY! IT WASN'T ME, I'M INNOCENT-!"
The shadows where screaming now, falling to the ground, struggling weakly...
Gray dropped to his knees, his vioce failling.
"n-not my fault...Not my guilt...not my lies...not...me..."
With a final gasp, the Shadows exploded into black shards of glass-like material, then faded from existance.
Gray climbed back up, walking towards Kayako, shakily.
"Kayako...Than..Thank you. I was so stupid..I couldn't...see. But, You came to help me..."
((look, his softer side!))

Dusana didn't like his smart-allec talk. She balled up her fist and whacked him in the back of the head. "Be quiet," she said sharply. "You don't need to know anything."

She sat in the cockpit rocking back and forth... Holding both the pictures in each hand. Touching under eye it was wet...She was crying. Why, Besides the fact he escaped from prison she knew he had to go back. So why did him getting taken away hurt so much! Grabbing her head she droped the pictures one fell into the cockpit othe other slippedout on a random gust from the vent systems. "WHY, WHY,WHY, WHY!"

Medri Grumbled... he was watching everyone stride, it was harder to pull gun mid stride while one foot was off the ground. Instinct would make people put there foot on the ground before they would do anything, if he could find the point wher the most feet where off the ground and his feet wher both on the ground he could cut back there reaction time nad take more then half the group out. "Well then! I will remember that if I ever go near the capital again, The military will take away civilian rights for no other reason the refboarding! Won't that sound good on the news. O how the press will eat that up, and you will get blamed for not giving me my civial rights!" if anything else he was going to psuh them to anger and to make one mistake.

Dusana glared at him. "I'm thinking of turning your right to remain silent into a rule. There's more to this than just refboarding."
After some more minutes of marching him through the check points of the prison, they reached his cell. A guard did a sequence of things to open the door and the other shoved him in once he was in. The first guard did another sequence of things to lock the door.
Medri's cell resembled that of one in a high-security penitenary for high-risk inmates. It was all white with a bed, small table with a chair, and a toilet. There were lights high above him in the ceiling like how an office might have.
"Welcome to your new home," a guard chuckled from outside.

"Why thank you! And I will remember everything so the media will get a full write up when i get out... If you hold me for more then three days without telling me why it's agasint the law ya know." He smiled and jumped upwards bringing his cuffed hands under his feet and right to the front. His mind was all ready thinking of how to use the lights in his favor... THEY didn't frisk him again! andn ow coming into his cell to do might be dangerous.

Kayako walked over to him and put her hand on Gray's shoulder, smiling in that little devilish way that meant not only was she right, but she won. It always gave her a little sense of pride to see the badies run away in terror.
"Glad to see you have a brain, little mole. I have a philosophy about these things....Running away never solves anything, you have to take action or nothing ever gets done. Xellien WANTS you to give in to that thing...And since when do we give the bad guys what they want? Now, there's probably a room full of people scared for us out there...So lets go before they all have strokes, kay?"
Taking his hand, she walked back towards the place she had arrived from. They were both starting to fade away.
"Oh and...don't hit Rain when you wake up. She's been fussing over you for about an hour now."
(((Hooray! And oh look....the over-confident side of Kayako! There's a bit of me sneaking in here)))

Rain looked down at Kayako, noticing something. She believe that the girl was begining to stir. "Kayako?" she called, hoping she'd get a response. "Are you there?" she added, meaning in mind, obviously not in body. It was pretty darn obvious that her person was there.
((Oh, come on, Medri!! Don't break out! crying You can join the military!! biggrin ))

Kanashisa knew she had to do something... But her only skills wher piloting and she couldn ot remember anything past that. There was this huge wall, She knew there was more she could do but forgot everything. "Glory, help me please..." She held the controlls of the LFO tightly, but nothing happened. "Medri..."

Feeling something tugging at her, the image of Kayako in Gray's mind faded away.
Back in the hangar, the real Kayako blinked a bit before opening her eyes and...well pretty much jumping since everyone just HAPPENED to be right there.
"Geez!! You guys don't do that!!!"

Medri yelled down the hall a little louder then he probaly should. "Well I guess this is my end. What a way for a proffesional merc to go! Guess my freelance days are over right?" Even if they just walked away, medri knew the pass code unless it changed ever other second.. really the guard doing right in front of him was dumb!

Rain backed up a bit in surprise when she yelled at her. "Sorry," she said quietly. "Asuka called me over here..." She looked down at the corner of her eye, then back at Kayako. "Wh... what happened?" she asked. "Did you... what did you do?"
Rain was leaning over again, practically on pins and needles just waiting for Kayako to answer her.
