"I try to take care of meself... 'air included." She replied with a smirk. She laughed softly feeling his hands wander her curves, tilting her head back in his hands as he massaged her scalp again. She was enjoying the attentions he was paying her, it was nice, sweet, gentle, a gentle reprieve from their more strenuous activities. Her hands were reached behind her, settle on his thighs.

"Well, you do a very fine job." Xol grinned, gently combing his fingers through the length of her hair. He knew right then and there he had to marry Phia, but his stomach exploded into a jittery mess of nerves. How could he ask her such a thing? He knew she loved him, but that was a pretty extreme step to take was it not? Now was definately not the time, it had to be perfect. She deserved nothing less. Her hands on his hips snapped him out of his love daze. "Oh really now, and just what do you think you're doing there little missy?" He growled seductively.

"Can't I touch tha man I love?" She inquired and looked up at him with a smirk. She turned around and studied his crimson eyes for a moment, he was nervous about something, she could read that much, but....why? She was completely oblivious to what he was debating. "I like 'av'n physical contact with you, it doesn't 'ave tah be sexual....but it calms me..." She said, leaning into him and settling her head on his chest, water still falling on them.

"Of course you can... I didn't mean to make it seem like you couldn't, you know very well I cherish your every touch." He said with a smile, matching her gaze with his own. Xol could tell she was studying him, wondering what he was thinking about. Oh if only she knew. When she leaned into his chest, he tilted his head and rested his cheek on the top of her head. With a deep sigh he hugged Phia tightly, these were the moments he wished would just last forever. Peace, calm, absolute love. "Indeed..." Xol said dreamily with a loving, deep sigh as he held her in his arms. "You're the one Phia, you always have been... I want to have kids with you and mar, erm, be with you untill the world ends, right here in your arms." He caught himself, hopefully not too late.

"Good." She replied with a smirk. She was quiet for a few moments as she listened to him speak, a smile on her lips at his words. Words she doubted anyone else would hear but her. Affection and love, moments like these he wouldn't readily share in other company so she cherished them. Not that Phia was a sap really either, but it was a nice reprieve from the harshness that was this world. She finally looked up to him again. "Wha's on tha' mind of yers Xol?" She asked.

"Heh..." He chuckled and smirked before going on, "If you knew what was going on in my mind your fluffly little head would explode my love." Xol leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips before she could contemplate that teeny insult he had just slung at her. "Although there is the matter of being couped up in here all the time, shall we... perhaps, take a stroll in the forest? Or did you have another location in mind maybe?" He quirked his head and took in her radiant beauty as he waited for her anwser.

Phia rolled her eyes at the insult.
"Becareful Darling or I'll use my fluffy little head to destroy you." She said with a smirk. She paused for a moment in thought, not sure where they should go. "Well, the forest sounds wonderful....any where really, I'm not picky." She said casually brushing a stray lock of hair from his face with the lightest of touches.

"Indeed, and one of the many reasons I am attracted to you so. The forest it is then... but we should take your method of transportation, as I've been tweaking some things in my 'mist'." He smiled somewhat sheepishly as he waited for her, his ability to shadow walk came from his 'mist' and he would have to rely on Phia to get to the forest. "After you love..."

She smiled and took his hand, stepping from the shower, letting go to towel off. She hunted for her glasses, finding them. She ran a brush through her hair as she wandered her wardrobe for suitable attire, a long black elegant skirt and a dark gray blouse. She pinned back the damp onyx hair, then looked up to him. Once he was ready she took his hand once again and walked into the shadows.

He let her lead him out of the shower, the water slowing to a stop as their bodies passed over its sensors. His scarf passed over the ground, catching his leg and twirling it's way around his body untill it came to rest at it's usual location. Xol walked over to his side of the closet, which was noticably smaller than Phias, before selecting his normal attire. Well... at least the two of them both loved the color black.
The sensation of his skin squirming enveloped his body. The tweaks he had made were still a work in progress and even he didn't know when he would be completely one hundred percent. Feeling Phia's hand in his own, he followed her into the shadows.

He lurched forward, the bed sheets falling off his body as he sat upright. Xol's mind was always replaying his life over and over again. Decisions made, questions unanswered, the faces and screams of all those he'd killed. Always haunting him, always chasing him down in his dreams. There was no emotions that connected them together, it was just a punishment from him.
What could he do though? This was the path he chose. All that could go right was going right at least. He had Phia after all and that's all he cared about. Cared wasn't good enough. Love. Xol loved her, and loved her with all his heart. There wasn't anything she could ask that he would not do. Such was love.
Xol leaned over and kissed Phia on the forehead, then down to the tip of her nose before placing a soft kiss on her lips. She was sleeping so soundly... at least he knew nothing could break their bliss.

Phia stirred when she felt her lover's arms pulled quickly from around her form but didn't quite wake just yet, though her senses were on alert. Something had bothered him enough to wake him. She felt his lips, on her forehead, nose and mouth, his kisses urgent, yet gentle, he was trying to convince himself of his own humanity again...so to speak. She stirred into wakefulness this time. A slender hand clumsy with waking motorskills reaching to caress the side of his face.
"Nightmares 'gain love?" She asked quietly in his mind, her lips were otherwise occupied. It had been what? Two years since they started their relationship? Their true relationship, the one where they divulged their love. The relationship from before which was just sexual tension disguised as loathing friendship hardly could count. But two years now spent with a man she could not think of truly spending time without. Lover was the title she had given him in her mind, "boyfriend" seemed so....childish. Something her daughter would have given to a boy were that the gender of her affections. Not that it mattered. Not that Phia needed titles but it was usually easier to introduce someone with a lable than without.
She opened her eyes slightly, the violet irises attempting to make sense of the blurs of color without her glasses which would be virtually impossible for the woman at the moment.

Phia's hand moved towards his face and he eagerly moved to nuzzle it. Feeling her soft, slender hand caress his face instantly sent his body awash with feelings of calm and relaxation. What would he do without her? She made it all go away.
"Aye, I been 'aving nightmares again luv." He lovingly mocked her before grinning stupidly and cuddling up next to her. Moving his head under her neck, he softly kissed around her jawline until he made it to her ear. "The ones with you aren't so bad anyway..." Xol chuckled and lovingly nibbled on her ear lobe.

Phia's eyes rolled at his mocking of her accent. Something after close to a decade of living in this relm she couldn't get rid of. She felt his lips at her neck and her eyes rolled back into her head, removing all thought from her concious mind for a few moments. With his lips on her ear she purred softly.
"I wasn' aware dreams with me could be nightmares." She retorted with a smile. Even in her mind she had an accent, which was half irritating and half amusing. She turned, nuzzling her face into Xol's shoulder, pulling her ear away from his lips. "I love ye..." She verbalized aloud finally. "Also, yer damn trouble...but I think ye know it."

"Lately you've been getting the better of our one vs one skirmishes, but the war is far from over. And usually they end in hot, steamy, unadulterated... showers. What'd you think I was going to say?" Xol snickered, eagerly wrapping his arms around her body as he moved closer to her. He gently massaged up and down her back, teasing her hair occasionally.
"I love you too Phia... very much so... however, I have many things to keep me occupied in the lab tomorrow so I should be getting some sleep. Another day..." He sighed before loosening his hold on Phia as he drifted back to sleep.
