According to the Gamestop and EB websites, it comes out the ninth.
I don't think people are going to care too much about an Eldar glitch right away, everyone is going to be playing Tau and Necrons.
I do hope that with the new game, more... nice people play online. I'm sick of listening to all the idiots bashing on other races, countries, etc.

The bashers will never go away. You just need to find a decent group of people and stick with them.
I learned the horrible truth that is a Force Commander vs 24 firewarriors. *Sob*
I WANNA TRY THE NECRONS
Erm... the release dates I've heard would be the ninth.

yeah, and back to the unluckies in europe, mykal, do you think they are gonna release it, and then work on it for another month? No, they have to take time to distribute it to Europe, and make language adjustments and other stuff

No, they have to take time to distribute it to Europe, and make language adjustments and other stuff It's not like they're translating it from Japanese or Urdu. All they have to do is change the format from NTSC to PAL (If it works like console versions), which is the screen resolution and hardware adaptions.
Examples of me being right:
Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. We got extra features and bugs removed in the time it took for it to go from America to the UK. surprised

Console games have special encoding versions. MGS 2 is the best example. the US edition only had the sniper rifle with tranq darts while the EU version had both a tranq and a normal sniper rifle, along with other added extras.
PC games however, are the same, NO regional coding or that s**t. I have an American Dawn of War GOTY edition, complete with some shitty Wallwart coupon for five greenbacks off on Winter Assault.
Besides, not all countries translate their games, only thing changed in my country is in some small cases the text on the DVD case design, other then that, contents and game are the same. Germany and France however, redub the entire game.

hmmm What is the difference between the game, and the GOTY editon Finally played the demo, obviously there is a bit of work that needs to be done on the Tau. I Feel that the demo did not do them justice, probably because you cannot reach the full tech tree, and you can only get small squads of soldiers. That second mission was a doozy, it took me a while to get out of the base cause I was under attack the whole time...

GOTY has a damned coupon for Wallwart and five extra maps for skirmish and multiplayer. It also contained an "art" book of Winter Assault. Art book my a**, it was a small booklet with renders of all IG units, stuff easily found on the internet.

mrgreen I finally played it yesterday, I got the cannot find spooge drive error though, which means the game does not support your card but ironically there is a text file in the demos directory that tells the game which cards to refuse and which ones to support, I just switched the value for Nvidia Geoforce 4MX to allow it and.... stare it ran the demo....perfectly...no weird glitches or anything..and I ran the game smoothly with no lag with all the settings on high....
blaugh I love the Tau! They are so finely balanced, they pwn anything and everything but their defence is basically zero. But gunships, stealth suits and kroot help balance that out. I dont understand why people where complaining about the difficulty of the mission...it was really easy if you take the Tau patient hunter philosopy to heart. I just patiently amassed my resources while defending my base with some fire warriors, kroot and gunships while my stealth suits knocked out the whirlwinds and the chapel barracks to the west and then used a combination of stealth suits, gunships, battle suits and pathfinders to easily capture the orbital relay.
The voices are good too 3nodding .
