Hello! Welcome to the guild! Yes, the Horoscope is a giveaway that changes with each month, meaning that you can claim different kinds of Pokemon and items for your trainer character(s) per month according to the listings on the first post on the first page.
Since we're still in November right now, you may claim either a level 10 Pokemon that can learn Dig by level up or a level 5 Pokemon that can learn Foresight, which you can check via the provided links in the list of what you can claim this month which will lead you to the respective Bulbapedia pages to give you references on what Pokemon you can choose from, plus all listed items like one Ground-type item (ex.: TM Earthquake), five Pokeball seals of your choice, three grooming items of your choice (with exceptions), and 5 berries of your choice that must all be the same kind. So, for example, you can't claim x3 Shuca plus x2 Chesto berries, all five berries must either be all Shuca or all Chesto depending on what you want.
Also keep in mind that legendary Pokemon cannot be claimed by the Horoscope giveaway, but if the Horoscope is on the month of your birthday you can claim a level 10 minor legendary in place of the Pokemon that's available during the giveaway if you want. Major legendary Pokemon can only be obtained via the Legendary Lotto that happens every 3 months or bought in the Shard Shop for 100 Star Shards.
If you don't really know what you want to claim from the giveaway but don't want to miss out on it, you can instead put in a placeholder so that you can claim your Pokemon and items later. For the Horoscope, putting in a placeholder if you want to claim stuff before it changes over for the next month is definitely recommended, so that you don't miss out on getting some neat stuff for your character each month.

Edit: You don't necessarily have to claim all the listed things available for the giveaway. For example, maybe you don't want any of the Pokeball seals or grooming items since those are mainly for contests. If there are certain items you don't really want or you don't want to claim a Pokemon but still want the items, then just leave them off your list of claims.

I'd like to tack on to what Darkie informed you on to say that you need to actually have a profile made or at least in the works in order to make any claims in any giveaways. :3 So make sure you get to that asap so that your current claims can count.
