The young theif looked down, and noticed, a small trail of black scuff marks on the ground. staring at them for a matter of minutes he noticed that they were probably from his shoes, carrying lyon had made him drag his feet without him noticing, and leaving a trail, easy for some one to follow.

Asil noticed a trail of scuff marks headed down a side street not too far away. "Hm... I don't recall that from before the skirmish..." He bisected another bandit, still frowning at the marks. He normally had a very good memory, so either it was slipping, or someone had moved something heavy while they'd been fighting... Lyon, perhaps? "Hm... maybe whoever did that carried off Lyon?"

(( dang it, im tired of the suspense! ))
the healer, smiled at the young theif, sothe, and replied, " of course, i cant just sit and let someone die, can I? " he knelt down near lyon, and pressed his staff against lyon. A large blue aura appeared and sparkled, then receded, Lyon opened his eyes quickly, and coughed a little, then pulled himself up into a sitting position and looked around at everyone.
" what...? I thought i was dead... "

Asil booted another bandit aside, then turned to the spellcaster. "I'm going that way, along those scuff marks. We need to get out of here anyway." He spun, slashing a brigand out of his way, and sprinted toward the side street marked by the scuffing. He sheathed his sword so he could run easier, and quickly outdistanced any of the bandits that tried to follow him.

((I know, double-posting is frowned on, but no one else is replying, and Lyon's getting antsy, so here I go.))
Asil, sprinting along the trail of scuff marks, quickly caught up to the source. Skidding to a stop, he caught himself on a crate by the side of the street and straightened up, taking stock of the situation- four people, one had the look of a healer, one seemed to be a tired thief, a third- just sitting up and looking quite surprised. He looked to this third one, taking a guess. "I suppose you're Lyon, then? Seems you found the healer you needed."

Asil nodded. "I see. A couple of people back that way were rather worried about you." He jerked his head in the general direction of the way he'd come, then looked to the healer. "Well, thanks for healing him."

Lyon's eyes widened, remembering the friends with him when he got hurt, " really?... um... who? what were their names? " lyon asked, curious.

Asil frowned. "I didn't get names, but one of them was a spellcaster- sage or bishop, I think. He used light magic, anyway. The only other one I saw was a swordsman, but he didn't make it out of the bandit trap..."

Lyon voice was shakey, " the swordsman... Is he alright? " Lyon asked really worried.

Asil shook his head sadly. "'Fraid not... he was on the wrong end of an axe swipe... though I doubt he felt much pain..."

Asil paused for a moment, then nodded. "All right. Just a warning, though- we were retreating from a rather large team of bandits, so it might be hard to get close to him." He pushed off the crated and started back up the street, heading back to where the spellcaster waited.
