Daemon shrugged his shoulders when she said it would lead to something personal. Highly unlikely, but there wasn't much personal things to talk about. True he did bear a grudge against the DWMA, and even if going there would make someone better they were still being used. It never bothered you or occur to you to think that you were being used by the DWMA? I mean a spirit as powerful as Death should have no trouble dealing with all the things he has his Meisters and Weapons do...He uses them like he used me, and it will remain that way until things change. Daemon looked around when he heard the female who was hiding speak and reveal herself. He had that same look in his eyes as Dumon looked into the girl's Soul, her past. He smirked under his mask. A little goody two shoes who thought justice and protection over the weak was right...We should kill her or maybe teach her a lesson? At least this one since you let the foxy girl slip by...Vector was muttering inside their shared minds, wanting to do something rather than being forced to sit and watch as potential fun moments were ruined. Daemon shut Vector up and then spoke.Nothing much, but there seem to be a lot more eavesdroppers in Death City than I remembered...

"One more since I got here!" Jessica told him cheerfully. She didn't comment on Daemon's statement since she didn't know whether it was directed at her or just the fox girl. "Sounds like fun," she told her with a smile. She idly played with the golden bracelet on her wrist. The device still seemed to be working properly or they probably would have said something by now. She continued smiling as she let go of it and took a few steps forward and into the alleyway. "Well, I'm Jessica Jetter. It's a pleasure to meet you all," she told them with a slight bow.
Daemon looked at the female who introduced herself as Jessica Jetter. He gave a nod of the head to return the acknowledgement as he put his hands in his pockets while using the inside of his arm to keep the satchel with the Masks from floating towards the females, and if let out, ultimately injecting their treacherous thoughts into their minds. Well when you allow yourself to be manipulated I guess you do get stronger, but only to an extent. And when I was last here, if you were caught eavesdropping you had your ears cut off...It's a pleasure to meet you...They call me Daemon... Daemon watched as Jessica fiddled with the bracelet and Lily walk past him. He might have got on her nerves, may have not, it did not matter to him.

Jessica touched her ears gently as she heard Daemon talk about cutting off ears. "Well I sure hope that was a long time ago. So uh...what are you guys up to...?" She asked, hoping to break the ice a little since Daemon seemed to be somewhat evasive and suspicious. She still had no idea what he was exactly. She could tell Lily was a Meister like her but Daemon's soul eluded her. They were talking something about manipulation and the benefits and weaknesses thereof. "I guess it depends on who's doing the manipulating," she said.

Daemon chuckled at Jessica's remark. True it had been a long time ago, but he also did it to somewhat scare her. He felt Jessica trying to read his Soul, but it was so heavily guarded that even Death would notice his presence within the city.Death manipulates his Meisters to do his dirty work for him. Like pawns in chess, they are disposable to him and easily replaceable...
Lily shruugged "was just relaxing before i saw him...and now its just talking..or..arguing...its however one can see it" she simply said "and if Death is manipulating us...but....most of the Demon groups ive seen r heard of do the exact same thing...manipulate the weaker minions to their disposal" she explained "tell me...Deamon..why are you in the city...i you dislike Death so much...and his...control?" she asked him

Jessica listened silently to their manipulation theories before speaking up. "Everyone manipulates each other to their own ends," she told them with a friendly smile. "It's what people do to each other to get what they want. Friends, family, strangers, everyone." She looked back and forth between the two. "Even you and me. Every interaction is an attempt to manipulate someone's view of you into what you want them to see," she finished as if she were giving them a lecture on Psychology 101.

Shian felt a bit left out. She wandered around the streets on top of Sasha until she found Jessica near an alley way. She felt two souls in the alley way. She walk towards Jessica "Where. Others" She asked showing her primitive lingual nature.

Daemon eyed Lily. She was a strange one no doubt and rather naive. You don't know much about Demons do you...? They prefer to be by themselves or work with others... They never truly manipulate others unless of course you talk about a Witch and their Familiars...But that's a different story...As for why I am here. Let's just say I haven't been here in a long time. I used to live here, and even if I dislike Death because he betrayed my trust, this was once my home to you know... Daemon always referred to Death as a traitor to his trust by sending him on a mission with very little info to 'test' him like he did by sending Maka and Soul to Stein, but this time, there was no opponent to hold back. He turned to Jessica and her definition of manipulation, it was funny granted it was extremely narrow minded. For everyone to be manipulated would mean we were all puppets in the grand scheme of things. He felt the presence of another approaching as his eye twitched. He was never fond of large crowds and it was getting crowded here.It seems it is getting quite crowded here, if you don't mind, I will be taking my leave...Daemon walked further into the alley, taking a turn into a dead end. By the time anyone had caught up to him, he would have melted into the shadows and the welcoming darkness.
