"Easy for you to say you didn't play paintball." Lark complained even though she was trying to do as he asked but it was hard she was so comfortable in his arms and she didn't see why his anger might be an issue she knew he got mad but she never saw the worst of it only once and never again so she was confused

Devon took long steps, so she wasn't able to stay there long. He placed her in one of the chairs at the table. "There you go." he said, satisfied. "Doesn't that food smell good enough to make you want to stay up?" He asked, sounding completely serious. The scent of cooking food wafting in from the kitchen was very tempting. He couldn't wait for a large bowl full. All the stress worked up an appetite.

"Nice joke." Lark told him smiling but he was right sort of the smell of the food coming for the kitchen. She was hungry, not that she would admit that yet. Lark as awake as she was going to be, by the time Devon took his seat across from her. Lark had a nice idea on how to get him back. "Can I pick the movie we watch tonight, please?" She asked not hiding the fact that this was her way of getting him back for waking her. Lark let him see the movie she had in mind through their bound, and it was a chick flick that would make most men squirm but she wasn't sure if he would being a werewolf and all.

Devon rolled his eyes. "If you want. I'll watch whatever." he said. He tried not to give her the satisfaction of him flinching. He wasn't into the serious chick flick. Yea, there were good ones but of all of them one like THAT.

Lark smiled even though she knew it would be hard to find a type of movie he detested while she enjoyed it then she had an idea and smiled the picture of innocence as Theresa came out with chicken and mashed potatoes for them out Devon would know the aura of mischievousness that was around her. She ate a smaller than usual help of food letting Devon and his mom eat most of it she had to wonder where his farther was though it wasn't like him to miss a meal. But se let that gone and enjoyed the conversation around her

They kept the conversation neutral. He didn't feel like going into the serious matters yet. Tomorrow, perhaps. When Lark was more herself. He tried to get Lark to eat a like more then she was, insisting that he didn't need to stuff himself every meal. But she didn't seem to have much of an appetite. Soon they cleaned up and left to occupy themselves for the night. Devon joined her in her room, ready to find out what ridiculous movie she planned to torture him with.

Lark felt bad about using Devon as her garbage disposer due to the fact that she couldn't finish it all and she doesn't want to be wasteful and hurt Theresa's feeling because the food was good, she just couldn't stomach it and if she tried which she did, but the it resulted in her feeling ill so she just stopped and gave her helping to Devon since he like meat so much and he deserved to pig out a little because he looked stress and she thought he would like it, but he didn't seem to he just worried more about her, which she didn't want. Theresa for the whole meal didn't seem worried about Lark and her lack of appetite because she understood and her son was just worrying for nothing. After the meal she shifted and went to see where Kaleb went off too. After so digging Lark finally found the movie she was looking for, what took it so long was the fact that Devon had all but buried the musicals, In the end she got it and put it in by the time Devon made him self comfy, she put it in and cuddled next to him on the bed and pressed play for Little Shop of Horrors, the newer version. Lark could swear she heard Devon growl under his breathe

Devon tried not to groan. Horror was good, musicals weren't his thing. But a horror/musical? Who came up with this? Were they even thinking? He tried not too but was eventually pointing out parts that bugged him, covering his face at as a musical number started and groaned. A lot.

Lark would elbow him every time he made a sound and it d give him a look when he made a rude comment finally she just about had it with his complaining. "Devon its not like you getting your teeth pull, besides after all of the cowboy movies I watched with you without complaint I might add don't you think you should do the same for me." Lark told him giving her best sad eyes to make him stop it

Devon tried not to look at the puppy dog eyes. The ones that made him guilt and ready to do anything she wanted. But he failed, his grumpiness melting. "I'm sorry. I'll stop. I promise." he said, kissing the top of her head. He would try to give it a chance.

Lark smiled and kissed his check and settled back into his arms to finish the movie and she decided to let him watch an action movie since the musical was so short and he started be havening himself. Unfortunately she fell asleep in his arms and just in time too because Kaleb was back and he brought a kill to the house and needless to say Theresa was not happy about it.

Devon turned off the TV and left Lark to sleep. He needed to see what the commotion was downstairs. Already being a little emotionally drained, he dealt with the problem rather well. he yelled until his father tool the large deer he brought in to the shed before he ruined his kitchen any more than he had. It was still his house after all. Once that was done, he retired with a polite good night to his mother. Theresa wished him a good night. After witnessing yet another argument between the men, Theresa started to make plan on getting the two to make up and stop their squabbles. It was getting out of hand.

Lark stirred when Devon came back into her room and even though she still wasn't quite like her self she managed to open one eye and look him when he settled down. "Devon, are you sure you're okay? You don't seem fine." said She warping arms around him.

Devon lay back and sighed. "Not really." he said, starting at the ceiling. He placed one arms around her. "I told you earlier, I was having anger problems." He was silent for a moment. "I can explain tomorrow if you want to rest." he informed her, not wanting to unload on her and worry her.

Lark opened both eyes and look at him, the worry was plain in her expression and through the bound despite his intention not to worry her, she was worried. She turned his face toward his with her soft hands. "Is it something I did? I mean if you don't want to marry me I understand, its nothing to get angry about." Lark told him honestly taking the blame yet again think she was the cause of his anger management issues
