::Chiiro found Shiko and flew next to her.::
"(dragon tongue) Shiko! Do not fall asleep!! Shiko stay awake, you will die if you continue to stay asleep!!"
::Chiiro continued to try to wake up Shiko, he knew she was terribly wounded..But if she fainted that must mean she is dying.. For once, Chiiro showed true sadness, dragons dont normally cry, but Chiiro let out a cry.::
"(dragon tongue) Why did you protect me Shiko Shinuki?! Why?! You could've let me die! My job is to protect you as your dragon, not the other way around!"
::Kairo watched closely, he was well hidden.. *thinks* Sorry Shiko, my love for you has not changed..But I will not allow you to live if you wont accept my love..Just wait, I'll get you for sure...*::

The Mizu no Hebi flew through the darkness, Tomasu always on the watch for anything that resembled a hospital and always kept an eyes on Shiko and her health.
After a while he saw a large building with lights still turned on and they made a quick descent and Tomasu quickly but gently lifted Shiko off the Mizu no Hebi and ran inside

*Shunketsu returned to Motoko, Kaida, and the others...and he had some food with him...surprisingly enough...it was...riceballs...*
*Shunketsu was munching on one as he set the small sack of rice balls by them...*
Shunketsu: found...*chew*...a...*chew*...stand...*swallow*...that sold some food...i thought it'd be better than roasted bunnies...

::Chiiro followed Tomasu into the building he was not going to leave Shiko's side.::
"Tomasu, why are you protecting her? You need to worry about your friends.. They need you more than her.."
::Chiiro did not want to admit it, but he was the one to be there for Shiko. He did not like the idea of having someone else care for her.::

"Chiiro, be quiet. Im sick of you trying to tell us to leave Shiko alone, she may be different. I thought you had to run messages between here and Kotoro anyway, if you are, go back with the Mizu no hebi since Ive sent him to go and get the others anyway, no doubt they are going to need treatment."
Tomasu then turned away from Chiiro, annoyed that he and Kotoro were
always trying to push people away from Shiko, she pushed people away enough herself without the help of those two..
He ran over to a desk "Excuse me!! Miss!! I need some help, quickly.."

::Chiiro growled as he looked at Tomasu. *thinks* I did it so she would be protected, so she wouldn't be hurt by humans anymore.. But Shiko, it seems you like these people. Very well for you, I will not bother him. * Chiiro jump up and flew out of a window. He continue to fly until he met up with Kotoro.::
"(dragon tongue) Take them back so they can save the girl, I am sure Shiko was not aware of that.."
::Kotoro nodded and picked up the girl and Motoko.::
"Looks like we are going to save her."
::Meanwhile::
::A nurse looked up from the desk and stared at Shiko and Tomasu.::
"What happened to her? These are no ordinary wounds!"
::She called on the pager for a few people to come.::
::A doctor saw Shiko and had her removed from Tomasu's hand.::
"Whoever you are, you did a wonderful job. We will take care of it from now on."
::The doctor and everyone else who came to help disappeared in a flash.::
::The nurse looked up at Tomasu.::
"You should go to bed now, it will be a while with those kind of wounds."
::The nurse did not want to say anything, but she knew the girl was in more trouble than she hoped, however, she did not want to tell Tomasu.::

Tomasu had never been more awake in his entire lifetime, there was no way he'd be able to sleep now.
He bowed to the nurse "I need to be awake to hear how she is doing, I can't sleep at a time like this."
As the doctor took her away from his arms and walked away he said to him, "If anything happens to her that there was even the slightest chance you could have saved her, no matter how risky, and she doesnt make it through. I wont forgive you.."

::A nurse gave Tomasu a blanket and sat next to him.::
"She will be fine..I am sure she will! Just try to look on the bright side..Okay, I need information."
::She held out a paper to show Tomasu. It asked for Shiko's name,age, weight and other information.::
::Chiiro growled and jumped next to the nurse.::
"I think I'll be useful of that information."
::Nurse looked over at Chiiro with shock, but relaxed softly and nodded.::
::Chiiro went over the paper with the nurse, explaining about Shiko's life, everything she was allergic to.::
"However, I can't exactly say Shiko has a home... And the people who raised her won't want the information given out."
::Nurse looked worringly at Chiiro.::
"Until this file is completely filled out..We can do nothing for this Shiko."
::Chiiro roared making the nurse jump.::
"YOU WILL SAVE HER RIGHT NOW!! IT'S MY FAULT FOR HER WOUNDS!!!"
::Nurse bowed and ran off quickly.::
::Chiiro growled and closed his eyes, he then opened them and hid behind a tree to listen closely to what two docters where saying.::
"Do you think that girl will live with those kind of wounds?"
"I doubt it, all the scars she has on her body are innumberable!! How can such a woman obtain so many wounds yet still stay alive?"
"I do not know, so many things about her still puzzles me..For one, why is her hair blue? That is natural, but it's very weird."
::Chiiro was about to say something when he was caught by a nurse.::
"Are you spying?"
::Chiiro turned around and growled softly.::
"I know Shiko will live..She went through so much worse..I'll warn you now, you better tie her down..As soon as she awakens, you wont be able to control her."
::Nurse started laughing and smiled.::
"We will make sure she stays calm..Don't you worry!"
::Chiiro shook his head and smiled. *thinks* The first thing Shiko will do when she awakens, is look for a place to make rice balls...*::

Tomasu grit his teeth as Chiiro and the nurse went through the form, and
at Chiiro's pathetic little outburst, had had enough.
"CHIIRO! SHUT UP YOU STUPID LIZARD! THE ONLY ONE HERE THAT ISNT
DOING SHIKO A FAVOUR IS YOU! WITHOUT THOSE DETAILS THAY CAN HELP HER, STOP BEING SO PATHETIC!"
He whispered all this loudly in a hissing tone which sounder angrier, but wasnt loud enough to disturb other patients.
"AND ANOTHER THING, WE ARE IN A HOSPITAL! STOP BEING SO LOUD!"
He got up with the blanket and walked outside, afraid that if he spent any more time with Chiiro, he'd just snap.
HJe climbed into a tree outside and wrapped himself up, pulling out his
recorder, beginning to play the ancient mist tune he knew so well, and which relaxed him.

::Chiiro growled at Tomasu but ignored him. He watched him go and walked down the hallways. He looked down the rows until he saw Shiko's room. He carefully found a way to open the door and hid behind a tree. Shiko was rapped up in bandages from head to toe. Shiko kept tighting her hand around the blanket. Chiiro frowned, *thinks* Please Shiko live, I can't have you leave me now. Not with all the things we went through.* Shiko opened her eyes and started to cough out blood. At once Shiko knew Chiiro was there. Chiiro gave in and allowed himself to be seen.::
"What did I do to you Shiko?"
::Shiko smiled slightly.::
"Chiiro, you are such an idiot..But that is why you are with me..Perhaps two idiots can actually make a somewhat smart one right?"
::Chiiro growled at the insult, but kept smiling. Shiko is always the same, insulting people when she is weak.::
::Shiko closed her eyes.::
"Please tell Tomasu thank you..And that he is an idiot, he could've hurted himself."
::Chiiro bowed and flew out of the window, he searched for Tomasu until he found him.::
"Shiko is awake now..She wanted me to tell you "thank you". So you can relax now."
::Chiiro lowered his eyes and flew off to go back to Shiko's room.::

((haha...kinda gets awkward when the main character of the story goes off away from the rest...welps, time to get Motoko and Kaida something to RP to...))
*Shunketsu sat next to Motoko, took out a riceball, and offered it to her...*
Shunketsu: eat up...we're headed to find Shiko and Tomasu first thing tomorrow morning...
*Shunketsu looked over at Kaida*
Shunketsu: ya know, if you don't wake up, you get no food...

Tomasu mearly nodded at Chiiro, still anoyed at him and not wanting to stop the song.
He began playing louder so the melody would flow into the hospital, and so hopefully Shiko would hear it and go back to sleep.

::Shiko stood up carefully and started to cough again. Her body started to shake violently.::
::A nearby nurse noticed Shiko and ran to her side.::
"Shiko, you should not be running around with your condition!"
::Shiko smiled slightly and grabbed onto the door carefully, she felt so weak and sick.::
"I need...Rice balls...."
::Nurse almost started to laugh, she remembered the little dragons warning.::
"Well that little friend of yours warned me about it."
::Shiko looked at the nurse curiously.::
"Well you have a choice..Find a way to get me healed a lot faster. Or deal with the fact that I am going to get myself some rice balls. That is your decision."
::Shiko could hear the music, but she ignored it as best as she could. When she was hungry, nothing could stop her.::
