Kilik took a step toward her, so that his nose was nearly touching hers. She was slightly taller than him; barely noticable. "Sabrina? Sure, I'd be worried if she found me. But you wouldn't let her turn me in...would you?" he whispered. Flareon looked from between its trainer and then to Nina, then back to its trainer. "I'm not trying to act like a bad a** by saying I'm not worried about Team Rocket...They recruited me because of my skill. Think about it..." he took a step away from her, "If I'm good enough to join them, I'm good enough to stop them."

"Now lets see..." Keegan made his way through a store on that floor, finding himself by the Pokedoll display. "I wonder if Kassie would like one," he asked aloud, going through the selection. "I don't even know what her favourite Pokemon is." He thought back to her team roster, and picked up a cute Pikachu plushie. It looked so real, that for an instance, as he stared at it, he thought it would jump up and shock him. "I think I'll get this for her," he said, looking around for a checkout. He found one, and after paying and getting the doll wrapped, started to head back downstairs.

"Things are okay over here," Kasiya said, inching slightly closer to Nina and Kilik. She could hear Nina's voice raise a bit, but couldn't make out the words. The disgarded hospital gown floated harmlessly across the street and lodged itself up against a lonely looking bench. It was hard to tell what was going on between them, and her worry for Nina only got worse as she saw Kilik move closer to her. I won't let him hurt you, Nina! Kasiya thought, her hand gripping the PokeNav tightly. She almost couldn't hear Ryka on the other end of the line, and suddenly realized how rude she was acting.
"I'm so sorry," she said, turning away from Nina and Kilik's figures. "It's really busy over here," she added. "How about when I get back over there into Kanto, we go out and have lunch - just us girls." She smiled into the phone. "Give cuddles to everyone for me, and keep Jaeshan out of trouble." She smiled to herself as she hung up the phone. Ryka was such a sweet girl and a good friend.
"Maybe I should go over there," she said to herself, taking a tentative step forward.

"I would try to reason with Sabrina and convince her not to turn you in, but I would never argue with her," Nina replied, answering Kilik's first question. "But whether you're strong or not, the team vastly outnumbers you. How long do you honestly think that you could last in fighting them? And what would happen if you lost?" Nina grew quiet for a moment. She looked down to Flareon and stroked the top of its head. "...I couldn't stand to lose someone close to me." Nina didn't even notice how much her attitude had changed toward Kilik in the ten minutes that she had been talking to him.

Mitsu rolled her eyes, yet another easy gym puzzle. Don't tell me you don't see the path Mike. Mitsu opened her mouth to say something but decided against it. "Hey Karri can you find Flannery and just teleport me there? I don't feel like tinkering with the gym right now." Karri gave a small nod and in a flash the duo materalized a few feet from Flannery.

His eyes widened for a moment. Close...to her? Kilik shook his head. "Nina, you..." The boy hesitated. His hands shook lightly. Koffing stopped floating and fell to the ground with a light thud. Scyther crossed its arms and closed its eyes again. Kilik looked up at Nina and took her in his arms. "Listen to me, Nina. You won't lose me." He gripped her shoulder for a moment, "Not again."

Mike smacked his head and spun around on is heel, he did that when he was flustered. While he was whirling around, he saw an all too familier red poof of hair. "Wait." He said as he stomped his foot, stopping. He saw the beautiful Leader from across the room and waved. "Hey!" He started, trying to not sound scared. The truth was he felt utterly terrified. What's wrong with me? I've taken down Rockets with less anxiety!
He stepped forward, still a ways off from the arena. "Sorry about earlier, I was just...surprised to see you after all this time." He nervously adjusted his hat, his hands shaking.

"Aww to heck with it." Mag said as the Arbok was sent flying by the Thrash attack. "Excuse me gentleman." Mag said as he walked up. "Sorry that these... people... caused you some trouble but if you would allow me to intervine and hopefully battle for any scrap of honor that may be left." Mag said with a bow as Sunfire and Tsunami came up.

Anna backed off a little, and Mihoshi landed on the ground, waddling back toward Anna and Kuma. Nina wrapped her arms around Kilik, giving him a great hug, and she was silent for a moment. She closed her eyes, resting her head against his own. A tear fell out of her eye and it landed on Kilik's neck. Nina's face turned a light shade of pink as she whispered, "Good. Because I'm not very good at losing people, you know?"

The boy couldn't help but smile when he felt the cold tear fall onto his neck. "Don't cry now, Nina." He looked at her and wiped a tear from her cheek, "There's no need for crying. Everything is fine..." Scyther looked at Koffing and drew a circle around its head, saying 'Kilik is crazy'. Koffing let out a laugh, smog coming from the holes in its body. "Don't cry, Nina."

Keegan found himself jogging down the rest of the stairs, happy to be outside again. He could see Kasiya was about where he'd left her, and she seemed to be watching someone. It was Nina, and that odd boy from yesterday. They seemed really close, and Keegan decided it was best that the two be left alone. "Hey Kassie," he said, running up to her. "I got a new shirt," he said, showing her. "I also got you this," he added, feeling very warm in the face as he handed over the wrapped package. "I hope you like it," he added.

Nina was quiet for a moment. She pulled away after a few seconds, but that felt like almost forever to her. "I'm sorry," she apologized. "And I'm sorry for the things I've said to you, and the things that Sabrina's said to you, and..." She was quiet for a moment. "I'm just... I'm sorry. I guess I just really didn't know how to deal with everything that was going on. I hope that you can forgive me."

Kilik took a step back. "It's all right, Nina," He looked over at Scyther and Koffing. They looked away from each other. Scyther tapped her foot and Koffing bounced like a ball, "I forgive you," Flareon jumped down from her arms then looked at Anna. The Fire Pokemon growled lightly. "Listen, I'm about to grab a bite to eat at the Center. Care to join me?" he asked.
Wait!! Scyther thought, her jaw dropping, he said he was getting Potions and Antidotes! She waved her scythes about angerly.
"Scyther! Settle down!" He unclipped the Park Ball from his belt, "Return!" a red beam returned Scyther to its ball, "And you too, Koffing." The Poison type went quietly.

"I, uhm..." Nina stuttered. "Sure, I'd love to go with you. I haven't eaten all day," she confessed. "And these guys haven't either..." She picked up Mihoshi and held her in her arms, something that Nina hadn't done since she was a Togepi. "Uhm... shall we?" she asked.

Kilik put his hands in his pockets as Flareon jumped onto his shoulder. He was somewhat quiet as they walked toward the Center, which was right across the street from the large Mega-Mart. Flareon kept leering at the Misdreavus. "Stop it," he whispered sharply at his Pokemon. Its ears drooped and it rested its head. The doors to the Center opened. "After you, Nina." He held out a hand to show her through.
