You're right...it's kinda like what happened with the Trigun anime; it started off all happy, then in later episodes, it got all serious and sad with very few silly moments. And I was a little irritated too, but not at the angst (angst is what I've come to expect from CLAMP... rolleyes ). No, I was annoyed with Sakura-chan and her stubbornness; she had me fuming and ranting at the computer screen for quite a while. xp
