((Yeah. Kira's a little out of her mind after performing a certain ritual (in the novel). I'm having her evolve the same way she is in the novel; sorry, it's nothing against your character! sweatdrop she'll move on the others here too))

((Nah, it's cool. Just making sure I was picking up what you were putting down so Svana could react accordingly.))
Svana waved the mage off in annoyance, in no mood to let anyone else with magic touch her. Shakily, she lurched to her feet just as Kira finished with Blair and bent over Urt, the same magic snaking over his skin.
"No," she snarled.
Reaching into Baldur's belt, she snatched another dagger from him. Instead of going over to Kira, she hurtled in on Claudette, snatching the girl by the hair and shoving the knife into her back, upward, driving the tip of it into her heart with a vicious snarl.
"You take that s**t off his wrists or I pull this knife out. It stays in and she can live long enough for you to heal her. You make one move and I'll rip her heart in half and see if you can resurrect the dead. Now get away from my slave and you can have yours back," she threatened.
Baldur also moved, diving for Blair and getting his blade around the boy's throat. "Just in case. I'm not quite sure which one is more valuable at this point."
"Does it matter? They're her things. She wouldn't let other people break her toys. It shows weakness," Svana spat. "She uses any other magic other than reversing putting whatever that is on Urt, open his throat."
He adjusted his grip. "Sorry, kid," he muttered.

Kira did not show even a semblance of emotion as she continued marking Urt.
"Kill them," she said lightly. "Or don't. They are of no use to me. This Orc is stronger, faster, and more useful to me. You can have him back when I'm good and dead."
She moved from Urt's wrists to his neck.
"If that's her attitude," Blair said, "then go ahead and kill me. Claudette's done for. There isn't anyone who can heal her, there's no more medicine. Claudette had a good fight, and I can't live without her. Just take that knife and shove it into my throat. Svana has already killed her."
Kira grinned; Urt was basically hers, and he would be forced to obey her. And forcing Blair to beg for his death enthralled her.
"Well," Kira said, "finish them off. I want to see their blood spill."

"Good luck getting him through the door into your world." Giving the knife a hearty twist, she wrenched it free and let Claudette crumple. She watched intensely was Urt roared his disapproval, but was ultimately unable to break from what Kira was doing to him. She jerked her chin toward Baldur.
He didn't open the kid's throat.
"What, did you think I was bluffing? Kill him," she snarled. "She takes my orc..."
"You took her slave. If I take her other slave, that won't be equal."
"Urt is worth both of their lives. Kill him or I will."
A small dribble of blood escaped a nick in his throat, but Baldur didn't move, glancing between the two women with uncertainty. It wasn't like Kira would be able to get Urt into her world. He doubted even she had that power.

Kira watched as Claudette hit the ground, dead before she hit.
"That was the leader of SHADOW. My enemy. Does it matter who kills her?"
But Kira felt the ache of Claudette's death as she finished with Urt.
"If you don't kill me, I will!" Blair shrieked, crying loudly.
"Do it," Kira said. To Urt, she pointed to Svana and said, "Capture."
She might not be able to take Urt with her, but he was going to be an excellent reference for Kira's army.

Svana started laughing even before Urt lunged at her. She sidestepped easily. "This was your master plan?" She parried a swipe from Urt and hurtled him down. "Use my own slave, who I trained from the time he was a boy, to get me? This was it?"
"Svana, get me out of this," he growled as he made another grab for her.
"Maybe we should have mentioned that Urt has never once bested me in any type of combat," she giggled, almost lazily pitching him to the ground. Despite his massive size, she was faster and better trained. He might be stronger when it came to brute force, but that didn't account for much. She could slip any hold he put her in. He spun to his feet, for once looking ungainly. "How much control do you have?" she asked, head cocking.
His nostrils flared. "Not a lot."
"Pity." Deciding to end it, she dove to him, knocking his meaty hands away as he grasped for her, spidering up his body and around his back, locking an arm around his bulging throat. "I'm sorry, boy. Go to sleep now," she whispered in his ear.
He flopped down to the ground unconscious.
Svana stepped back and turned to Baldur. "Would you kill him already?"

"Hardly," Kira snapped. "I have what I need now, and I can make my army. The fight between you two gives me ideas on how I can start training humans."
To Baldur, she said, "If you won't kill him, could you kindly pass him this way? I wish to show you my newest trick."
She didn't wait. She roped Blair in, and pushed her hand to his forehead, her arm glowing.
"A simple DNA and mindset change," she said.
Blair mutated, his body growing taller and more muscular. Any semblance of human features were replaced by large spikes lining his body. His teeth became tusks, and his hide was tan. Hair grew everywhere, and it was obvious this was no longer Blair in any sense of the matter.
Suddenly the door burst open. There was a six foot tall Immortal with tattooed stripes across his heavily scarred face wearing a long, silver-white coat, black pants, and his black and strawberry blonde hair hung to his chest. He was muscular and his skin had some color to it. His jacket open, he was not wearing a shirt underneath, and his six pack was clearly visible.
"Kira. Stop this nonsense," he snarled, his voice deep and reverberating.
He lifted his arm, and Kira was thrown back away from mutated Blair. The man placed his hand on Kira's weapon, pulsing his tattoos, and Blair returned to his normal form, dead as a doorknob.

"Well, you can't make your army with Urt. You can't even get him back to your world. So unless you plan on dragging your army and the people you're fighting into this cafe for the final bang, let him go," Svana snarled.
Then the stranger entered, giving her a glimmer of hope. She had been planning on using Baldur to distract Kira and then picking Urt up and dragging him back to their own world where it would negate the effects of the magic. Or so she hoped.
When he seemed to reverse what happened to Blair, she pointed a severe finger at him and then jabbed it at Urt. "Fix him!"
"She means please," Baldur sighed. "She means, fix him, please."

((Sorry, I'm so far behind and I'm not sure how to jump back in, since things happened that I wouldn't have necessarily been passive to. It's one of the flaws in forum RP. Just assume that Jelryn found himself outmatched and he took Anrhea and they fled.))

Kira laughed; Svana had completely misunderstood what Urt had helped her to do. The monster she had turned Blair into had the fighting style of Urt she had copied when she enslaved him. It was perfect.
The Immortal man stepped over Blair's corpse, and he knelt next to Urt's body. Looking at Svana, his dark grey eyes met hers.
"You're quite rude," he observed, his voice smooth as melted caramel.
He gently put his hand on Urt's forehead, pulsing his magic, and the marks faded.
"Lance," he said by way of introduction as he rose up from the Orc. "He should be fine now... Madam."
Kira was rising to her feet. This was going to be messy.

Svana paced in visible agitation until the stranger fixed her orc. "Yes. What of it?" she snapped.
"She means thank you," Baldur translated.
Dropping down next to Urt, she smacked his cheek hard enough to get a small groan from him. She checked over his arms and hands for any signs of residual slave magic.
"I'm Baldur. That's Svana and Urt."
She made a noncommittal noise, lip curling slightly.

"Under normal circumstances, I'd be pleased to meet you, but we have more pressing matters. I could make the three of you Immortals quickly, and we can fight Kira together," Lance offered.
Kira kept her distance.
