Since silla was the one who apologized, I decide to tackle Mashi'i into the waters, taking him down with me. I let out a playful meow like sound subconsciously and I jump up and pounce on him.

Manra can smell the fire, and decides to 'investigate' the source, her eyes darting to and from as she watched the scenery pass by, heading to where the fire smells strongest.

"Huh?!" Mashai'i cries as you lunge at him.
Within seconds, you're both underwater. He is clearly surprised, but does not fight back, possibly out of fright.
Manra:
You soon find the source of the fire: Kirino, Jima'ei, and Kirino's cat Meela. They are cooking some kind of meat. Meela appears to be trying to eat a piece of the meat that may be too much for such a small cat.

"It's the girl...with the cute cat," she says quietly before realizing she said it out loud, thinking she'd only thought it. "Uh--uhm..hi."

I grab a hold of him, trying to pull him back to the surface with me. I was shocked I took him by surpised, but I geuss thats what I get for being fast! I kick down on the bottom of the river when I have Mashi'i in my hands to give myself a quick burst of momentum.

"Oh, I see," Rai'o says. "It's Jima'ei and his Bearer."
Moriah:
When you start trying to go to the surface, you feel the Ring get warm. Suddenly, the ground below you rises up, bringing you both to the surface quickly and easily. Once you're out of the water, you hear Mashai'i coughing and spluttering.

As I open the door to get ready to leave, I turn back to Hahai'i with a look of curiousity and a smile. "Well, that sounds like a good idea.... but how did you know that?"

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" I say, falling on top of him lightly, worried that I hurt him some how. I stroke is fur gently, trying to do something to get a responce from him.

"When I cannot feel the ground for too long, I become frightened," he says. "Once I felt the bottom of the river, I was able to activate my powers. But when I am either in the air or floating in the water for too long, I simply freeze up...it frightens me to not be able to feel the ground..."

You notice Marco and Nashai'o in the tavern area. No one else seems to be out of their rooms. Or they have already left.

My eyebrows raise with amusement. "I'll keep that in mind." I smile more largely right before I turn around and start to head out the door to go outside and find the river. As I assume Hahai'i is following me, I speak over my shoulder. "Will I ever acquire any power? Or is all strictly yours and I have to ask permission?" I speak lightheartedly.

"Oh, you're worse then me... I use the ground to help me...see, I guess, the world around me, so I prefer to touch it, but I'm not that bad... is there anything I can do to make you forgive me?" I say to him in a worried voice.
