Anima smiles. "300? Wow, you really have spent a long time down here!" She sets up another target down the range and fires again. This time, it strikes and the third outermost ring, before the explosion obliterates the whole target. "Ohhhh.... I can really get used to this gun! This things kinda like night and day with the one I have... its a gauss submachine gun, so it basically uses magnets to fire a solid metal round... it's more of an armor piercing weapon then a splody one... and it's got almost no recoil, so its really well suited for the whole flying thing."

"The special part about the bolter shell is this." he pulls one out of the box and shows her "There's an armor piercing tip right here." he says pointing to the gold colored tip "and then once it punctures the target it explodes inside the armor or carapace or whatever it need to puncture than at the same time if its a soft target the round can turn soft and bounce around before detonation im not sure what technology drives it but it is an amazing round."

"That's pretty ingenious... My SMG pierces though a happy by product of physics. Since, when the round hits a solid surface, it actually makes enough heat to vaporize some of the round and the surface it hits. It's not nearly as dramatic as the bolter, though... The nice part, though is that making the ammo is cheap and simple, but the gun itself is quite expensive... and, not sure how much this matters to you or not, but the power cell is actually charged by the energy released when a special type of yeast metabolizes sugar... so it's eco friendly, and the by product is really strong alcohol... not good for drinking, but great for sterilizing wounds and such."

"Well, that is interesting," I say. "Whose idea was it to make an eco-friendly gun? I mean, I love the concept, but I've never heard of such a thing."

"Sentinel Industries! Although, I think eco-friendly was more of a side bonus then an actual goal... they choose the bio reactor instead of a standard voltaic cell because it recharges itself... to only maintainence is that every so often, you have to throw in some suger, or leaves, or whatever to feed the yeast, draining the booze when it starts to build up, and I think they recommend completely emptying and cleaning the cell and reculturing it about every 6 months or so, since eventually, the amout of indigestible stuff starts to build up and lowers the cell's output. But, the whole creation of alcohol actually made it a really popular choice to power military equipment and medical supplies, because of the sterilizing aspect. Since, if you get shot or something, and you can get back for medical treatment, you can just pour some of the stuff on your wound and bandage it to prevent infection... or just a way to clean your hands before eating an MRE or something. Let me tell you, puring that stuff on a wound hurts like holy hell, but it works fantasically!"

She yawns finally done tinkering with the glock 18 and heads for the firing range to test it out.

Anima sets up another target and fires, this time hitting the 5th outer most ring (assuming a 10 layerd target). "Whoo! I'm gettting better at this! But, actually, I think I'll be trying out the sniper rifle now... Thanks for letting me use your gun!" Anima says, returning the bolter to Alex. She then picks up the sniper rifle, walks up to another part of the range, loads it, and starts to aim. "Ooooooh, I really like this zoom... and the reticle on this thing... Kristina really put a lot of planning into this..." Anima whispers to herself as she aims down range.

Alexander just kinda chuckled a little "A eco friendly gun? that sounds kinda funny. but the round does sound useful. and no problem Anima" He sets up to fire again hitting his 450 meter target and putting it back 10 more meters he had done this before with the standard issue assault rifle and he capped out at 1100 meters he was intending to beat it this time

Anima squeezes he trigger and sends a round into the 9th ring. The recoil was signifigantly less then what she was just dealing with. "The accuracy on this gun is amazing..."
