Rhys wonders what the heck is going on. He turns his head from side to side nervously realizing victory is afoot. "Well, I guess this is it. Good job everyone!" Rhys gives the biggest greatest smile he could as if his soul has been finally relieved at last.

As Aruna sat upon the throne, a faint rumbling could be heard in the distance, where they had first entered this temple. At long last, the entrance was being opened, allowing them the ability to leave this ancient place. With the aid of the highly mobile and flying members of the team, the group quickly reaches the entrance, no doubt ready to finally see the sun once again. However, something was missing...

"Well, that was a bust..." "Aw, shut it, we're just lucky we got outta there! If it wasn't for the big guy cuttin' us loose, we'd be on our way to the dungeon." "I suppose you're right... Well, it is impressive that you managed to survive. We thought you were gone for." "Ha! I knew it all along! No way big guy goes out like that, no way! Right?" "...I swim good." "You sure do, ya big galoot!!" " Hmph... so what now? We made it out, but have nothing to show for it." "Don't you worry your little fancy pants! I hear things, ya see? There's other treasure troves like this out there, don't you doubt it... and we're gunna score!" - - - - - - - - - - After safely reaching the surface of the lake, the group swims ashore and dries off as much as they can while Tibarn curses and rants off to the side about how the renegades somehow managed to escape. After calming down, he heads back over and addresses them. " Well, they managed to get away, but at least we stopped them from pillaging the place... we did that instead!" He chuckles. " Yeah, I know, we were given permission. The guild can use what we found, and the kingdom will no doubt want to buy the gem, so you'll have an extra commission coming your way for it when we get back to Eyris. You did well. All of you. We faced some s**t and I for one feel like I came out of it stronger. And wetter. But mostly stronger." He cracks his knuckles. " As for those thieves... they can't escape me forever. But first... I think I better go assemble a council meeting. There's a bit of history that deserves to be written down and remembered."
