Jeje! I play Trombone, Valve trombone, Bass trombone, Baritone, Euphonium, Tuba, Sousaphone, Eb tuba... etc. For Marching band, I played Sousaphone, trombone, and baritone before I was drum major. For concert I play tuba, euphonium or trombone. Played an e flat tuba once, and it was awesome.
In addition, I play the other brass (trumpet, French horn, Fluegelhorn, etc)

ari7 GuitarSavior ari7 I play trombone. Does anyone have tips for playing high Bb? (talkin' about the one that's four lines above the staff gonk ) I can play it, but it's not that pretty sweatdrop Its fifth position ok rolleyes What? I'm not talking about positions... unless playing it in 5th is easier than 1st or 3rd. I still prefer 1st. Tips for a clearer tone? I use a slightly smaller mouthpeice for one (Bach 15D, as opposed to the normal 12C), and I usually play it in first. However, playing it in fifth helps with stability, it just requires a higher partial, of course.

No problem ari! I had the same problem a while ago, for an all state audition peice. It got easier over time though, with more practice. Good luck with the playing! ^_^

I'm new. I've been playing the baritone for 5 years. I also play the marching baritone. I'm only in 8th grade but I want to play different instruments but my family can't really afford it right now.

Just... Tuba... BBb Tuba...
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has tried that singing and playing simultaneously technique. I've seen Tuba sheet music that has Pachabel's Canon in D with the Played part on Tuba being the Bass line and the melody being sung into the instrument. One player, two parts.
