Nola let go of the beast's neck and looked at make sure Meribelle was alright. "Everyone alright?" They had gotten enough this time for the whole pride and their guests. However since Nola had seen a flash of dark pink going after the foals she gathered that Leanna had gotten food for her and her mate. The pale green lioness sighed and then looked at the zebra. "Ok then...Akira since you canhandle more weight would you please carry the food home?"

"I'm fine,.." She said as she looked at the fallen beast. She, too, has seen leanna go after one of the two foals, and thought about what Nola has said earlier. She shrugged the thoughts off though. Now they had to get the Zebra home,...

He nodded his head at the King, he moved away. His rich purple coat shimmered as he left the safety of the cave, his nose fell to the earth as he began to sniff around. His King had asked him to take his own children off the Queen's paws, but...who was the Queen?! He lifted his head and gave it a shake with puzzlement as he flicked his feathered tail.
There had to be someone out here to play with, even if it were to be an adult lion. He wanted to figure out this playing bit. It sounded rather interesting, plus...Nola had asked him to. He wanted to please her oddly enough.

Akira nodded and took the Zebra's neck carefully in his jaws again. He noticed how the other two seemed worried, he'd noticed the magenta lioness earlyer too but hand't thought much about it. he twitched the end of his tail at the two signaling them to follow as he began to drag the kill towards the cave.

As Akria shouldered the kill Nola smiled and then started the trip home. It took little time and the lioness soon saw her mother resting at the cave opening. Nola let out a roar to annouce their successful return.
Adelle was pleased to see her daughter coming home. Nola was becoming a great huntress...much like she had been in her day. She turned her head to see the little cub that those two had come back with and playfully swatted at him with her tail. "Little one...Akuna if my mind still remembers...I think for the moment you could stay up here and play with me. Once the other cubs hearus having fun maybe they will venture from their mother's side to joy the fun. What do you say?" She smiled at him and had her tail feathers tickle his side lightly.

Akira held the zebra firm in his jaws until they reached the mouth of the cave. He gave a curtious nod to Adelle before dragging the zebra into the cave and placing at the center. He let out a deep roar to announce thier return in case they hadn't heard before padding back to nola,adelle and akanu.

He turned his gaze back to the older lioness, he smiled and bowed his head. " Hello, yes. I am Akuna." He laughed softly as she swatted at him, he lifted a glowing golden marked paw up and swatted at her tail with a paw.
"Oh?! Their with their mums?" He blinked surprised. The sound of Nola and Akira caught his attention, he smiled softly as he watched them both with an almost dreamy look. Catching himself he snorted and turned his eyes back to her, giggling he pounced to the side, away from her tail.
He dropped to the earth, his rump wiggled in the air, he gave off a growl as he pounced at her paw.

The aged lioness chuckled and batted him gentlely as he pounced her paw. "Yes they are with their mom. You know Nola is my daughter. So in a way I could be called your grandmother." As Nola arrived home Adelle looked at her and nodded to her.
Nola smiled at Akuna and her mother as she came home. "I see you are playing nicely." She sat down and nuzzled Akuna and then waited for the others to take what they wanted for the food before taking her share.

Akira took a few peices of the kill over to were Nola, adelle and akanu were sitting. He dropped the peices in front of them "there we go..here everyone eat, i'm sure were all hungry by now" he said smiling and sitting next to Nola and akanu with his peice.

Meribelle quietly took her a piece of the kill, and took it to her own little secluded place in the cave. She watched everyone as she ate. She had grown a spell of secrecy about her, and liked to keep to herself alot more now. She fancied herself a bit of a philosopher, though most might call her just wierd. She compared her self-isolation of the others, to a single star in a dark sky. With noone else around to show thier own light, hers would shine the brightest of all,...

As his father and mother spoke with one of te other adult lions, the young prince Kuan-Yin moved from his mothers side to watch the newcomer and Adelle play. He sneeked over to adelle, his littl body hiding in the shadow of the large adult lioness. He hissed and spat at the other cub, his tail waving in the air.

"Now Prince...that is not a very nice way to greet a new friend." Adelle said as she looked to Kuan-Yin. "Akanu is here to live with us and be friends with you. Play nice." She looked at Akira with thanks and then patted Akanu on the head glad she had brightened his day a little. "Why don't you go tell your father to get some food for you and your siblings?"
Nola nuzzled Akira as he settled down next to her. She then moved the food closer to Akanu. He needed to eat first. She would take her part afterwards. As she heard the little prince hissing at Akanu she looked at him wondering why he was behaving so. She was glad though when her mother spoke up first.

Akuna's shackles rose as the hiss entered his ears, as they flattened against his head. Akuna backed away, a soft growl echoed his chest as he moved away towards Nola. His tail lashed out behind him as his back arched up, he didnt like this...not one little bit. At Nola's nuzzle, he jumped and spun around, his eyes wide as he then let out a slow breath.
He rubbed his head against her cheek for a moment, the scent of meat caught his hungry attention, with a growl he pounced the meat as if killing it himself.

Akira returned her nuzzle happily as he watched the cubs, he smiled seeing Akanu pounce on the food "you'll be a fine hunter some day" he said to the little purple cub

Kuan-yin looked up at Adelle, his eyes narrowed slightly at being punished by someone other than his parents. He hissed again, this time darting after the little cub that had gotten away, he playfully tackled the cub as he ate, little kitten bites landing on Akanu's ear.
Back by where Pastel lay, one of her small cub, He-Ming as he would be come to have benn known, moved about, his small body moving over his siblings and around the back of his mother's paws, curlingi n close to her for warmth.
