I'd also like to add that, for my other guild, 1B Gold has been a consistent grand prize, but sometimes if we have them available we also give out current and past (usually just a year) envelopes for seasonal events; for my raffle this Halloween, there's a 2k15 October Envelope and a 2k14 October Envelope.

Thornwick It depends on what you received from donations. You could lot them together, look at the price range, and go from there. It you're thinking on an individual basis, it depends on the donor's budget. For me, it's 1 or 2 billion in gold (I have extra items I'm willing to donate), since my funds have dropped drastically. Say, if my donation budget is 2B, I could donate 1B in pure gold, and use the other billion to buy items. Very expensive/Grand prize would be 50M - 1B, moderately priced would be 1M - 49M, and inexpensive would be 1 - 999,999. I know it doesn't seem to make sense, but depending on what--and how much--you're purchasing, it'll add up. lol Thank you, Gen! It's good to get a second idea of ratings. This is what my original breakdown looked like. Price less than 1 billion is inexpensive Price between 1 and 5 billion is moderately expensive Price above 5 billion is very expensive (grand prize) Price above 500 billion is WTH, quickly close the tab

Yeah, just look at the budget and how much you're willing to set aside for that specific event. In the other guild, we send all our donations to the mule: the raffle is a monthly occurrence, so we always set aside a gold prize (amount varies depending on availability) and an item (again this varies); events are much larger with several contests, so we have to increase the budget and look at what we have available (we always look at season/festive items). Additionally, the gold saved up can be budgeted to purchase prizes We can start a donation account (a new one or use a mule; I have a mule that I'm willing to lend for that purpose) for that purpose and we can just donate gold and prizes; that way when an event comes up you'll know how much is in the account and can use it to purchase prizes, too.

Thanks Thornwick for your perspective smile Ok, well I'm good to go then. I put aside stuff all year for the donation drive at Heartbreak Cafe, and I've already given them quite a bit, so I'll use the other stuff I have saved for prizes. So if anyone needs any prizes, I'm happy to help out. If we're not expecting a large number of people would it be ok to do a RNG game where it's just 1-50, and every number wins something but you can only have three rolls?

Hey guys, Just letting you know that the mule account is ready to receive donations. To keep track of all our transactions (trades, event budgets, etc.), I created this thread. Please, let me know what you think. Gen

I got approval from both guild captains, so some of the BG guild members will be invited to the party as well. I'm discussing things with Ni (the other guild captain), as I don't plan to invite the entire guild (many of the members are never actually see in the guild, so it do sent make sense to invite them all). Our number of attendees will probably increase, but I don't expect the number to explode wildly. Probably more like 10-12 total including anyone from this guild.

Darkerdemons Calacie Thornwick Not sure what to pick honestly. ^^:; Either Avatars or Soundtrack sound interesting. I'm leaning towards soundtrack, but could you pm the details to me? I'm not sure what the contest entails. Also, I have some gold and items I'm willing to donate. (Pretty sure I can dig up five prizes; I'll let you know otherwise.) If Thornwick wants to take soundtrack I'm happy to do Avatars too smile It would be nice to see an avatar contest where I can understand the judging rofl I know you probably already gave me your answer, Gen, but can you remind me which section you wanted to manage or if you don't think you'll have the time to manage a section? xp Oh! Um... <_<;; I forgot I know soundtrack was one. Let me take a look at the others you offered.

In the first post of this thread I've tentatively set the 19th as the starting date. It will only open if we're finished setting up by then though, so if you want more time, that is fine. I haven't set an ending date yet. Will check my calendar when I get home, but maybe the event ends at the end of the first week of November?
