Her continued touch was at least a little worry off his mind. How he had come to fear disappointing her... Still even if he had she seemed to still hold affection for him and that was worth something. His eyes went back up as the two of them entered the den deciding to try and hide whatever negative feelings that wanted to grab a hold of him.

He couldn't hear Lance's half joy at his appearance. Half because he could tell that his brother was injured due to his lack of response. Still the pup was eventually offered a smile as if trying to ease any worries he might have had. He would be unable to spend some time with him though, not now as he was being asked to do something else.

No matter what that patting was worthy of a bit of a laugh or at least a smirk. Just add a "here boy" and it suited the situation perfectly. Still of course he would go to her side. She wanted him there and that was all that mattered. Of course knowing what fate awaited him made him want to at least pretend to ignore her, wet rag in his ears didn't sound all too appealing. Still his desire to deflect his negative thoughts with humor remained. His head moved her hand up, putting it at rest behind his ears before looking over at her as if pleading her not to move it. Hope you don't want this back. Despite all going on in his head that tongue came out playfully as he watched her.



No offense to Kisa, but this was weird for the young pup. He was clearly the younger of the two and yet he was to watch her. New or not that idea was just different in most people's eyes. Still it was a request from Kisa and that meant he would at least try to obey.

Big, curious eyes watched the new girl carefully. Another transforming human, he had his ways of catching on to that fact, but that wouldn't bother him in the least. All the others had been nice, even the ones who had left him alone after a while. Kisa had said to watch, but he couldn't fight the desire to at least know her somewhat. First test was just the introduction of a being who honestly thought more like a pup than anything. Simply put his muzzle went toward her with a slight sniff of her paws before backing away trying to avoid scaring her.

Next test! Yes, she hadn't had time to truly react to the first, but he had to try to be friendly. Besides easiest way to get some one to warm up at times was just a happy face offering to accept them. The bone he had been playing with found its way to being rolled toward her as he nudged it with his muzzle. A tail wag later with those big, blinking eyes basically begged her to roll it back and play.

Ashur finally made it back to the den. He limped towards a near by wall and slowly sat down propped up against it. Once sitting he pulled his coat back and lifted up his undershirt making sure his patches were still holding up after all the walking around.

Kisho helped Koizumi as they where walking to the den both of them talked getting to know each other then they separated from each other Kisho going to where he was told he can rest. Still feeling that he has not been accepted by some he contemplated his earlier thoughts. On deciding on a course if action he went to Silver. "Pardon for the interruption Silver I ask if I may be allowed to build a lean to outside the den?"

He did not want to tell the reason for it but decided it was the proper course of action cause his anger at the way he is being treated reminded him of the time when he was young. With those memories the anger he had when young resurfaces.

When Koizumi entered the den he gave his thanks to the shaman then laid close to the entrance while hearing every thing inside he could keep watch on the outside. He hoped that he can talk to Silver soon. His ears perk up when he heard what the shaman ask for to his friend. He stole a quick glance at him judging his physical aspects he shook his head. "You would not last 5 minutes outside Shaman. Your skills at healing are strong but it takes more then that to survive out there."

The hand of hers actually had more purpose than just the fact he rather liked the feeling. His ears instinctively went to tuck each time the rag went near them. Simply put she helped convince them into remaining upward so she could actually clean them. As for him moving a bit so she was forced into scratching behind said ears, well that was just making the best of the situation. Her moving lips got the return of the smile once again as he read them well. Love you too.

His playfulness stopped though as she wrapped her arms around him. He didn't need full use of his ears to know she was crying and that was like taking a knife to the heart again. His paws wrapped around her as best they could before giving a soft nuzzle in an attempt to comfort her. Being able to hear it or not the fact remained he was concerned and curious. Kisa...Dear...what's wrong? In some ways he could kinda guess, but he had to find some words for her. Once again he found himself trying to brush her tears away through licking and nuzzling hoping to at least accomplish something in improving her mood.



To be somewhat honest Lance would actually be glad that her shyness or whatever blocked her ability to ask questions. He just couldn't, watching his parents being murdered and living through the last days of whatever spirits wanted to put him through it had rendered that part of him shut down. Recovery would take time if it happened at all, but that was a story for a different day. He never liked not answering those questions, but he just couldn't and that seemed to confuse most of the other children. Also didn't help that he and his brother also suffered from that "can't change human" trait the others seemed to take for granted.

Well, she passed his test with flying colors. Yes, that was about all he was interested in at this point in time. Whether she would not run away from him and then whether she would play with him or not. He truly was that simple when it came down to it. Once again he nudged it toward her. This game would continue as long as she allowed it to. As just stated, he was generally simple allowing others to determine what they would do.

Ashur looked up at Silver quietly, he could tell she was distressed over whatever hard ships the clan had been going through. He could have told her it was fine, that everything was alright, he chose a different alternative "Have i ever told you that you have the most beautiful eyes?" He said smiling up at her.

And the knife was plunged just a little deeper... He couldn't hear, not perfectly although the ringing was dying out slowly, but that didn't mean it was just out of sight and out of mind. He had read her lips well, but well now he just allowed everything to tuck as close as possible while watching her. Nowhere in his mind did it say to just ignore sadness in someone he cared about. Still if she didn't want him to know then he had to respect that due to those very same feelings. He wouldn't pressure her, she meant far too much for him to risk doing anything that may upset her more.

Her lick was met by another of his own, this one combining love with a tinge of apologizing, as he watched her walk away. It didn't stop the sad expression though as he followed in suit wanting to stay with her. He once again went to her side following her gaze to the game being played. It made her happy and that in the very least got him out of his sorrowful gaze. Seems like Lance may have a new friend, huh? He did manage a small smile as he watched her before slowly sliding his way to the ground.



It was almost confusing to still be a focus. Yes, Silver and Arkion had played with him for a while, but the other children were different. Each had seemed to lose interest in him after a while, a source of great sadness for him, and he was half expecting this to just be the same. He had once assumed it was them just wanting to play human games which he couldn't be part of or wanting to talk and he lacked the ability to, but they never really wanted to play at all. It was a nice change of pace for once.

Saying his tail was wagging would be pointless. He was forever in this lupine form and those who didn't get what being happy looked like clearly weren't following things. No, everyone in the pack probably knew all about his happy barks and tail wagging. Her playful bite got a slightly confused glance at first, he was the smaller of the two in being the younger and even being a little small for his age. It wasn't a bad confused though, she was acting in a way he did although his excuse was probably better...or maybe worse considering he couldn't actually say it. Still what did that matter?

It was probably hard for most to imagine that moments earlier had been filled with a nightmare most wouldn't be able to take. If it was still affecting him it was in an area only Kisa could find. For now though he just wanted to continue this playing. His right forepaw went to her head as he looked around it with the same happy pant. For now the none would wait, she was given the attention from him and it was her decision to decide what game they would play.

Silver quite surprised by Ashur's response, just didn't know how to respond. She shut her mouth up, blushed brightly, and puffed her chest out holding everything in, whatever 'everything' might be. It must have been odd for others to see since she was an alpha and all, and she even felt funny herself. "Th-Thanks," She said quietly again with her head slightly down, not wanting him to see her bright pink face. "I like your fighting style," She said in an awkward manor, and gave em a bright smile. Just then Kisho walked by asking permission to make lean. She turned her head over to him, and gave him a quick nod easily answering his question. Even though he didn't exactly tell her what it was for, she felt a stronger trust in him.
