 Amelia flinched as she felt the ropes coil around her. "They feel like snakes!" She exclaimed wiggling a bit. Once they stopped moving she relaxed, replying to Meiko, "I'm fine. They're not really snakes. It just felt weird at first." Once she was released, she stretched for a moment, as if getting used to her body again, and asked, "Is it my turn to--"Looking around she saw the other seventh year, "oh, right you probably should continue with Eriena." She gave a forced smile, telling herself she probably couldn't have managed the spell anyway, so it didn't matter that she couldn't try.

Ayamae burst through the door white as a sheet, her hair a complete mess from running. "KENNETH, GET YOUR a** TO THE POTIONS ROOM NOW, THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH ALUDRA!!!"

The sight of Ayamae bursting into his classroom all ruffled caught him by surprise. He was going to ask what was wrong, but before he could get the words out she shouted that he needed to get his a** moving, that there was something wrong with Aludra. He stood there frozen for just a moment, before saying quickly, "I want all spells to stop." He quickly turned toward Meiko and said "Meiko is in charge while I'm gone you will listen to what she has to say until I get back." Without waiting for a confirmation from anyone he darted out of the room and made a mad dash to the Potions classroom.

Amelia stepped forward, "But..." she said for a moment before pulling herself back. There was no way she could help, besides she wasn't nearly as good of friends with Aludra as other people were. She faded back into the background, figuring her goal of leaving was over. Sitting down, she took up a book, trying to read it instead of worrying. A difficult feat with the whole class worrying.

Sparrow immediately stopped when she heard the potions master scream. She was really worried and hoped Aldura would be alright and that everything would be alright. She sat down on the ground and sat there thinking.

After releasing Ammy from the ropes wrapped around her body and smiling at a Gryffindor named Eriena, Meiko was startled when professor Akahana bolted in, looking like a mess. When the potions mistress said that there was something wrong with her friend Aludra, professor Reynolds immediately made her in charge and left with professor Akahana.
Meiko looked really worried as she thought about Aludra. She spoke out loud for everyone to hear as she took a seat beside Ammy. "Well, like the professor had said... please stop from using spells until the professor gets back, and let's just hope that Aludra will be alright."

Amelia nodded to Meiko, surprised but pleased how easily the older girl took charge, "Sure you're not going to teach here?" the young girl teased lightly, trying to take the worry of her friend's face.

Having finished casting the spell already anyway Ghaleon made his way over and took a seat. If nothing else one could say that Defense class was most certainly not devoid of surprises.

Neomi looked around already finished with the assignment. At the moment though, she just hoped that Alurda was ok. She took a seat next to Ghaleon taking out a book to read.

After she had read the notes about reducto for the third time, Lena took another deep breath, cleared her mind and raised her wand, pointing it at the death eater mannequin. As she was about to say the incantation, however, Professor Akahana burst in the classroom, telling Professor Reynolds he had to leave for something was wrong with Aludra. She heard him say no more spells were to be performed so she put away her wand and went to her desk, wondering what was happening and, even if she didn’t know the Slytherin, Lena hoped she was alright.

Meiko looks at the first year and laughed lightly. She sighed as she half - smiled at Amelia while swaying her head from side to side. "Oh I'm quite sure... I'm just not the type to do these sort of things."

Amelia returned the half smile fully, "Well, you're doing fine right now." She reassured her, glancing about the room. She wondered how many listened simply out of worry for their friend. She'd never been in a class where ever behaved so well with the teacher gone. It was almost eerie.

She quickly glanced at the students around her and turned back to Amelia with a friendly grin. "I guess so, they must be really worried about Aludra too... I wonder how she and her kids are...?"

Amelia nodded, setting down her book, removing all pretense of reading. "She's early isn't she?" The young girl asked, trying to keep her eyes wide from worry. Early she knew meant bad. But wasn't it normal for twins to be early? Though how early she wasn't sure. All she remembered was her baby sister Leslie tried to come early and her mother had to stay in the hospital nearly a week while they tried to keep her in as long as possible. Maybe they would do the same for Aludra.
